Chapter 9: more revealed

The gang is still at the restaurant in the mall~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`

"Hey guys, you think we forgetting something or someone?" Yusuke questioned the yu yu gang.

"Ya, it feels like we are forgetting something or someone…. But who?" Botan replied as kagome ordered food through the waiter.

"Hmm….?"

Silence stretched throughout the group as they thought hard on what have they forgotten. The only sound is the girls ordering food.

The silence continued even after the foods were served. Yusuke was playing with his bowl of noodles thinking on what he had forgotten, when suddenly he exclaimed.

"OH YA! We forgotten about that toddler!" with that he slurped down his noodles happily.

"That's right! Yusuke, you were supposed to inform Koenma when you found her. How could you have forgotten about it?"

"I dun see you remembering, Botan." Retorted a noodle filled mouth Yusuke.

"YUS KUN, eat properly!"

"Sorry, Kag." As he straightens himself up and ate more slowly.

They must be very close. Was what everyone was thinking for her to get him to listen.

"So, im meeting who again?"

"You were supposed to meet Yusuke's boss, Koenma. He's the prince of reikai."

"Oh, why do I need to see him?" as she poked a cubed pork into her mouth.

"Hn, no idea"

"Well, Yus kun aren't you going to inform him that you found mi? He must be worried."

"Whatever, who cares"

"Yus kun…."

"Okay, okay." As he took out the communicator and contacted Koenma.

"Yusuke Uremashi! Where the hell were you, have you found her?"

"Stop your whining, toddler."

"Wa…. WHAT im no toddler."

"Oh, Koenma sama, we found her. She says that she will go meet you later."

"Great, I will be waiting." Cutting of the communication, they continued to eat the fine spread that the girls have ordered.

"Botan, did you tell him how much later is later?"

"Oh dear, I forgot. Well never mind. He can wait."

"Ok, let's eat!" passing Hiei a plate of rice.

Next day at school~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"KAGOME! When did your hair turn red?!"

"What cha mean? It had always been red and blue."

"No, it isn't! Yesterday it was only a couple streaks of blue and now more blue and a couple of red."

"Maa, Yusuke, she already had red and blue yesterday. You must have missed it."

"No I DID NO…. KEIKO! Your hair!"

"What's wrong with my hair?"

"N…. nothing. It just that…. Are u sure u wanna risk getting reprimanded by the teach?"

"There's nothing wrong with it, like Kagome says. It doesn't affect the brain from thinking."

"Kag, you have influenced her too much."

"Why, is THAT a bad thing?" innocently replied by you know who.

Kurama POV

Im positive she did not have red yesterday.

# Of course, we are sure. #

`How can we not, when you made us watch her rear yesterday'

`Im not going to argue with you early in the morning'

"Hiei, I need to talk to you."

`You do noticed that she did not have red hair yesterday, din't you?'

`So any idea why her eyes changes color?'

`You think the `she' is that Kimiko person, Koenma was talking about? Like mi and Youko sharing a body?'

`Shut up' tying and gagging Youko and throwing him into the pool.

"What cha thinking about" waved a hand in front of mi? I grabbed the hand and noticed that it belongs to Kagome.

"Nothing."

"Oh well, let's get to class."

"Okay" never letting go of her hand, she din't seems to mind.

"You never did tell mi, how you came about with a kitsune spirit in your body."

"Long story…. You see…."

"Oh. That's nice to have someone talking with you all the time."

"But it gets annoying."

"Here, we are." I missed the warmth of her hand when she went to open the door to the classroom. We took a sit with Hiei glaring at me all the way to the seats. Keiko also joined us at the back.

"Class. We have a new student joining us. Please introduce yourselves.

A guy with reddish purple hair and purple, light purple shaded eyes stepped forward. (Looks like dark in the D.N angel)

"My name is Yume, it's a pleasure to meet all of you." A silky voice rang through the room. Once again comments about the handsome new student spread around the room. I was positive that he is going to have his own fan club by the end of the day. Who is he looking at? I followed his glance and saw that it was directed at Kagome. Kagome had stopped talking with Keiko and had a dazed look on her.

Kagome POV

^It's HIM! ^

`Who?'

^ HIM! He changed his appearance a bit. But I noe its him. I can't believe he's HERE! ^

` WHO is he?'

Before I could ask anything out of her, the teacher shouted Keiko's name loudly. Shaking mi out of the interaction.

I turned my attention to the teacher and Keiko. As expected, the teacher was asking about Keiko's hair.

"Well, I see nothing wrong. Its color is not affecting my brain from learning and thinking."

"W…what! You have been hanging out too long with Uremashi." The surprised teacher reprimanded.

"Hey I resent that!"

"Whatever, you brought two good students over to the bad side with your influence. Dun noe what they see in you." Pointing at me when he said that.

I snorted while the rest of the Yu Yu gang laughed, well Hiei smirked and Kurama chuckled.

"What is so funny? Have you all lost your mind? Minamino, I thought you are sensible enough to choose who you hang out with. And the two new students I advice you to stay away from the troublemaker."

"Well, Mr. toki. The troublemaker happens to be my beloved cousin."

"Kag, I resent that troublemaker comment."

"Ya whatever. I still love you."

"Yes, Mr. Toki I am sure I chose the right company for friends."

"Oh, yeah and Hiei knows hangs around with Yusuke way before coming to this school."

"Hn, I dun hang around with him."

"Ya, and I believe you truly."

Hiei growled at mi, and I just smirked at him. While the rest burst into another round of laughter after looking at the teacher's face. I think I shocked the rest of the students with that `I am Yusuke's cousin' sentence.

"You…you are Yusuke's cousin?"

"Ya, why is IT that hard to believe?"

Mr. toki just nodded his head dumbfound.

"Yus kun, what did you do to them? That they find it so hard to accept the fact that im your cousin?"

"I DIDN'T do anything."

"Well?"

"Its just that. Yusuke is so…. So while you are so polite and dun look like the type to get into trouble."

"HEY! WHAT WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?! "

"Well, the fun is only the beginning." The teacher just stared at mi with jaws agape at that comment. I just smiled at him, and he blushed. EWWW! Perverted teacher!

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU BLUSHING AT MY COUSIN?"

"CLASS DISMISSED!" and with that he ran out of the room.

I couldn't help but burst out laughing shortly followed by the rest. This is such a good way to start a day. ` Oh great! Kimiko is really rubbing off mi!'

`So who's he? You never did answer mi.'

^ JUST dun get near him for the time being…. ^

"Why?"

I din't realized that I said that out loud.

"Why what?" Kurama questioned. And Keiko came to my rescue.

" You mean, WHY the teacher blushed? You are a dense one, Kagome."

"Ya why?" catching her drift.

"I think he's interested in you."

"That's DISGUSTING!"

"Ya, I noe. What ya going to do after school?"

"Dun noe? See if I survive the lessons first."

"Huh?"

"I mean math lesson…. I totally stink there."

"Ill help you with tuition."

"Thanks a lot."

Kurama POV

I caught her eye looking at that guy, Yume, while saying the survive comment. That Yume guy is also looking at Kagome. What's going on?

#He's going to steal her #

[First it's Hiei and now you say this Yume guy is stealing her…. Make up your mind. ]

#…. Shut up#

`Both of you shut up, I need to think.'

[Thinking of what?]

` Why she suddenly said `why' out loud.'

[Maybe she's toking to another person in her, like us?]

`Maybe…. we need to get her to Koenma to clarify things.'

# Ask Yusuke to bring her there after school. #

`Okay, finally something worth listening from you.'

Lunchtime~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

They were under the sakura trees eating. Kagome agreed to go see Koenma after school.

Yume approached them with a group of girls behind him. They were currently having an argument about who's better, Suichi or Yume.

"Kagome, can I talk to you?"

"Ya…."

"Alone?"

"Fine…. I guess."

He led Kagome away from the gang.

"What…. is it?"

"Are you afraid of mi?"

"No, why you say that?"

"Because you should be afraid of mi."

"You call mi here to threaten mi?" a light purple color surfaced Kagome's blue eyes.

"Of course not. Here. Think about it."

"Think about WHAT?"

He just smiled seductively at her and left.

` What was that about? Kimiko?'

^ The answers can only be revealed when I get my power back…. Dun worry ill settle whatever he suggests…. ^

`If you say so.' Walking back to the Yu Yu gang.

"What did he want with you?" Hiei asked.

"He gave mi this…." Opening her palm to show a crystal quartz sitting there.

"Why he gave you that?" Keiko asked.

"Maybe a love token?" Kuwabara added in, and then he was sent flying across the field by Hiei's and surprisingly the usual calm Kurama's punches.

"Hn!"

Kurama was looking at Hiei, annoying the others questioning glances. Kagome was still observing the crystal quartz, trying to figure out something.

During history

Kagome fall into her memory lane again.

Kagome POV

`Ok, where am I?' looking around at the vast green forest.

`Kimiko?'

Silence and then suddenly crashes could be heard and soon a figure crashed into the clearing to where I am standing. The figure whipped its head up to observe its surroundings and I saw its face.

It was Kimiko. I mean the young Kimiko. She looks older from the first time when I saw her. Kimiko hastily stood up and ran to her left side. I decided to follow her, as I was following her, I saw that she had numerous slashes that look very deep on her back. There were cuts along her legs and arms too. Her hair was matted with blood and mud. What the heck happened?

I stopped when she suddenly leapt into the air. From her shadow, an arm shot up and swiped at her. It missed her and from the ground emerged a creature. I have never seen a youkai like that. The creature had the body of a nude woman, her below from the hip down is the body of a leopard and its tail is the tail of a dragon. The creature look so beautiful and vicious at the same time.

The creature started to chant in an odd language, her hands glowed and out shot fireballs. I saw Kimiko creating a barrier to stop the attacks but she was not fast enough to avoid the assault from behind. She was slashed at her hips. Blood was spilling, but she did not even cry out in pain. She looked impassive, stood her ground and attacked the creature. After a few moments, she killed it with her sword that she had summoned.

Using the sword, she trekked back to where she came from. I followed. I was shocked there were heaps of dead bodies of creatures similar to that one just now. This must be the whole pack, I could smell, and even taste the metallic taste of the blood. I feel like throwing out. Kimiko just stood at the center of the pile of corpses, searching for something. In the end, she reached out into the body of one of the dismember pile and retrieved a gem out.

She took the gem and walked away. I saw her eyes glow and the next moment, the piles of corpse were burnt to ashes. Carried away by the wind.

I saw the scene change. Kimiko was still in her state of injuries but she was standing in front of a man, surrounded by many others in black cloaks. I could not make out the face of the man, Kimiko gave him the gem she had retrieved. The man took the gem. Suddenly, the wind blew stronger and fiercer. The cloaked men placed their hands up, palms facing Kimiko. The next moment, the floor she was standing on glowed green in a circle. The light engulfed her, a heart-shattering scream rang through the air, and Kimiko was hugging herself tightly as she fell to the ground. I could feel myself falling to my knees, feeling a part of the pain she's going through.

Blood spurted out of her, like they were forced out of her. Her hair whipped around her trembling form. What is happening? A woman was thrown to the ground in front of Kimiko. The woman like the man I can't see her face, she was reaching out her hand to Kimiko. Kimiko reached out her hand to grab hers, but was restrained by the power forced out of her. She was screaming something to the man. But I could hear nothing. The next moment I saw a dragon like thing escape from the body of Kimiko and attacked the woman. At that moment I heard her screamed " NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

As the lights died off, Kimiko was lying on the ground, seemingly unable to move. She reached out her trembling hand to touch the woman in front of her. The woman did not move. Her whole body was charred, deep cuts everywhere, but she was still breathing slightly. I could feel tears running down my face. Kimiko was about to touch her hand when the man took the woman away from her reach. He instructed the others to take Kimiko away. She tried to fight back but was knocked unconscious by the man.

` What is this? KIMIKO answer mi!'

^ A memory of mine…. ^

` Who was that man and woman?'

^. ….^

`KIMIKO!!!!'

I felt that someone was shaking mi. I woke up to find Kurama shaking mi. the others were looking at mi with worry. I then realized that I had really cried in reality.

"Its nothing…. Something got into my eye."

They did not seems to believe mi. Keiko decided to save mi again by dragging mi out of the classroom. Classes have already ended.

At the gate~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hiei POV

Why did she cry? Its that guy again that gave her the crystal quartz.

"Kagome…."

"What you want?"

"I just wanted you to know that no matter how long you take, I will always wait for your answer."

"…"

What are they talking about? That guy turned around and started to leave. That's when I heard the second voice of Kagome again. She had her head downcast, but im sure her eyes must have turned amethyst again. I looked at Kurama, to see him watching the interaction between Yume and Kagome intently.

"Why waste time? I think you already know my answer to whatever you are asking."

"I know…. But I can be very persuasive too." He answered without turning back, and continued his walk away from the school.

I really dun like the tone of his voice.

"So let's go meet the Koenma guy you were talking about"

"Sure, are you sure you are aright?"

"Sure, if he upset mi or anything, im sure you can beat him up."

"You bet!" Botan opened a portal to the reikai.

At Koenma's place~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU PEOPLE?!!!!!! DO YOU KNOW THAT I WAITED HERE FOR A NIGHT AND A DAY?!!!!!!!!"

"What's the difference, toddler. You have always been here."

"I missed an appointment with the noodles palace and Im not a toddler!"

"Ya…. Whatever!"

"So he's the guy you people talking about?"

"Hn." I noticed a glint of sadness in her usual cheerful eyes.

"You wanna see mi, Koenma sama?"

"Yeah…. WHAT THE HELL! YOU CHANGED THAT MUCH ALREADY!!!!!!"

"What you mean?"

"IM DOOMED! MY FATHER IS GOING TO KILL MI. HOW COULD YOU HAVE CHANGED SO FAST, YOU WEREN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO CHANGE UNTIL LATER! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KILL YOU NOW!

"WHAT!!!!!" exclaimed everyone.

"OPPS…. Shouldn't have said that." Trying desperately to scoot away from the glaring gang.
