Chapter 3

"Excuse me, my lady, but would you do me the honor of bearing my child?"

asked the monk with a charming smile, while holding my hand.

"How would you like to do me the honor of chopping off that appendage your so

fond of?" I asked with an innocent, sweet smile on my face.

The monk slowly backed away from me & said, "No, thank you, my lady."

Everyone else just snickered.

"Now, wench, who are you?" asked Inuyasha.

"My name is Nani. I was walking along & heard the sounds of fighting. I came

to see if I could help.

"Feh. What good can is a human anyway? They're so frail & they die easily.

Anyway, what could you do against Sesshoumaru?"

"I have handled demons before."

"But not a demon like Sesshoumaru." the girl with the boomerang said.

"He's a cold, ruthless, killing machine that hates humans." said Kagome.

"If he's so bad, what is he doing walking around with a human kid?" I asked.

"Beats me." said the kitsune.

"Anyway, who are you & why were you fighting with him?" I asked, pointing

my finger at Inuyasha.

"I'm Kagome, this is Shippo." Kagome said while pointing at the kit in her arms.

"Hi." said the kit, waving his paw at me.

"This is Miroku, he's a lecherous monk, so watch out for his hands." said

Kagome, pointing to the monk. "This is Sango, she's a demon exterminator, and this is

Inuyasha."

"Feh." said Inuyasha.
