Chapter: 14 Tears of the one

 

Kagome had slowly walked into the battle between the 2 brothers. `I must stop them…' her mind kept telling her over and over again as tears filed there sapphire eyes. Stopping just in front of Sesshomaru she looked up to her mate then back to her friend who were comforting Rin. Inuyasha body was covered in blood as Tetsusaiga came loose from his hand. Inuyasha looked down at the fallen sword then looked at Sesshomaru as he started charging.

 

Sesshomaru looked down at his mate. As he watched her, her holy ki started building. `No she will kill the child with that much!' Kagome holy ki was crackling around her as small pinkish white lighting bolts starting flying around her. Sesshomaru reverted down to his humanoid form to try to stop her. Putting his arms around her to suppress her powers as Inuyasha barred down on them.

 

`I will remove those claws from my Kagome then kill HIM!' Jumping up into the air Inuyasha came down claws aimed at Sesshomaru. Slicing lightly into Sesshomaru left arm then into Kagome body dragging them from the bottom on the sternum to her obi. Blood flowing freely as Inuyasha landed on the ground in front of them.

 

Wincing in pain, “No…. stop… please stop…STOP!!!!!” She finally yelled as she forced out more holy ki then even Midoriko herself could hold. As her expanded out it pushed Sesshomaru head on forcing him into the air, while Inuyasha demon blood was purified to half-demon self. As Kagome push her holy ki further and further out it soon expanded past the field and deeper into the forest. It finally came to a stop around 50 meters as it receded back into Kagome she fell to the ground drained and in pain.

 

(P.o.v. of the people while with demon aura.)

 

(Shippo)

Blinded by the ki Shippo closed his eyes as it took him in. `This aura it feels so warm gentle like Kagome with the love that she holds for us.'

 

(Inuyasha)

As Inuyasha blood crazed died off to where he could control it the he closed his eyes. `Kagome powers if feels sad and hurt… She doesn't want me to fight Sesshomaru…'

 

(Sesshomaru)

As Sesshomaru was finally overpowered by Kagome power. `I'm dead… killed by my own mate… My child I'm sorry that I couldn't stop this…'

 

`Sesshomaru?' The power turned from one of purifying to one that of a warm and soothing touch.

 

`Kagome what going on?'

 

`I'm sorry I couldn't let either of you die… but the child… is …alive….'

 

(back to normal what ever that is…)

 

On her knees she looked around. The half demon Inuyasha still held his demonic stripes while his claws had resided in length. Sesshomaru looked a bit worse for wear but nothing a few days worth of rest wouldn't heal. The rest of the group looks at her in stun shock. She looked down at her bloody hands as she pressed them deeply into the wound to slow the bleeding.

 

Looking back over to Sesshomaru as he slowly and painstaking got to his feet she whispered only two words.

 

“I'm sorry…” and with that her eyes glazed over as she fell into darkness as her tear continued to poor from her listless eyes.
