Kagura felt the familiar energy of Naraku's castle and she descended from the sky and landed on the courtyard. She walked inside and was met by Kanna, her pale sister.

- He wants you to come, said Kanna with her emotionless voice.

- Take me to him, answered Kagura.

Kanna nodded and showed Kagura to Naraku's room. She stopped in front of a sliding door and Kagura opened it and went inside.

- You wanted to see me master? asked Kagura and stood proud and tall.

- Where have you been? asked Naraku without looking at her.

- I was caught by the rainstorm last night and I sought shelter under a tree, I am sorry that I not was able to be here for you, she said, trying not to fear him.

Naraku turned from his place at the window and looked at his strong willed slave. His heart fluttered when he saw her flame. Something had happened and he did not like it at all. He sniffed the air and caught the scent of something dangerous.

- Did you get into a fight? he asked and got up. He was suddenly aware that he cared for her, more deeply than he would ever have guessed. Just the thought of her being hurt made him angry.

- No, I did not, said Kagura, willing her voice to be steady as a rock.

- You smell of that disgusting half-breed, he snarled and took hold of her upper right arm.

- I know.

- Did he hurt you?

Naraku could no longer hide his concern and he began sniffing her for injuries. Kagura was taken back a bit; this was not the usual behaviour of her master. She tried to move away but he held her in a strong grip. His closeness made her feel warmth pool inside her stomach. His long black hair flowed over his back and shoulders and she wanted to feel it but she kept her distance.

- Are you sure you are not hurt? asked Naraku again and looked into her eyes, red met red.

- Yes I am sure, said Kagura.

- Tell me what happened.

- You would not believe me.

- Tell me Kagura.

- It seemed like Inuyasha and his pack got separated due to the rainstorm and he ended up under the same tree as me. He shared his haori with me to shelter us from the cold rain, that what happened, said Kagura and put her nose proudly to the air.

Naraku tightened his grip, there was something in her voice when she spoke about Inuyasha that he did not like.

- Are you telling me that you to spend the night together - is that what you are telling me Kagura-chan? his voice was low and dangerous.

- Yes, but he was the perfect gentleman; he did not do anything to me. For one night we were just travellers caught in the rain. Will you hold it against me Naraku-sama; will you hold it against me that I did not fight him?

Would he? Of course he would, she was supposed to kill Inuyasha, not sleep with him. He snarled and encircled his arm around her waist and pulled her close, pushing her against the wall. He could feel the softness of her breast being crushed against his chest. He looked closely into her eyes, watching for something that told him that he should watch out, but she just returned his gaze with a fierce glare. He chuckled darkly.

- Always the feisty one ehh?

- Are you jealous Naraku-sama? That I got a friend and you don't? she asked and tried to push him away.

- Jealous? No, but what I want to know is what kind of feelings you have for him since you did not kill him for me as I have asked of you.

- Because I did not want too, it was my free night and you have told me that I can do anything during this night, and I choose not to kill him, said Kagura.

- You did not answer my question Kagura-chan, purred Naraku and leaned closer to her face. - What kind of feelings do you have for him?

Kagura's face heated up, she found her self having trouble breathing. She could not tell her master that she loved Inuyasha; he would kill her for sure. He would painfully squeeze the life out of her heart.

- Tell me Kagura!

A sharp intake of breath and she shut her eyes, hoping he would give up his tries.

- It will not work Kagura, I will get you to answer me, but your silence has already told me the answer. You are a fool Kagura; he will never love you back.

Kagura opened her eyes and she fought hard not to let the tears roll down her face. As if she did not know it. Sure he kissed her, but that did not mean anything. He probably only had eyes for that slutty girl in their group. She was just a pesky youkai, an avatar of their arch enemy, why would he ever care for her? Shit, she was crying.

- You are a fool Kagura, such a fool, said Naraku and brushed the tears away from her eyes. He could not believe it, but he felt like a really bad guy now. Crushing her dreams like this.

He wanted her to stop her tears, he hated it, he simply hated her tears. He wanted to have the strong willed wind witch back. So he kissed her.

Kagura gasped when she felt his lips gently pressed to hers. His lips were soft and she felt her body betray her once again. She opened up for his teasing tongue and she felt him enter her mouth, tasting her.

Naraku moved his hand to her lower back, pushing her hips into his. He was getting rock hard just to have her this close. "What the hell is wrong with me? I have never felt like this before? Why do I feel tingling?" He let his tongue dwell inside her mouth. He was a bit surprised that she responded to his kiss, not just responding, he could feel her arms move up around his neck, grabbing his black hair and push him closer.

He pulled away when air seemed to be needed. He looked into her eyes and was taken back by the emotions that shimmered inside the red iris. And then he got angry and pushed away, turning his back against her.

- Go to your quarters Kagura, I will call for you when I am in need of your services, he grunted.

She did not say anything, but he heard her slide the door open and left him with his confusing thoughts.

Kagura was confused too. Whatever had made him act like this.. he was almost possessive of her. His kisses had set her body on fire, just like Inuyasha's kisses had. "How the hell should a girl cope with this? Torn between to loves and feeling like a disoriented tanuki." She sighed and ventured into her own room. She laid down on the futon and she cried again. She felt everything from miserable to being a complete fool. "Yeah, his right - I am a fool." She closed her eyes and hoped that her sleep would provide with some comfort.
