“Kagome do we have enough clothes?” Inuyasha whined. “I'm a demon, not a pack mule.”

 

“I know, which is why we're taking everything home, then we can do what you want.” Kagome said with a smile, as she took a bag from him. “Also I promise never to do this to you again.”

 

“You better keep that promise…” Inuyasha said as they walked up the stairs. “Because I'll destroy all your clothes if you do.”

 

“You can't do that!” Kagome said as she opened the door, and walked in.

 

“I can.” Inuyasha said as he followed her up the stairs. “I would, I'd pick all your new clothes, and make you carry them.”

 

“I wish I could sit you, just one more time.” Kagome said as she walked in her room and set the bag on the bed.

 

“Unless that sit landed me with some big injury, that meant I wouldn't be able to move ever again, no you don't.” Inuyasha said as he sat his bags down on the bed.

 

“Oh, but I do.” Kagome said with a smirk.

 

Inuyasha smirked back at her and his eyes flashed playfully. “Really?”

 

“What are you plotting?” Kagome said as she backed out of the room.

 

When Inuyasha said, “Run” Kagome bolted.

Inuyasha opened his eyes and looked around thinking, “When did I fall asleep?” When Kagome shifted under him, he smiled and laid his head back down on her stomach. They had been running around the shrine all day, and by the looks of it had finally collapsed on the living room floor.

 

They had stopped the chase long enough to hang up Inuyasha clothes, put her clothes in the dryer, and eat lunch. They had also laid around for a few minutes outside. Now Kagome had a pillow from the couch under her and her arms under her head. Inuyasha was using Kagome's stomach as a pillow, and was holding her close to him.

 

The doorbell rang and Inuyasha let out a low growl, had the person outside been a demon it would have ran for the hills. Thankfully that wasn't the case, but it would have been nice for the person to go away. They had spent the whole day acting like pups, playing around, and now it had to come to an end all because someone needed something.

 

“Inuyasha I need to get the door.” Kagome said as she stretched. “And put on your hat, I don't need to come up with a story off the top of my head as to why you have dog ears.”

 

“Fine.” Inuyasha said letting her go and picking up the pillow, dropping it on the couch, and then headed for the door, putting on his hat, where Kagome was seemingly trying to explain something to a girl about her age.

 

“Eri, look, I had better things to do then to hang out with Hojo.” Kagome said as she ran her fingers through her hair.

 

“So you really do like that Inuyasha guy.” Eri said as she looked behind Kagome to see Inuyasha. “And is that him?”

 

“Hmm?” Kagome looked behind her and smiled. “Yeah that's infamous Inuyasha. Eri, Inuyasha. Inuyasha, Eri.” Kagome moved to the side and Eri came in, and she shut the door.

 

“Nice to meet you.” Eri said with a smile.

 

“Same here.” Inuyasha said with a nod.

 

“So anyone hungry?” Kagome asked as she stood beside them.

 

“Why don't we go out, it's all on me?” Eri said with a smile.

 

“Sure.” Kagome said when Inuyasha didn't move to stop her. “We need to change, Eri why don't you sit on the couch, we'll be down stairs in a few minutes.”

“That was nice.” Kagome said as she opened the door to the shrine.

 

“Yeah, but Eri talks way too much.” Inuyasha said as he shut and locked the door. “How did she manage to eat all her food?”

 

“I dunno; it's just one of those things I never ask.” Kagome said as she slipped off her shoes and walked into the living room and sat down.

 

Inuyasha shrugged and sat down next to her. “I have a question though, when did we end up on the floor, before Eri came to the door.”

 

“You were chasing me and tackled me, and then proceeded to use me as a pillow because you claimed to be tired.” Kagome said with a smile. “But I think you just said that because you knew I was.”

 

“Yeah.” Inuyasha said as he smirked at her. “You were only awake for like a minute after that, but I fell asleep somewhere in there.”

 

“Aww the big bad demon really was tired.” Kagome said with a smirk.

 

“No I was bored, very different.” Inuyasha said with a firm nod.

 

“Sure…” Kagome said as she stood up. “I'm going to take a shower…you should take one too.”

 

Inuyasha was about to say something, but Kagome put her hands over his mouth. “I meant in a different room.” Kagome explained as she shook her head.

 

“Mmhmm.” Inuyasha smirked as he stood up.

 

“You can use my mom's room.” Kagome said as they walked down the hall. “I'll show you how to work it, then you can take it from there.”

 

“Ok.” Inuyasha said as they walked into her mom's room, and into the bathroom. “Souta had attempted to explain it that one day, but it wouldn't hurt to have her explain it again.”

 

Kagome pulled back the curtain and explained everything, and showed him where the towels where, before leaving and shutting the door. Now for her nice long shower, hopefully Inuyasha wouldn't get too impatient and just barge in to tell her so.

 

Once out of the shower Kagome dried off and wrapped a towel around her self. Kagome walked in the room to see Inuyasha sitting on her bed in some red pajama pants that they had bought for him. “Uh…Inuyasha could you turn around or something?” Kagome said as she shifted her wait uncomfortably.

 

“Yeah, I'll go get a drink, you want one?” Inuyasha asked as he stood up and walked past her.

 

“No thanks.” Kagome said before shutting the door. “Forgot that he would come back to my room…Would have saved time if I had brought my pajama's with me into the bathroom.” Kagome thought as she got into some blue baggie pajama pants and a blue T-shirt.

 

Once done Kagome opened the door and Inuyasha stood up straight from his leaning position next to her door and walked in. “That was fast…” Kagome said as she followed him over to the bed. “Weren't you getting a drink?”

 

“I finished it before I came up.” Inuyasha said with a shrug.

 

“I couldn't have taken more then two minutes.” Kagome said shaking her head as they sat down.

 

“I'm a demon, besides you've seen the way I eat, it's the same way when I drink.” Inuyasha said with a grin.

 

“True.” Kagome said as she looked around. “What should we do?”

 

“Dunno…” Inuyasha said as he looked around too. “Here I have a question what's that?”

 

“A radio.” Kagome said getting up. “Here we can listen to something.”

 

“What's it do?” Inuyasha said as he leaned back on his hands.

 

“It plays music, or talk shows, but I'll save you the agony and just play a C.D so we don't have to listen to commercials either.” Kagome said as she looked through her stack of C.D's for something.

 

(I know these are American C.D's but there's little I can do about that)

 

“Umm…Here you can help me out. Do you want the singer to be female or male?” Kagome asked looking back at him.

 

“Male.” Inuyasha said looking over at her.

 

“Loud, soft or in the middle?”

 

“Middle.”

 

“Happy or not?”

 

“You choose.”

 

“And behold you picked about half my collection…” Kagome said rubbing the back of her head. “Here pick a cover from the one's you picked.”

 

“Ok.” Inuyasha said as got up and looked at the covers. “Here, this one.”

 

“Cool.” Kagome said putting it in. “If you don't mind, I want to listen to the last one.”

 

“It makes no difference to me.” Inuyasha said as she pressed a button and then came and sat next to him.

 

Once the music started Kagome leaned back and started mouthing the words so Inuyasha could hear it with out her singing it.

Inuyasha looked down at Kagome whose head was bobbing up and down to the music and thought, “You had to pick a song I couldn't just listen to? It had to make me think…”

“This is a good explanation for why I didn't want her to come back here.” Inuyasha thought as he looked at Kagome for a second out of the side of his eye.

Kagome looked up at Inuyasha who smiled. She took that as a sign that he liked it.

“You would wouldn't you?” Inuyasha thought as he snaked his arm around her bringing her so she was up against him.

Kagome smiled, this was something new. They were just sitting around. This must be something that normal people did. She hadn't been normal in a long time.

“You like it?” Kagome asked just to make sure.

 

“Yeah it was good.” Inuyasha said with a nod.

 

Kagome nodded and said, “It's good to hear. Most of my friends have threatened, at one point or another, my C.D collection. Though it varies between friends, some like something and other like other things.”

 

“So you have something in there to suit all your friends?” Inuyasha asked as Kagome got up.

 

“Yup, so do you want to listen to something else, or just find something else to do?” Kagome asked as she looked back at him.

 

“Something else.” Inuyasha said with a nod. “I almost forgot about something that I said we would do.”

 

Kagome turned off the radio and asked as she sat on her knees next to him, “Why exactly do I need to know any of this?”

 

“It's basically just to entertain myself.” Inuyasha said with a shrug.

 

“I thought that's why you chased me around the shrine all day?” Kagome said.

 

“It is, but this doesn't require too much moving.” Inuyasha said moving closer to her. “And it's fun to see you blush.”

 

“I'm so glad I amuse you.” Kagome said looking to the side, crossing her arms over her chest.

 

“Dog demons are very physical; the only time we're not is when we're scared of the person we're talking to.” Inuyasha said as he smirked at her. “Or we're sorry about something we did.”

 

“Hey then wh-“

 

Inuyasha put his finger to her lip and said, “Quite, I'm getting there.”

 

Kagome couldn't believe she did it, but she opened her mouth and sucked his finger into to her mouth. By the shocked look on Inuyasha's face, he wasn't expecting her to do that, ever.

 

“Kago…?” Inuyasha said as he didn't move, and Kagome smirked at him.

 

Kagome merely bit his finger lightly, and sat back letting his finger slide out of her mouth. “Hmm?”

 

“What the hell?” Was all that Inuyasha could think of to say at this point.

 

“Go on, you were saying something about teaching me to say sorry.” Kagome said a blush heating up her cheeks, but she acted as if nothing had happened and she had merely moved his hand from her mouth. “Also it's not nice to point.” Kagome added as she moved his hand so it sat on the bed.

 

Inuyasha gulped and nodded a light blush coming up to his cheeks. “To say sorry, just lower your head and make a whining noise.”

 

Kagome nodded and chuckled at the dumbfounded demon in front of her. “Is there something you would like to say Inuyasha?”

 

Inuyasha shook his head and sat back from her. Then he sat back up on his knees their faces less then an inch apart and asked, “Why'd you do that?”

 

“No reason, I wanted you to get your finger away so I bit it.” Kagome said with a blush.

 

Inuyasha nodded, and then smirked and licked her lips. “So are all those demons who threatened to eat me right, do I taste like chicken?”

 

Kagome was taken back, her jaw hung slightly ajar. “Did he just ask me how he tasted?” Kagome shook her head and shut her mouth staring at him like he had just asked her to eat him.

 

“Well do I taste like chicken?” Inuyasha insisted.

 

“No…” Kagome said shaking her head slowly.

 

“Then how, I'd like to know for the record.” Inuyasha said as he put his arms around her shoulders and sat so she was in-between his knees.

 

“Salty?” Kagome said like she was asking him.

 

“Hmm…So defiantly not good for a slug demon.” Inuyasha said with a smirk as he leaned down and kissed her neck.

 

“Inu-Inuyasha…” Kagome stammered at the attention…

 

“Hmm?” Inuyasha mumbled as he looked up at her lazily. “What do you want?” Inuyasha asked he dropped his hands down to her waist.

 

“Sleep…” Kagome thought up her excuse.

 

“If you want.” Inuyasha said as he moved away and slid on to the floor. “Night Kagome.”

 

“Night Inuyasha.” Kagome said as she got under the covers.
