Chapter 19: finally found

A week later after all the incidents.

At Koenma's Office~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Koenma POV

What is wrong with the both of them? If they go out like this, they will never get the spear of white back.

"Here, I received news that the spear of white is now at a warehouse in the ningenkai. So I need you all to go and retrieve it back. Of course, to remind all of you again, youkai can not touch the spear so, Kuwabara will be the only one who is able to hold it."

"Hn, you sure the fox won't steal it."

"Im not like someone I know who steals things that are not theirs'"

They glared hostilely at each other, promising death. I have never seen Kurama so mad before. It seems to be directed to Hiei. What did Hiei do to get Kurama so heated up?

"Okay, break it up! What's WRONG with the both of you?!"

"Stay out of this, ningen."

"Yusuke, you should stay out of this."

Both of them taking out their weapons, ready to fight it all out.

"Kurama!" all turned to see Kimiko stepping out of a portal. She latched onto Kurama when she saw him. The most curious part was that she hid behind him telling him to get Hiei out of the room. But Hiei was already gone when we turned to face him.

"What game are you playing at?" Kurama said giving her a betrayed look.

"Its Hiei, he took Shippo and threatened mi. He said if I dun break with you he will hurt Shippo." She cried out with tears unshed.

"Let's save the child." Kuwabara fisted a fist in the air. Showing his poses to Kimiko.

"But Keiko said…."

"I had no choice. Will you forgive mi?"

Kurama nodded his head and hugged Kimiko.

"So, what are we waiting for? Let's get Hiei!" exclaimed Yusuke.

"That's nice and all but, WHAT ABOUT THE SPEAR!"

"Toddler, saving Shippo is my priority because he's family." With that, the Gang left to find Hiei.

With Hiei~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I arrived at Genkai's temple. Genkai was away for something. I went to the room where the kit was sleeping. He has been sleeping since that day. Did he just stirred?

"DUN HURT MY MOMMY!" he shot up shouting.

"Your mum is not here, kit."

Scanning the room, when his eyes fall on mi, he bounced and latched onto my chest.

"OF COURSE, SHE ISN'T HERE! THEY MADE HER DISAPPEARED! THEY SENT HER AWAY!"

At the federal era~~~~~~~

With Inuyasha and gang.

"The jewel shards are over that direction."

Inuyasha did not move.

"What's wrong?" Miroku asked.

"That's the western castle."

"Where Sesshoumaru Sama live?"

"SAMA, my foot."

"Are we going in there to get the shards?" Sango questioned.

"Feh, of course!" They started for the western castle.

Inside the Western castle~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mirai took three days to be conscious again. Sesshoumaru did not tell her that he suspects that the bracelets she is wearing may be the cause of her losing her memories. He decided not to train her, since she is already very strong. She need not be taught manners, because she knew what to do when certain occasions required them. She was perfect. The only weakness is that she doesn't know who she is. She seldom smiles.

Sesshoumaru POV

I saw her smile once. I know not when, but I wanted her to always smile. And I would do anything to make her smile. Rin loves to play with her, she has great ways with children, and even Jakken likes her.

The ball is coming tomorrow. The other lords are holding this useless ball for mi ever since I became of age to take a mate. This ball was to choose a mate for mi. I have to make arrangement for Rin tomorrow; the other lords will be here early morning.

`What about Mirai?'

What! Who are you?

`Your subconscious! Are you going to let her go to the ball? If she becomes your mate, then you won't have this type of ball anymore. And you can get all those, heavily perfumed and makeup freaks out of your hair forever.'

That's not a bad idea at all.

With Kurama~~~~~~~~~~~~~

At Kimiko's place.

"Shouldn't we be looking for Hiei?"

"Why the rush?" pushing mi to the bed.

"Because he has Shippo?"

"So what?" taking off her clothes and climbing on top of a fully- dressed Kurama.

She leaned in to kiss him when he pushed her off of him.

"Stay away from mi!" and he walked out of the door.

With Yusuke

"Yusuke."

"Who did this to you?" looking at a badly beaten Keiko with tattered clothes.

"…. Hiei did it."

"He did it!"

"Yusuke! He…. he…. he. Do you think im pregnant?" hugging Keiko tight to him, he promised that if she is with a child he would treat the child as his.

With Kuwabara~~~~~~~~~~~

Genkai's temple.

"Shrimp! What are you doing here? You took the kit. Im going to kill you." Summoning his spirit sword.

"Hn. Baka!"

A scream cut them off from this fight.

"YUKINA!" rushing to the scream to see Kurama there with a sword made of a blade of grass. Yukina was on the ground with wounds.

"KURAMA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"Easy. Hiei takes what is mine, his sister will suffer the cause." Then he was gone. Hiei's eyes were bleeding red.

Yume POV

The plan is working perfectly well. All of them are against themselves. I can watch a good show and it will also buy mi time to break the seal of the spear. I opened a portal to Kimiko's place.

She was on the floor, her clothes by the side.

"What are you sitting on the floor?"

"Waiting for you…." She said in a seductive voice. Climbing from her position on the floor to my lap. Rubbing her body on mine. Removing the disturbing barrier between us. Naked flesh met naked flesh.

A day later at Reikai~~~~~~~~~~~

The gang was once again called to the office of Koenma. The tension was very great; the other occupants of the room find it hard to breathe.

Yusuke is glaring at Hiei, while Kuwabara is glaring at Kurama. Both Kurama and Hiei were glaring at each other. Kimiko was by the side, looking all innocent and smiling.

Koenma POV

Okay, this is too much. All of them basically hate each other right now. You can see the hatred burning in their eyes. What the hell happened?

"What happened between them?" I whispered to Botan who looked just as confused as mi. This is not a good time to be going after each other's throats. I received news that they have found a way to break the seal to the spear.

"What happened? I WILL TELL YOU WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NOW!!!" Yusuke exclaimed and send his fist flying to Hiei. Who in return ducked and engaged in a fight with Yusuke. Kuwabara charged at Kurama with his spirit sword, who just dodged gracefully. A fight between the reikai tentai ensued.

I looked on with horror as the fight got fiercer and fiercer. Botan was trying to get them to stop. Kimiko was standing there, smiling. Smiling? Why isn't she stopping them like a mate should do?

"Enough! Enough! This isn't a time for you to go against each other."

I was thrown off my sentence when Yusuke came crashing towards mi.

"Not AFTER WHAT HIEI DID TO KEIKO!"

"HN, I did not touch her."

"Doesn't matter because im going to kill you! SPIRIT GUN!"

This was going out of control, the room was totally trashed. Finding the space too small, they took it outside. Botan, and I went outside to stop them fight. Kimiko is watching.

Once outside the office, Hiei and Kurama went for each other's throats. Both parties managed to get each other injured. They were locked in a sword fight when both disappeared. They were too fast; I wasn't able to follow them. What the? I could feel the others' shock and surprise. Kurama had stabbed Kimiko; Hiei has his sword by her neck. The weird part was that, she had no blood bleeding out of her wound.

"Wrench, where is Kimiko." pushing the blade neared to her neck, a fine line of red appeared.

"What are you talking about, I AM Kimiko."

"You are lying. You may look like her, be like her. But you are not her. Where is she?"

"She is right here, I am HER!"

"Hn." Stabbing his blade into her hand. She did not even flinch. She only glared at him.

"What is going on?" a confused Kuwabara asked.

"She is not Kimiko. She is an imposter, and a very good one at that."

"Then how could you tell that she is a fake?" Yusuke asked.

"A fake will always be a fake. It can never replace the real one." Hiei answered.

"Exactly my point."

"How can you be so sure? What if you miskill mi?"

"I won't." Kurama form shimmered to reveal Youko. Drawing a claw down her face to her neck.

"You do not wear her necklace."

"I lost it."

"Hn, if Kimiko lost her necklace, she will be destroying the whole world to find it back."

"This doesn't prove anything!" Kimiko hissed.

"You are definitely not my mommy! I saw her disappear before I fainted!" Shippo appearing from behind a tree.

"Brat!"

"That just further prove you are not her. Where is she?" slashing her across the chest.

"You should stop that before she dies." A soft yet cold voice said. They turned to see Keiko.

"Keiko, what are you doing here?" Yusuke started to approach her.

"Open your eyes and judge properly." She shimmered and there stood before them is a lady with white hair along with blue highlights. Her cold dull green eyes looking back at them.

"Why should we?" Hiei charged at her, but was thrown back by a barrier. Frost started to form on the trees, the trees started to wither.

"Because, even though she is not the real one, she is a part of her. The pain she feels is transferred to the real Kimiko."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"This Kimiko is a part of the real Kimiko. With his power, she is bornt from Kimiko's shadow, with all her memories, and with my powers she has the exact same reflection of the real one, a duplicate with the power of the real Kimiko. Of course, she only listens to him."

"Why are you telling us this?" Botan asked.

"Im sick of him being so desperate. Since he can't have the real Kimiko, he makes do with the duplicate of her."

"You are just jealous." Retorted Kimiko.

"And so what if I am?" with a swipe of her hand in the air she managed to cut off Kimiko's head. She turned to leave.

"Wait! Tell us where is the real Kimiko."

"No point finding her, even if you see her, you won't recognize her."

"Tell us where she is, wrench."

"Federal era, western lands." And she disappeared.

"Can we trust her? What do you think, Koenma Sama?"

"So whatever happened is fake!" exclaiming a furious Yusuke.

"Yes, we were all fooled." Changing back to Kurama.

"What do you say, should we follow what she says, Hiei?"

"Hn."

"Will mommy be okay?"

"Wait, what did she mean that we won't recognize her?" Yusuke asked, stopping everyone in their tracks from entering the portal.

"I know, I know. I caught a glimpse before I fainted."

At the federal era~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sesshoumaru POV

The lords are arriving soon. I was talking to Mirai went she fell to her knees; I caught her before she could fall to the ground. She was in pain; I could smell the pain from her. She was clutching her heart. I heard a crack sound. And looked to see one of the bracelets cracking into pieces. She screamed in pain and fainted. I carried her in my arms and rushed to the nearest bedroom, which was mine. Placed her on the bed and called for the healers. Jakken and Rin came running in after.

I told Jakken to attend to the lords, as I am staying here along with Rin by her side till she wakes up. Is she going to remember who she is? Her bracelet broke.

With Yusuke and gang~~~~~~~~~~

Yusuke POV

Guess where we landed in the federal era. In front of the mutt and his clay pot making out. My beautiful day is ruined with disgusting images. YUCK!

We found Sango and Miroku; they looked quite pleased to see us.

"Where is Lady Kimiko?"

"She isn't with us at the moment, we are here to look for her." Kurama replied politely.

"What happened?" Sango asked frantically.

"Feh properly got herself killed."

The next moment he was pinned to the tree with a sword drawn at his throat by Hiei.

"Say that again, you will be diced."

"Feh!" pushing Hiei off.

"Where are we?" I asked looking around the place.

"Near the western castle where Sesshoumaru lived."

"Feh, maybe she got murdered by him, since she is so arrogant."

We had enough and were about to lash out at him when another figure in black beat us to it. At first I thought it was Hiei, but it was a female with nice curves. Okay, bad Yusuke.

Western castle a moment before~~~~~~~~~~

Sesshoumaru POV

Mirai woke up but she look and feel different. Rin sat beside her on the bed. She lashed an arm and grabbed her by the neck. She threw her out the window. I leaped out of the window to catch Rin. She sped pass me and jumped out of my castle. I placed Rin in the hands of the healers promising death if she is not well when I returned. I left going after Mirai.

I followed her scent and found her strangling my hanyou brother. The gang from before at the southern lord home is also there. I dun see Kimiko.

Back to the Strangling part~~~~~~~~~~

The gang stood there dumbfounded when a kitsune appeared out of nowhere and strangled Inuyasha. Another white blur appeared and confronted her.

Kurama POV

The white figure is the western lord, Sesshoumaru. He grabbed the kitsune's hand and jerked her away from Inuyasha. She slashed out at him, and he dropped his grip.

"I dun need your help!"

"Who says I am helping, I just dun want her to get herself dirty from being near you, hanyou." He snorted.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!" drawing out his sword to block the kitsune's claws. He swung the sword at her, she dodged while Sesshoumaru blocked Inuyasha's sword. Why is the lord of the west helping her?

`True.'

"Mirai, stop this now." Grabbing her wrists and pinned her to the tree. Inuyasha charged towards the two, Sesshoumaru grabbed her and dodged the assault. She slashed him across the chest with a blade she formed out of thin air. Sesshoumaru was caught by surprise and fell back, his hand grabbed onto the necklace, breaking it away from her neck.

`That necklace! Hiei!'

`So, she is Kimiko.'

I changed into Youko and pinned her to the ground, towering over her. She struggled trying to get mi off, but I was stronger. I saw a faint image of an unconscious Kimiko inside that body.

"Kimiko, its mi Youko. Dun you remember?"

An arm escaped and swiped at my head. I evaded it, allowing her to be released from the ground. Hiei pinned her to the ground again. She was screaming incoherently.

"What happened?"

"Someone is in her mind."

"The bracelet, destroy the bracelet on her arm."

Following the advice of the western lord, using Youko's plants to stop her from moving. Hiei used his katana and destroyed the bracelet. A dark shadow escaped from it, Kimiko fell to the ground but Hiei caught her.

Youko took over and cuddled Kimiko in his arms while the rest looked on as she changed. Her ears disappeared. She opened her eyes, amethyst, met gold and ruby red.

"Kimiko…"

"Im sorry for…. worrying you." She whispered out, placing a hand on the cheek of Youko and fainted. Rain began to fall, drenching everyone who stood confused looking at the youkai changed Kimiko. Who had slipped into semi coma.

"You are welcomed at my home. I need answers." He said or commanded and left. We followed him; he led us to a room. I placed Kimiko on the bed and sat beside her, Hiei took the other side.

"When she wakes up, we shall answer your questions." I said, changing back to Kurama.

Sesshoumaru POV

So Mirai is Kimiko. I knew she was special but what. I actually considered her as a mate…. I left to inform the others the ball is postponed till she recovers. I feel that something big is about to happen and it has to do with her. Leaving the other lords no room for objection, I left to see how Rin is faring.

Sango POV

I tried to approach Kimiko but the two other youkai won't even allow mi to be in that room. Shippo wasn't allowed as well. I carried him and asked him what actually happened. He told us everything that he knew, which was nothing.

`Kagome or Kimiko, please wake up.'
