Chapter 6:The Battle

Kiriu fell to the ground asleep as Inu Yasha glared at Kugra "why are you keeping her trapped in that horrible forest" "to protect her from scum like you!" Inu Yasha growled and unsheathed the tetsuiga as it transformed into its true form the great steel fang that was once Inu Yahsa's father's own fang. He charged at Kugra snarling as he ran. Kugra smirked and moved quickly dodging the slash as he jumped and knocked the Tetsuiga out of Inu Yash's hands. Kugra grabbed Inu Yasha and through him into a tree "now you will die Inu Yasha!" Kugra charges toward him ready to give the final blow when he heard a voice in his head "let Inu Yasha watch over Kiriu." He froze in his tracks muttering one word "mother…" He got out of fighting postion "fine you can protect Kiriu but if you try anything I will be back to kill you Inu Yasha got it" with that Kugra turned and ran off. Inu Yasha walked slowly over ot the tetsuiga picking it up and shething it as he then walked over to Kiriu and sat by her waiting for her to wake up. Kiriu woke up a few hours later and yawned. "Finally your awake lets get going" "huh…umm ok" she stood up. Kiriu follows behind Inu Yasha as she fixes the strap to her guitar. He glanced back at her silently till he heard some one yelling. Kiriu blinks. "What's was that?" A young girl with raven black hair streaming through the air as she ran quickly. The green skirt flaring upon her legs. Her eyes frustrated and her breath in a pant. Kiriu's ears twitched as she turned toward the noise. The girl ran up to Inu Yasha "AH! Not you again!" She moved back a few feet, nearly stumbling, he had taken her shards and nearly killed her. Kiriu blinked slowly "What the hell?! What are you running from?" Inu Yasha's claws shot out sharply as his eyes glistened. Kiriu turned toward Inu Yasha "what's going on Inu Yasha?" Just then a large demon jumped out, long crimson red teeth and long sharp claws digging into the ground, large deep growls in his voice. His eyes glowing as he noticed Kiriu, he sent his clawed hand at her quickly. Inu Yasha ran quickly, drawing the tetsuiga in the meantime. Footsteps stampeding across the floor as he ran before the clawed hand, the tetsuiga crashing before the claws, preventing of such. Kiriu listened to the battle trying to figure out what was going on "Inu Yasha what's going on?" Inu Yasha stopped and glanced to her, whipping the bit of blood off his cheek "…yes im fine." He sheathed his sword into its sheath and began walking "come on Kiriu lets go." "Ok" Kiriu quickly follows behind him. The girl began to follow when Inu Yasha stopped. "Don't follow us you only cause trouble you mortal." He growled slightly walking more. The girl paused "but…" Kiriu sighed "Inu Yasha don't be so mean." His eyes turned to look at Kiriu. "Feh. Fine" he kept walking. "You can come with us Kagome but…Don't expect me to protect you." Kagome licked her lips nervously, following behind them slowly "Okay…" She had muttered glancing to the ground as she moved quickly to catch up with them glancing a little Kiriu's white eyes.
