Chapter 2

“Hurry! Get in!”

“Azumi?” Yes it was Azumi wearing the same clothes as before, only she had sunglasses on. Without warning, she was pulled into the car. Once she had settled down, she noticed they were not alone. In the back seat was a girl, about eight years old, with short yellow hair and some woven ponytails at the nape of her neck. She had amber eyes and was wearing a white summer dress with yellow flowers all over.

“Hi Kagome!”

“Kiki?” Kiki was Azumi's foster daughter; well she would be once Azumi has reached legal age. Her parents were killed in a car crash. She was a full dog demon. That's all Kagome knew about her. Kagome turned to Azumi, confusion in her eyes.

“Azumi… What's going on? Do you know those men? Why do you have a gun?!” Azumi looked at Kagome, a smirk on her face.

“Hold on. I'll explain everything once we're outta here.”

“ Azumi-“

Azumi interrupted her by speaking to the two passengers. “Fasten your seatbelts people! Cause this is gonna be one hell of a bumpy ride!”

“Huh?!” Was the only thing Kagome could say, while Kiki screamed with excitement, “Yee-hah!”

As if on cue, two gunshots were heard. They all turned round and saw the men enter the car. Azumi turned to Kiki.

“Kiki, countdown!” She then turned to Kagome. “Hold on!”

“5…. 4… 3… 2… 1!” Once she said one, the car went off at the speed of light. While one's scream was that of excitement, the other was that of fear. And you can guess who that was…

“Azumi, are you insane?! You're driving above the speed li- Look out for that corner! And that turn! And that flower shop!”

“Don't worry Kagome. Relax-“

“Relax?! How can I relax?!”

“Mama! They're getting closer!”

“I'm on it Kiki!” That was the end of the conversation.

On the street, people were running for their lives as the cars skidded past them, merely in blurs. Gunshots were heard from the black car as the bullets were aimed at the pink car. They kept twisting through corners, one trying to lose the other. Bullets were flying everywhere, hitting different items, shops and hurting innocent people. Unfortunately for them, a bullet went through the back wind screen to the front of the car, a few inches close to Kiki's head.

“Kiki, are you alright?”

“I'm fine mama. Don't worry about me.”

Kagome spoke. “We have to find a way to avoid them. They follow our every move.”

“Don't worry, I'm on it.” With that said, she brought out her gun. She turned to Kagome and saw her staring at it.

“What?”

“How can a gun be pink?” An anime sweat drop appeared on Azumi's head.

“Heh heh, well I can't help it. Pink is my favorite color.” Kagome shook her head.

“And yet you don't act like a real girl. You're always into guy stuff.”

“Sue me. I grew up in a world of boys, with my mother and I being the only females.”

“Um guys, sorry to disturb you but did you know that we have really BIG FANS and THEY'RE DIRECTLY BESIDE US?!” What Kiki had said was true.

Beside them was the car pursuing them, one of the men holding out a gun through the window. Now that they were close, Kagome took a good look at them. One was of a dark complexion and had blue eyes. His long black hair was braided in a ponytail. On his forehead was a weird purple four-star shape. The other, driving the car was fairer and had short wild hair and green marks on his face. The latter of them, the driver, spoke.

“Azumi, give us the girl and you'll be spared.”

“Ha! In your dreams Suikotsu! Over my dead body!” She replied with a smirk like InuYasha's.

“That could be arranged. But we could do something else before that.”

“Shut it Bankotsu!” Azumi replied, a blush spreading all over her scowling face, the smirk gone. That made he himself smirk.

“That's what I want from you. Your blush would spread over as I lick that sweet body of yours, starting with those rosy lips of yours, then your sweet slender neck. I'll leave my marks all over your perfect body. Then I'll move down and caress your sweet plump breasts, fondle, suck, nip and lick those rosy nipples till they turn red. Your screams will sound like music to my ears. Then I'll go down to your sweet-“

“I said shut it!” She brought out her gun and shot Bankotsu and unfortunately, he dodged right on time. But it almost hit Suikotsu, thereby making him turn the steering towards another direction thus serving as a distraction as that bought Azumi time to speed up. She turned round a corner and ended up in an alley.

“We're trapped!”

“Not for long!” Suddenly, a gear appeared in front of Azumi and she pulled it. She closed her eyes and suddenly, a pink aura was surrounding her. Later on everything was surrounded by a pink aura emitting from her. Once she got very close to the wall, the car went up it, jet wings appeared on each side and the tires were moved inside the car. Suddenly, the car was in mid air and Kagome realized one thing… They were flying!

Azumi then stopped glowing and the controls of the car were then flipped to those of a jet. She went on like nothing had happened, apart from the blush that had gotten brighter, later on disappearing slowly. The same went for Kiki.

“I think we lost them mama.”

The only person out of place was Kagome. She turned slowly to Azumi, a sweet smile on her face. That scared the wits out of Azumi.

`Uh-oh.'

“Azumi…”

“Y… Yes?” Azumi stuttered. The expression on Kagome's face changed to that of an angry dragon, smoke coming out from her nose. Fire was everywhere around her and poor Azumi was shrinking slowly in fear.

`She's scary when she's angry.' Kiki thought.

“WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!” Her voice echoed through the city to the earth to the universe. Back in the car, the two demons were covering their ears for dear life.

“Geez Kagome! We have sensitive hearing you know!” Azumi exclaimed.

“Sorry. But still…” She took a deep breath, “Why were those men after me? How did you get involved in this? Do you know them? Why do you have a gun? How did you get a car? Do your parents know what's going on? Where is InuYasha? Why was that guy talking to you like that? Why are we suddenly flying? Can't people see us? Why were you surrounded by an aura? It felt so powerful. And why is Kiki so calm? And why-“

“Gosh Kagome you ask too many questions!” That shut her up. Kagome had an apologetic expression on her face.

“I'm sorry Azumi. It's just so many things have happened all of a sudden.” She felt pressure on her shoulder and saw Azumi's hand there.

“Don't worry. I understand the way you feel. It was the same way I felt the first time I experienced it.”

“What… What are you talking about?” Azumi closed her eyes and opened them looking directly at her.

`Oh no. When Azumi looks like that, it means I'm in for it.'

“Kagome… What I'm about to tell you is gonna change your life forever. We've all got a twisted destiny. Get ready for an earful cause this is gonna take a long time.”

“Yay! Story time!” Azumi turned round and smiled at her daughter.

“Yes… Story time.”…
