A/N: This story is several years old, I wrote it back in High School, when Inuyasha first came out. Please don't hold it against me that there will be mistakes, I will however, if addressed with these mistakes fix them ASAP.

After a few years she got sick of the constant comparisons to Kikyo, and all the put downs and broken promises. She thought that she had loved him, she really did. However, if she loved him then what was this feeling with the person that she was with now?

She had decided to go for a walk that evening. She left the group at the camp that they had setup for the evening. All she wanted to do was be alone. However when she got a river, and sat down she felt as if something or someone was watching her. She never looked up from the river as she spoke.

“Sesshoumaru?”

“…” She stood there and watched as she fidgeted under the heavy glare that was directed at her. “Why are you alone wench, and where is the half-breed? Surely he wouldn't leave his bitch to wander without him.” He inwardly smirked as he said that. He knew that it would get to her. What he did not expect; however, was the answer with which he received.

She gazed coolly in the direction of the Daiyoukai standing across the river from her. “I am not his, and if you want him then you can find him yourself.” She stood and started to walk away, but soon found herself pinned to a tree by his hand around her throat.

He was patrolling his lands, alone this time. He had left Rin with Jaken back at the castle. He was running while searching for anything that would be a danger to his lands, and his people.

Then he smelled something that did not belong in the Western Lands. He followed the scent of his half-brothers bitch. He stopped before coming out to stand before her, watching her as she sat down on the rivers' edge. `Stupid human don't you know that you shouldn't be out in the forest alone… Wait. Why do I care?'

 

A/N: ok that's the prologue, The chapters should get longer but I haven't finished this story I have maybe idk 30 pages written out so far… I didn't know where I wanted it to go. Lol I'm hoping that by posting it to the point that I have it, Someone might give me a guiding hand and lead me in some direction. Any advice, or comments would be greatly appreciated. However, Flames are not welcome, If you don't like it then don't read it. That's how I feel.
