InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Training ❯ Questions ( Chapter 6 )

Gomen ne, this is an insanly short one. I have been rather busy but I did revise the orginal chapter 6 (now chapter 7) so you will want to read it as well.

(This is about a week or so after the children have fully recovered from the poison Kikyou dealt them)

"Kagome? May I speak with you for a moment?" A silky smooth voice called, cutting the silence. The said girl rose carefully, making sure she didn't wake the children.

The two walked out into the gardens and Sesshoumaru sat on a bench, pulling Kagome into his lap, in between a beautiful fountain, and a large sakura tree.

They sat in silence for a while, just enjoying the night and each others presence until Kagome's curiousity got the better of her. "Sesshoumaru, why did you call me out here?'

He sighed and wrapped his arms tighter around her. "I called you out because I need to ask you something."

"What is it Sesshoumaru?"

"As you know, my lands are experiencing turmoil at the present time. I have not done anything about it until one of my spys reported back to me that the youkai were plotting against me. I must go but I have no one to guard my castle in my absence at this present time. I wished to ask you if you would take the role as Lady of the West and guard the castle while I am away."

"Of course Sesshoumaru but this isn't what you called me out here for is it?"

"You know me too well. I brought you out here to ask you..." Just then a crash sounded from the castle and the two raced inside to find...

Dun Dun Duh! Haha, review if you want to know what happened. If not, then I'll stop this story.
