As soon as Hojo left Kagome staggered into the kitchen. As she glanced out the window she caught sight of the well house. For some odd reason she felt pulled towards the Well. Kagome walked towards the doors. When she was only a few feet out her door she felt another stabbing pain in her chest. When this one subsided she ran the remaining feet to the well. When she reached the well she removed the seal from the well and jumped in.

When she reached the other side she climbed put and sat on the ground to catch her breath. As soon as she thought she was able to find Inuyasha she stood up. When she stood up she felt another searing pain and this one was so intense she screamed out in pain.

Inuyasha was sitting in a tree when he heard a scream from the direction of the Well. Thinking a demon was attacking a villager he hurried to the Well. When he reached the Well he saw a shape huddled by it. In the fading light he couldn't see who it was. He inhaled deeply searching for the demon but the scent that came to his nose was most surprising.

"Kagome!" he whispered.

He inhaled deeply again to be sure when his nose caught something else in the scent. He noticed fear and pain mingled with the scent.

"Kagome are you alright?" he asked worriedly.

Hearing her name Kagome looked up.

"Inuyasha, help me please. It hurts." cried Kagome.

Inuyasha hearing the pain in her voice bent over and picked up Kagome bridal style. As soon as he was sure she was settled he took off towards Kade's village.
