Chapter Three -- On The Road Again

**-*At The Hut*-**

"Sango can I play with your boomerang?" Nicole asked for the thirty-ith time since her and Pj had dragged Inuyasha and Miroku to Keade's.

"No." Sango said again, helping Keade tend to the unconsious monk, staring cautiously at his hand.

Inuyasha sat in the corner, holding a huge bumb on his head and staring at the huge mallet beside Pj wearily. Nicole looked at him, then leaned closer to Pj and asked, "You sure they won't remember? Inu's staring at you're mallet."

She shook her head. "No...atleast I hope they don't remember..."

Their conversation ended when Shippou squeeled, "Kagome!!" and jumped into her arms when she entered the hut. Kagome smiled and hugged Shippou, then saw Miroku unconcious and Inuyasha brooding in a corner, each sporting large bumps on their heads.

"What happened?" she asked Inuyasha, who only glared at her and growled. Kagome glared at him. "Fine then, Sit!" Inuyasha ate durt. . .again. Kagome looked over at Pj and Nicole and asked, "Do you know what happened?"

[halo's appear] "No we don't Kagome." they said together in cute, annoying voices, sounding and appearing innocent as they clasped their hands together in their laps.

Shippou stared at him then said, "Hey, I thought--" he stopped talking when Pj's hand inched over to her mallet.

"Thought what, Shippou?" she asked sweetly, grabbing the handle.

[sweatdrop!] "Uh...nevermind..."

Kagome shook her head and sat down beside Sango, then looked at Nicole and Pj. "Wait...you told me you came through the well from America. How'd that happen? The well took me home like it usualy does."

Pj and Nicole looked at eachother and shrugged. [unison] "We dunno."

Nicole nodded. "I tripped and fell into the well while I was looking in it..." She scratched the back of her head and grinned when she got curious looks from Sango, Kagome and Keade. "Well...it's not like I meant to trip..."

"You didn't trip, I pushed you." Pj said, then realised what she said when Nicole glared at her and Pj smiled nerviously. "Heh...did I say that outloud?"

Nicole growled at The NuttyButter and jumped up, towering over her. [huge anime big head thing] "You pushed me!? That's...homiside!! Why in the world would you do that!?"

Pj stared at her, thinking rapidly. "To...see if the well would bring us here so we can kill The Pot...?"

Nicole stared into space for a second with the look that says 'Jee I never thought of that', then smiled and snaped her fingers. "Right! I knew that!" she said cheerfuly, falling into a sitting position.

**-*The Next Morning*-**

"Put us down!" Pj yelled, trying to kick Inuyasha as he held her and Nicole over the well.

"Don't make me hurt you!" Nicole yelled, grabbing a lock of the hanyous hair and pulling.

"Like you even could." he said, not even flintching from their assualt.

Kagome walked out of the forest with Shippou on her shoulder and glared at the hanyou. "Inuyasha, put them down."

"Yea, don't be a jerk." Shippou said.

"Kay." he said, dropping them both into the well.

"Inuyasha! SIT!"

Inuyasha ate durt and a loud THUD came from the bottom of the well, then "Ow." from both Pj and Nicole. Shippou jumped off Kagome's shoulder and onto the lip of the well, looking down at the grils, who lay in a heep at the bottom.

"Are you guys okay?" he asked.

"Fine..."

"Just dandy." Pj's mallet flew out of the well and hit Inuyasha on the head, just as the spell wore off and he sat up. He swayed slightly then fell over again as Pj and Nicole climbed out of the well. Pj picked up her mallet and she looked over at Kagome and Miroku and Sango, who were now standing on either side of Kagome. "So...when do we leave?" she asked innocently, holding her huge mallet on her shoulder.

[everyone: sweatdrop!]

Inuyasha lifted his face out of the ground and glared at her. "You can't come! You have to stay here, or go home!"

"Are you gonna make us?" Pj asked shaking her mallet at him.

"I'd like to see you try." Nicole said, crossing her arms when he stood up.

Inuyasha growled and attacked them before Kagome could say 'Sit', but Nicole and PJ jumped into the air with remarkable, inhuman speed, each hitting Inuyasha in the head - Pj with he mallet and Nicole with a long pole - and sending him flying face-first into the ground. They landed on his back and shouldered their weapons, smiling.

[unison] "We win."


/|\-<*~:~*~{-Chibi Half-way Point-}~*~:~*>-/|\

The Pot, Non-Fluffy and Monkey-Man appear looking around, confused, then Pj jumps at them with her Mallet from one side and Nicole jumps at them from the other with her Pole. A huge cloud of dust appears and everynow and then, The Pot, Non-Fluffy or Monkey-Man will pop out, but Nicole and Pj will drag them back in as squirels and mice jump into the cloud from both sides.
The cloud disapates and Pj and Nicole stand ontop of the pile of unconsious evil people with their squirels and mice beside them. Pj holds her Mallet over her shoulder and Nicole bashes The Pot's head in the head with her Pole one more time, then leans on it, grinning. They do a peace sign and a squirel and a mouse run to the middle of the screen with a banner and hold it up.
The Banner has a picture of the Inu Gang and says in Japanese letters : " 'The world is a better place now!' " A baby squirel and a baby mouse jump out from behind the banner and hold up another sign. " 'Thanx to : Bob The ACorn and PBJ The NuttyButter' "

Nicole groaned as she followed behind Inuyasha and the others, swaying as she walked with her eyes closed. "Where are we going?" she wined, looking at Inuyasha.

He glared at her and said, "We're looking for jewel shards."

"But why do we have to walk?" she said, swaying again.

"How are we going to look for them if we don't walk?" he growled.

Nicole groaned again, leaning on her pole for support since she wasn't used to walking this much - even if they'de only been walking for two hours - It didn't seem to bother Pj or the others at all.

Nicole glared at The NuttyButter and asked, "Why izinit bothering you!?"

"We've only been walking two hours."

[adorable anime crying face] "I'm suffering and you're looking on the positive side!" Nicole cried, Pj shook her head and ran to catch up with the others. Nicole swayed cross eyed and fell over saying, "Oh, I'm having another dizzy spell." She sat up when everyone else kept walking and said, "But...[weird crying, angry face]...you're not listening to me!!"

"Hey, over here."

Nicole frowned when she heard the voice and looked around. "Huwhat?"

"Look over here." the person said agian.

Nicole looked to her left into the forest and saw a little old lady standing there, wearing a cloak. Curious, Nicole stood up and walked over to her, realising how small the lady was when she had to crouch down to be able to get a good look at her. The woman wasn't even half her size. Nicole crouched down and put her hands on the ground, staring at the wrinkled old lady.

"So, you're friends don't listen to you?" the old lady asked.

"Uh..." She closed her eyes and smiled. "Well it's a usaul thing." she said through her teeth.

"I can fix that."

"Huh?"

"You want them to listen to you?"

"Uh..."

[sweatdrop!] "Not very bright are you, girl?"

"Well I've been told that a time or two." Nicole said, laughing alittle.

The woman sighed and held out a small purple bag that was tied closed with a golden thread. "Here, take this and give it to them."

Nicole took the bag and stared at it. "Cool, so what's in it?" she said, pulling the string to open it.

"Don't!" the woman snapped, Nicole stopped pulling the string, still staring at the bag.

"Why not?"

"It's for you're friends, not you!"

"Oh." she said, letting go of the string. "Well, okay! Thanks!" She stood up and took a few steps, then looked back at the old lady and asked, "What's it for again?"

[falls anime style] The old woman jumped up and yelled, "Just give it to Inuyasha! Hurry, before I lose my job!"

[sweatdrop!] "Okay..." she said, looking down the road and not seeing anyone. "HEY! Wh-where'd they go! Guys! WAIT FOR ME! I'M NOT THAT ANNOYING!" she screamed, running as fast as she could down the road.

[freezes frame: Pj appears beside Nicole] "So what's in the bag?" "*big anime head thing* You'll find out in a minute!" "*sweatdrop!* Fine..." [unfreezes frame]

**-*With Inuyasha, Pj, Kagome exc.*-**

Pj stopped and turned around, not hearing Nicole complaining anymore, but didn't see her. She looked at the other to see if she'd passed her, but still didn't see her, so she looked at Kagome and asked, "Kagome, dyou know where Nicole is?"

Kagome stopped as well and looked around. "No, wasn't she walking with you?"

Pj shook her head and said, "I'll be right back." and ran back in the direction they'd come from.

"I'll come too." Shippou said, jumping off Kagome's shoulder and bounding after Pj's retreating form.

Just as they rounded a corner in the road, Nicole burst out of the bushes to the gangs right, having took a 'short cut' after realising everyone had left her behind. The problem is, she hadn't seen Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Kilala or Sango standing right beside the bushes when she'd ran out of them, so she crashed right into them. The other problem is, she'd had the bag the old woman gave her in her hand, so when she crashed, the powder in the bag when flying into the air and landed on Inuyasha and the others. Except for Nicole, who had been thrown backwards when she crashed into everyone.

Pj and Shippou heard someone yell and turned around, coming back around the corner when a bright light flashed. The powder cleared and Nicole sat up, gaping at where, moments before, the group of teenagers had been standing, and where now stood four piles of cloths. Pj gaped at the sight as well and Shippou fell off her shoulder from shock.

Pj looked from the cloths to Nicole's surprised form and Nicole held up her hands in defence. "I had nothing to do with that." she said.

[sighs] Another days work done ... even if it did take more than a day ... BTW! Introducing *drum roll* JIM!! My minion that has the brain span of a dog! -> -> -> Jim : I resent that ... -> -> -> T.ACorn : [smiles] My bad ... [thinks for a second] ... Wait ... The Readers haven't attacked me yet for my short chapters ... [claps hands excitedly] This is a good sign! -> -> -> Jim : [hear knock on the door (??door??) and opens it] ACorn, thurs people here to talk to you. -> -> -> T.ACorn : [turns around a screams shrilly] -> -> -> Readers : [attacks Jim and me]
