Chapter 5 Breaking the habit.


“ I don’t care how hot she is she needs to keep it down. I don’t care how hot she is she needs to keep it down. I don’t care how hot she is she needs to keep it down.” the mantra was repeated over and over in a certain Inu-hanyou’s home. Inuyasha stared at himself in the mirror in disbelief.

It hasn’t been 24 hours since The bombshell from next door moved in. Its only 7a.m. and already she’s causing many problems for Inuyasha. ’ I wonder what her stage name is, Tits Mcgee?’ He thought chuckling to himself, but stopped from continuing his train of thought. He isn’t normally a pervert, but he couldn’t help but have her body deeply ingrained in his mind.

She is small in statue, but with long slightly tanned legs. He was shocked at her attire because it hid nothing. The shorts that she had on were tattered and appeared painted on. They were so short that if she turned around he was quite sure he could be seeing some ass. Her red shirt that she had on was just as tight and was a bit too snug for her enormous chest. In fact she was bouncing when she was talking to him. ‘Was she wearing a bra.’ he wondered not for the first time.

She is beautify with her angelic face bright brown eyes and gorgeous body. But what stood out even more was her scent. It called to him almost bringing him to his knees the moment he first saw her. Her scent screamed that she needed him as a protector, and needed to be touched by him. He wondered if she knew what she was doing, flaunting herself around in hardly anything, but shrugged it off. ’Of course she knows, most women do.’ He thought.

It surprised him that he responded to the woman so strongly. Three of his five senses were responding to her and he wanted the last two to be acquainted. Even after all the drama and pain he had to deal with in the past, he wanted to get to know this girl.

“Kikyou” he said out loud realizing that he hadn’t thought of his ex in a while “Am I now moving on? Am I now getting over Kikyou?” he thought wondering what was going on in his mind. “ No I think it’s too soon, maybe I will talk to someone. I will just avoid her for a while. Yeah that’s it I’ll avoid her” He declared.

It was then that there was a knock on the door. ‘Well, so much for avoiding her.’ he thought to himself as he walked to the door to open it.

“Hi, neighbor! I was wondering, do you have any milk? I totally forgot to buy more milk and I want to have some to with my breakfast. I am making chocolate pancakes and I had to use whatever milk I had to make them. Do you like pancakes? It’s my favorite breakfast food to make, but I couldn’t make it when I was in school. We didn’t have a full kitchen in the dorm so I couldn’t make any. I made extra, would you like to eat some with me. I also have fruit, whipped cream, and I also made sausage links too.” She rambled on, and on, and on. It was then that he realized she may had a nervous habit of talking when, well being nervous.

Inuyasha didn’t know which question to answer first. So he just backed away from the door and let her in. He walked to his fridge and poured her a glass of milk and gave it to her. ’No she is definitely not wearing a bra. Hmm…a D cup I think.’ he thought as he watched her bounce around in his appartment. at her while she she was looking around at his living room.

“Thank you so much! Do you want to eat with me? “ she asked taking the milk and heading to the door, looking back hoping he would follow.

“So what’s your name neighbor? I can‘t keep calling you neighbor now can I?” Kagome asked as she placed his plate of food down for him all the while smiling. He stared longingly at the plate. He couldn’t remember the last time he had a cooked meal that was edible. He always opted for takeout. But the smell had his mouth watering.

“Inuyasha” He replied saying a quick prayer of thanks and digging in. ’Damn she can cook.’ he thought as swallowed his first bite. He opted to chew slower counting to 11 every time he took a bite of the chocolate breakfast, making sure he didn’t lose control and ate like a total pig in front of the girl. While he felt it would be too soon to pursue the girl, he wasn’t going to make her think that he was a total pig.

“Nice name, It suits you. I just graduated from Tokyo U and I just got a job as an assistant bookkeeper. I am so excited to meet my first new friend. Say do you know anything about computers, you see I need assistance with learning about certain applications, in order to do my new job. I am worried that I would lose my job if I don’t at least learn the basics you know. Do you know of any consignment shops? I have to buy work clothes. I know I don’t have much money left, and I want to give my job my best you know. I am sorry I have a habit of rambling when I am nervous. I’ll stop now. “ Kagome said as she shyly looked at her plate that was half eaten. She couldn’t help it he is too good looking for his own good.

Once again a long pause. She didn’t think that she talked that fast, but then again a lot of people did the same thing he did, when she talked to them. She almost gave up hope in hearing a response when he began.

“ Lets see if I can answer everything. First off congratulations on graduation, I might be able to help you with you computer questions. I am a computer tech and I work from home. I do have to start work in a few moments, how about tonight at 6:30 come over and I can show you some tricks. As for consignment shop, I know there is one walking distance. A relative of mine owns it. Do you have paper and a pen. “ he replied as he looked around for a pen and paper. When they were given to him he wrote down the address. “here it’s really easy to get to and the clothing is really reasonable. I am sorry I can‘t stay and talk some more, but I really have to go.“ He then got up said his goodbyes and left the young woman’s apartment.

When he walked into his own place He looked at his wall clock. He saw he still had 30 minutes before work, so he reached for the phone began to dial. “Hello Keade, It’s me Inuyasha, I really think I need some advice.”
