Chapter 14: Naraku Appears

Kiriu slowly awoke the next morning as Kugra continued to sleep. Kiriu got up and stretched as she walked out of the cave not knowing she was being watched. Inu Yasha was settled in a tree not far from the cave... seemly... he'd been watching her too... though he was silent, and nearly asleep as he noticed her walk out, but kept in hiding of his energy and scent he was worried about kiriu but he didn't want to tell her. Kiriu yawned as her ears twitched she heard water and decided to follow it. Inu Yasha slowly turned his head as he watched her..... With his hands gripped around the branch so he wouldnt make any noises with the leaves so he could move. Kiriu stopped by a small lake and sniffed the air smelling sangos blood since the others were on the other side of the lake. She decided she would ignore them she wanted no trouble from them she merly wanted to collect water for Kugra. Sango glanced over noticing Kiriu, she couldn't move at the time... laying down there calmly she glared at Kiriu having hatred for Kiriu because of what she did. Kiriu lissened to the water as she reached her claws in and caught some fish smiling a little. Kagome glanced up noticing Kiriu, she'd been sitting across the lake counting of the amount of jewel shards they had as she glared at Kiriu and stood up looking to Miroku. "Kiriu!" Kiriu put all the fish together and stood up blinking as one of the fish spits a jewel shard into her hand and she smiled. Kagome picked up her bow and arrow, stepping into the water, aiming at her quickly, she shot the arrow at Kiriu, embedding the shikon's power then noticed the jewel shard in Kiriu's hand... "A JEWEL SHARD?!" Kiriu turns to head back to Kugra when the arrow goes through her heart and she falls to the ground blood dripping from her mouth. Inu Yasha ears perked up as he jumped down running to Kiriu and stopped there bending down to look to her... then looked to Kagome. Kugra stood up, sniffing the air, blood... He growled running fast down the path and stopped there looking to Inu Yasha"....You!...... You hurt KIRIU!" He yelled out quickly, his claws starting to glow as his eyes flashed red in anger, jumping at Inu Yasha as Inu Yasha turned around, and they clashed together, with Kugra becoming firece and deadly with Inu Yasha trying to block at his best. Yami smirked "nows my chance" :she jumped down grabbing Kiriu. Before Kugra or Inu Yasha could stop her she vanished into the darkness still clutching Kiriu. "KIRIU!!!!!!!" He glanced to Kugra shoving him off, then Kugra growled "YAMI!!!!!" Kugra snarled as began running, with Inu Yasha running behind him

Yami pulled the arrow out healing kiriu as she looked toward Naraku. "I trust you like my little gift lord Naraku." A grin paces over those lips of his, long black hair wavered down his back as he walked to Kiriu. "Much..." He placed a hand to her cheek. Yami watched. "My lord what are you going to do with her" "You will see Yami once Inu Yasha arrives then you will see…."
