(Own nothing, yet again… for the 12th time. This seriously is getting old. BUT I don’t own it!
Sorry for vanishing, although after a while most people get used to this. I moved out on my own :D so moving is a complete pain and I just got my internet hooked up! WHOO! I’m also writing this chapter at 6:00 AM with an 8 hour shift facing me in about 5-6 hours, which doesn’t sound that bad but I just finished an 8 hour shift 4 and a half hours ago. Lol! Such is work! ONWARD!)
Kagome walked into the kitchen looking for her sister. Sango was standing at the stove glaring at the monk who had a large red handprint on his face and his hands up in surrender. “Lady Sango it’s this hand! It’s cursed!” Sango held up a frying pan and growled, “I believe that almost as much as I believe Master Naraku isn’t completely evil.” Miroku sighed and sensed Kagome standing in the doorway. “Why Lady Kagome, you are smiling!” She giggled and he looked at her sister. “Did I miss something?” He asked. Sango raised her eyebrow at Kagome. “No more than I have. Spill it Kagome.” The girl walked over and pulled them both close. “Inuyasha kissed me again and said me bringing him dinner was a date!” She whispered. Sango and Miroku shared a concerned look over Kagome’s shoulder. “That’s great Lady Kagome! Are you sure that getting involved with him would be wise though?” Miroku asked. Kagome took a deep breath and shrugged. “If I can give him comfort by being nice to him what would it hurt?”
“Kagome, you know what the master is planning with this hanyou. The closer you get the harder it will be to watch him…” Sango trailed off, the trio knowing exactly where she was heading with her comment. Kagome felt her heart break but nodded, “I know Sango, but what else can I do?”
“Don’t get too involved and don’t fall in love with him Kagome. For your own good as well as his.” Kagome looked up in shock, how did she… She’s my sister… I should be shocked she can read me like a book. She nodded instead of replying and went to vacuum.
Sango sighed as she turned back to the monk. “Why is this hanyou going to make her life more difficult?” Miroku, who watched Kagome leave with a curious expression on his face, tilted his head, “Lady Sango I’m not so sure this will make things more difficult… I wonder…” He backed away and rubbed his chin in thought. “I need to consult someone. If the master asks where I am tell him we ran out of something, eggs, bacon, I don’t care. I will return before lunch.” He leaned over and gave her a quick peck on the cheek before leaving in a hurry.
Sango rubbed the burning spot where his lips had touched her cheek and smiled. I think that monk will be the death of me. She giggled at her own joke as she moved all the breakfast dishes to the sink to wash them.
