There is only one way to stop a fight

Kagura sat on her magical feather; she let the winds lead her. For the moment she was free to do as she wished. Her master, Naraku, had not given her any orders, so she just breezed around. She was thinking about her master, her spiritual heart ached for him. She had cursed herself about a million times for loving him. And as if that was bad enough, her heart longed for a certain silverhaired and foul mouthed hanyou. "Stupid Kagura, you are such a slut. Loving two males, that is not normal." She scolded herself for feeling like she did. But she could not help it. Her heart had decided and she could not do a thing about it.

"At least I don't dress like a street geisha." She smirked evilly and saw a mental image of that strange miko that traveled with Inuyasha, the one Naraku feared more than the undead bitch Kikyo.

She sighed and let her feather descend from the heaven. She found a spot near a great mountain. Small drops of rain fell from the sky and she sought shelter under a sakura tree.

"Just my luck…" she groaned and she tucked her kimono closer to her body. For once she really wished Naraku was with her, he could erect a barrier to keep the rain out. She shivered a bit and closed her eyes and hoped she could get some sleep.

But she was disturbed by a grumpy voice. She looked up and saw a drenched hanyou with a bitter smirk on his lips.

- So what do we have here? A wet wind witch? snarled Inuyasha when he saw Kagura sit under the tree.

- Please Inuyasha, I am in no mood to fight you, said Kagura with a tired voice.

- What makes you think I am going to fight you then?

- Cut the shit hanyou!

- Always this feisty?

- [sigh] What ever, where are your friends? asked Kagura and moved to give more space under the tree.

- We got separated during the rain storm. I could bet my pants that perverted monk got them a warm place to sleep over night.

- Oh?

- Yeah, he is a natural to hoax people and he gets free lodging here and there, said Inuyasha with a softer smile and settled down next to Kagura. He could not feel any hostility from her, but his hand rested on his sword.

- Sounds like a "good" gift to have, giggled Kagura.

Inuyasha was a bit surprised, that sounded almost like a girl. He looked at her and saw her hide her smile behind her fan. And sure enough, he could see a blush on her pale cheeks. "What the fuck is wrong with her? We are enemies…!" he thought but said nothing about it.

- So Kagura, what are you doing? asked Inuyasha when the silence became too much for him to bare.

- Just enjoying my free time, but I got caught during the rain and I decided to rest for the night here, said Kagura truthfully. She was feeling a bit shaky being so near one of the objects of her desires.

- Tell me one thing Kagura, if you were free from Naraku - would you fight us?

Inuyasha's voice was low, almost vibrating. He looked intensely at her, waiting anxiously for her answer.

- No I would not, why should I do that? I only want to ride the winds with my feather, answered Kagura. "And maybe make love to you of course." She smiled softly at that thought and hid her smile behind her fan.

- That is nice to hear Kagura, said Inuyasha and could not help to wonder why her answer was so important to him.

They sat there for a few moments, just watching the rain fall from the sky, the wispy sound was sleep inducing. But the sakura tree could only take so much and soon drops of chilly rain fell on them. Kagura shivered again.

Inuyasha saw her shudder and he grunted before taking off his red haori and gave it to her.

- Here, take it, he mumbled.

She looked at him with her red eyes; she was both confused and surprised. She would not have guessed that Inuyasha was a gentleman. But it looked warm and cosy so she took it, but she could see how his undershirt quickly was getting soaked and she made a bold suggestion.

- Let's share ok? she whispered.

- Huh?

- Come on, you are getting sick without it, said Kagura and held out a part of the haori.

Inuyasha felt the cold creep into his skin and he nodded and moved to share the haori. He could feel the warmth of her body seep through her kimono and he felt something inside him stir around. But he pushed deep down again; this was not the time to feel a mating instinct coming on.

Kagura savoured the closeness to the hanyou. She could feel his warm body next to hers and she would keep this with her for all times. She would forever remember the time where she was close almost hugging one of her two loves. She smiled softly and leaned against him, not caring what would happen tomorrow. Soon she drifted off into a sleep like state without a care in the world.

Inuyasha smiled, it felt good not to fight her. He had been surprised when she offered to share, but the small blushes told him she was a quite different person if you weren't fighting her. He rested his head on top of hers and closed his eyes and relaxed.

Inuyasha awoke to feel the sun warm his face. He was confused for a moment when he felt something lean against him. Then he remembered, he had spent the night under a sakura tree with Kagura, his enemy. Sometime during the night he had moved his arm to embrace her and she was now safely tucked into his form. But he did not remove it, no - he wanted to wait until she was awake. It felt really good to have her like this and his previous thoughts of mating made it to the surface. He frowned, he should not have these thoughts - she was his enemy. When they met later on they would fight, they would only hurt each other.

He nuzzled the top of hair, taking in her breezy scent. "She smells good, just like the morning wind during spring time." he thought and was not aware that he pushed her closer to his body.

Kagura felt someone hug her and she felt better than ever. She opened her eyes and saw that the rain had stopped. She smiled and then she remembered. She looked up and saw the soft smirk on Inuyasha's lips. She blushed and looked away as she rose to sit up.

- Slept well Kagura? he asked.

- Yeah, I did. Thank you Inuyasha.

- Keh!

- Always the eloquent one ehh?

- Don't push your luck Kagura.

- I just wanted you to know I really appreciated it. It will not be forgotten, said Kagura with a sad tone. - I can not promise that I will not fight you, but I will try to be as gentle as possible.

- Why don't you just run away? asked Inuyasha with a more serious tone.

- He has my heart; if I do not obey he squeezes it until I agree to do his dirty work, said Kagura and looked down on her chest. - It hurts ten thousand times more then your hits Inuyasha. And I don't want to die so I do what I am forced to do.

- Shit, that sucks.

- Yeah…

Silence fell again and they looked to the skies.

- We better part before anyone comes looking for us, said Kagura and Inuyasha nodded.

They stood up and Kagura handed over the red haori to Inuyasha. Their hands touched and she felt like had burned her hand on his skin. She looked up into his golden eyes and he smiled gently towards her, not smirking, just smiling and she felt his stomach turn to jelly.

Whatever it was it possessed her to lean towards him and give him a quick kiss on his lips, but she had not countered on him embrace her and deepen the kiss. His soft tongue pushed between her red lips and into her mouth, coaxing her to dance with him.

Kagura's all pent up emotions broke through their dams and she responded fiercely to his kiss, clinging to him like he was her last hope. Her hands buried themselves in his silvery tresses, pushing him closer to her body.

She pulled away with a guilty look in her eyes.

- I am so sorry, I.. I did not know what c-came over me.. please forgive me, she mumbled and took her feather from her hair and took the sky.

"Kagura-chan.. what was that?" asked Inuyasha silently as he saw her fleeing form. His heart was ready to burst through his ribcage.

- Be careful Kagura-chan, he whispered to the wind before he began his own travel back to his friends.
