Inuyasha exited the chemistry classroom and made his way toward Kagome's locker. He knew it was going to be awhile until she got there because Advanced Computers was all the way on the other side of the school. He was starting to waste his patience when suddenly he saw Kagome heading around the corner shock written all over her face. Inuyasha sat there puzzled until Koga rounded the corner looking for Kagome.

Koga took one look at Inuyasha then simply turned around and left. "Huh so he's more of a wimp after all" Kagome looked up at Inuyasha thankfully then opened her locker, collected her stuff and they started on the way home.

Inuyasha looked at her tentatively, watching her every move as she took some pictures of the few scenic places Tokyo had to offer. Suddenly out of the blue ran ahead of him, and turned around to take another picture of him. He didn't mind of course, he actually enjoyed the attention given from Kagome. But that doesn't mean he cooperated. Every time she tried to take a picture of him, he would try and look away until Kagome caught his attention again.

Finally feeling satisfied at the amount of pictures she had collected she turned toward Inuyasha and smiled. "Thank you for walking me home." She thanked sweetly. Inuyasha just looked at her, then in the distance and he muttered, "Feh"

Their walk progressed until they finally made their way to Kagome's House. She kindly thanked Inuyasha again. And quickly ran into her house.

Inuyasha continued his walk to his foster house. But before he could reach his house Miroku stopped him. "What were you waiting for me to get here?" Inuyasha questioned defensively making his way over to Miroku.

Miroku slapped a grin on his face and added, "So what if I was you promised to help me buy stuff today." Inuyasha had nearly forgotten about that. He was supposed to go down to the Tokyo business district and help him buy stuff for his party that he was having. It wasn't actually a party it was more of a small get-together. It was attentended for Miroku's girlfriend Kodia, but the two broke up weeks before the first day of school.

Instead of canceling to party Miroku decided to invite Kagome and Sango. Actually he wanted to just invite Sango, but he knew that she wouldn't come without Kagome. Inuyasha sighed as he made his way into the living room. As usually his "Mother and father" were off on a business trip somewhere leaving Inuyasha at home to his own devices. Not that he minded he didn't really like them in the first place but he found them tolerable.

He sat down on the couch and scowled at Miroku who just innocently grinned back. Inuyasha had no way out of it. After all he had `promised' giving up Inuyasha finally made his way into his room to drop off his stuff and grab his savings. He made his way down stairs for him and Miroku to set off on their little `adventure'. Feh

Miroku and Inuyasha had actually made it to the business district of Tokyo, and actually to their surprise in one peace! (Inuyasha dared Miroku to jump in front of a slow passing car and when Miroku complied the car nearly sped up, much to Miroku's worries.

But here they were in the business district finding anything they could possible think of them needing. Of course the first thing they did was ordered food. They didn't need it at that moment, the next thing they took care of was so prerented DVD's they only rented three knowing that they wouldn't be watching movies ALL night long. Then lastly the bought a few CD's so then they would have some music to listen too. After their shopping seemed just about completed they made their way to exit.

As the two made their way out of the media store Inuyasha was lost in thought. "When is Miroku going to have his damned party? He wanted to get it over with already and move on with his life. But then again, Kagome came to his mind once again. She just seemed so carefree all the time. Defiantly not like Kikyou. Inuyasha was abruptly pulled away from his thoughts when he heard a woman screaming. Was it just his imagination? I looked over to Miroku his face full of alert.

Was it just his imagination, or did it sound like Kagome?

They followed the sound of the scream into a dark alleyway straight ahead of them was a man holding a struggling girl against the wall. Her top half almost completely exposed. Wait a minute, Inuyasha had seen him somewhere before! He just couldn't put his finger on it. It didn't matter! He had to help the girl.

"Please leave me alone…" he heard her whimper. It was indeed Kagome. Suddenly a gush of rage flowed through him and he dashed forward and kicked the man in the back of the head, knocking him out. Kagome pried her hands away from her face and notice Miroku standing in front of her. She quickly ran over and embraced him sobbing uncontrollably as he tried to get to his cell phone to call the police. Kagome then noticed Inuyasha and Miroku handed her to him.

Kagome fell into his arms and he held onto her tightly. No! How could this have happened to Kagome? Why did that scumbag have to chose Kagome? She broke into sobs yet again and buried her head into his hair and began to cry. Inuyasha held on to her even more tightly. He instinctively started rocking back and forth comforting her. He would never let go, he didn't want to see her cry. He would hold her until she calmed down and she was away from harm.
