(Well that wasn’t really a lemon but eh, it will get better I promise! My twisted little mind can come up with some good stuff so no worries. Sorry I have disappeared! My job has decided ‘hey this kid doesn’t need any time off any time soon!’ It’s a nightmare. Anyway, I’m back and better than ever {even if I have to work and will probably vanish for a while… DON’T LOSE FAITH!})
Kagome was walking out of the kitchen with a tray of food for Inuyasha when Kikyo stomped by. Kagome bowed her head slightly in respect while trying to tame her laughter. The girl stopped short and glared at her. “What are you looking so happy about?” She hissed. “Nothing at all Mistress Kikyo. Monk Miroku has angered Sango is all.” Kikyo scoffed and turned away, “take the bastard his food.” She ordered. “Yes Mistress.” Kagome bowed her head again before walking towards the basement. Once Kikyo had rounded the corner Kagome all but ran down the stairs, her heart about to pound out of her chest. Kikyo was notoriously cruel, especially when she didn’t get what she wanted.
Inuyasha’s soft moan of pain made her heart skip a beat and she almost dropped the tray in her rush to reach him. She picked up the remote off a small desk hidden in the shadows and released his chains. The instant his hands were free he cupped himself and collapsed to his knees. “Inuyasha?” She sat the tray down and ran over. He looked up and smiled painfully. “What’s wrong?” She asked as she sat in front of him. His ache subsided slightly as her scent wrapped around him. “Your mistress tried to make sure I don’t have kids.” Her face turned three shades of red and she winced. “I’m sorry.” She said; embarrassed by his comment yet happy he had been so open with her.
Once sure he wasn’t seriously injured, she picked up the tray and set it in front of him. “Thanks.” He grinned warmly at her and started to eat. He looked up at her in surprise when she stood, “I’ve got a lot to do today but I’ll be back with your dinner.” He looked hurt for a second but nodded and swallowed his mouthful of eggs. “Promise.” He said as he stood; his empty stomach and the food he had been scarfing down instantly forgotten. “Only if you really want me too.” She said with a soft smile. He leaned forward and kissed her softly, sliding his hands into hers, taking her breath with the tenderness the touch offered. “Yeah, I really do.” She grinned like an idiot and nodded. “Then I’ll be back.” He ran the back of his claws down her cheek and returned her grin. “Dinner. It’s a date.” He winked as her face turned red again.
She stumbled backwards giggling at her own clumsiness before floating up the stairs in bliss. Is this love? Even the mild shot of panic that ran through her couldn’t dampen her spirit. Who cares?
