Chapter 13 Battle of the blood brothers

 

Inuyasha stood up and heaved the transformed Tetsusaiga onto his shoulder.

 

“Sesshomaru she is mine and always was mine.” He said with a demonic voice as his own soul battled with the demon blood. Launching into the air Inuyasha came down hard on Sesshomaru as he himself moved to the side barley missing the first attack from his demon sibling.

 

`He is much stronger then before… almost as strong as me' Sesshomaru though as he again dodged another attack from the much more powerful Tetsusaiga.

 

`If this keeps up he may even win.' With that though he pulled out Tenseiga to now fight on a level playing field as his younger brother, with another few clashes they were locked into a struggle as Kagome other friends came up upon the battle.

 

“There Sesshomaru but where Kagome?”

 

“She by the god tree!”

 

They went around the clearing to Kagome side as she watched the battle with tears in her eyes as her best friend tried to kill her mate while her mate was only defending himself.

 

“Kagome! Kagome are you alright?” they both said at once.

 

Kagome turn to look at her friends as they approach. With Rin in her lap and a demon on either side of her all she could do was watch the world went around her. As her friends got closer Jaken waved the staff in front of them but neither Miroku nor Sango paid little attention to the toad.

“Sango… Miroku?”

 

“Yes it is us Kagome!”

 

With Rin still in her lap they hugged their long forgotten sister. Rin started shacking as she watched the fight. Kagome hugged her tighter as her friends turn to look at the battling brothers.

 

“Inuyasha blood it surfaced?”

 

“Yes but he still in control how is that possible?”

 

Kagome looks down at the frighten Rin. “There, there it ok Sesshomaru and Inuyasha will be fine.”

 

Rin looks up. “Are you sure?”

 

“Yes I will make sure of it. Sango!”

 

Sango looks down at her sister and the child in her arms.

 

“Take Rin and make sure she safe.” Sango takes hold of Rin as she latches onto Sango from Kagome. Rin cries into Sango Kimono as she sits down to conferred the girl while Miroku sits down also to try to help Sango. Kagome stands up and slowly starts walking to the 2 fuding brothers.

 

“Sesshomaru I'll kill you! Wind Scar!” Inuyasha launched his strongest version of the wind scar.

 

`Damn' Sesshomaru pulled out the sheath of Tenseiga to block the attack. As the wind scar hit the sheath the sheath held but cracked.

 

“Ha!” The Tetsusaiga changed into it diamond form. “Adiment Barrage!” The dozens of diamond shards head towards Sesshomaru. Using his whip Sesshomaru was able to dodge most of them as a few cut into the shoulder armor and into his right arm and legs. Then one large one hit into the center of his chest armor breaking it off as the shard imbedded into his the center part of his chest.

 

Sesshomaru slumped forward as the Tenseiga fell out of his hand as blood started pooling at his feet from the many wounds that.

 

`I will not give up… I must not give up… if I do my family is dead… I will not give in!'

Standing up straight Sesshomaru pulled out the diamond shard as all the wounds that he had received regenerated at a femoral rate that far surpassed even his father.

 

“You will not take my mate!” Sesshomaru eyes bleed red as the stripes on his check became jagged and with that he aura channeled around him he transforms into his Giant Inu form.

 

“Do you really think that form can help you? I've beaten you once in that form but that was years ago now I'm more powerful you don't stand a chance Sesshomaru!” Inuyasha jumped into the air and came down on the inu Sesshomaru. Open his mouth Sesshomaru grabbed onto the fang sword and hurled Inuyasha back into the tree line as he broke though the trees he came to a stop into a tree nearly as big as the god tree.

 

`It going to take more then that to stop him. I must come out on top!' Sesshomaru though as he waited for Inuyasha to attack again.

 

`Damn him… Damn him to hell!' Inuyasha open his blood red eyes as he stared down at his brother in his dog form. `I will kill this vermin and take what mine!' Inuyasha pulled himself out of the tree and started walking towards the clearing again.
