Chapter 6: Inuyasha's stupid (totally unlike him right? Hehe) move

Last time:"You know me too well. I brought you out here to ask you..." Just then a crash sounded from the castle and the two raced inside to find...

Rin and Shippo pillow fighting. (haha, you thought it was something bad didnt you?). The children suddenly attacked their 'parents' with the pillows and the game was on.

Kagome's POV

After spending a week trying to keep Sesshoumaru from attacking me when I'm bathing or sleeping had put my nerves on end. `He says to always expect the unexpected…I think he just wants a good look…as if.' I thought as I walked toward Rin and Shippo.

***

"Kagome, I will depart now."

"Hai, I will take care of the castle to my best extent in your absence."

"You will do fine." He spoke as he turned to leave.

"Otou-san! Were you going to leave without saying goodbye?"

"No. I knew you would come to see me off. I must be on my way now. Be good for Kagome." Were his parting words.

Meanwhile…

"Damn bitch. Who does she think she is?" Inuyasha grouched as he took his anger out on the surrounding trees.

"Master Inuyasha. I may be of some help." A small voice said.

"What is it you damn flea?"

"I have heard that Kouga of the wolves has also had trouble with Lord Sesshoumaru. Maybe you could team up."

"You don't think I can defeat him do you?"

"I believed you had a chance when it was just him but now he has Kagome on his side."

"…"

"Master? Do you think this alliance would work?"

"I don't know. I will go see mutt-face."

At Kouga's den

"Kouga? What will you do with Sesshoumaru?"

"Kill him and get Kagome of course." He stated cockily.

"Nee-san won't like that idea."

"It matters not. Her views will change after she becomes my mate."

"You just keep thinking that wolf." A rough voice called from the entrance of the den.

"What are you doing here dog turd?"

"I have come to propose a temporary alliance."

"Why?"

"I wish to defeat my brother and get Kagome away from him."

"Ha. I can take Sesshoumaru."

"I doubt that."

"I just don't like my brother and you want Kagome so an alliance seems like the best option."

"Done. I, Kouga, Lord of the Wolves of the Northern Lands, agree to a temporary alliance with Inuyasha, second son to the late Lord of theWestern Lands."

"And I, Inuyasha, second son to the late Lord of the Western Lands, accept the agreement of a temporary alliance with Kouga, Lord of the Wolves of the Northern Lands."

Hmmm…should I leave it here?...

Nah that would be mean.

The two allies race toward the castle.

***

"Someone's coming."

"I know, it is the mutt and Kouga of the wolves."

"Then let's go meet them."

"Hai. I will, you will stay behind and guard Rin. Something tells me this will be bloody."

We ran toward the front gates. As soon as we were out of the gates, the mutt and Kouga arrived.

"Kagome." "My mate."

"What do you want half-breed?" "I am not your mate Kouga."

"We have come to take Kagome back."

"I won't go with you."

"Shut up woman."

"I will not." I exclaimed as I collected my powers.

`Let the battle commence. Now, let's do this.'

Kagome started toward the two and the battle began. (Later…I'm too lazy to describe the actual battle) Kagome delivered the finishing blow with perfection . Kouga and Inuyasha were unconscious after the teamed final attack. Inuyasha had a hole in his stomach where Kagome had stuck her hand through him (does anyone ever notice how often that happens? I'm surprised he still lives) and quite a few deep flesh wounds. Kouga was worse. He was missing a good portion of his tail, his shikon shards were now in Kagome's possession, and he had quite a few to-the-bone cuts.

"Hopefully you have learned your lesson."

'Somehow I doubt that. Somehow I doubt that.'

Well, give me your response. I did this one off the top of my head.
