Epilogue:
Yume was growing up beautifully. She was loved by both her mother and father dearly even though she was what some called a hanyou. Kohaku, her new best friend, would always tease her about her ears and amber eyes. Telling her she looked like a puppy. He was such a silly teenager even though he was a few months older than she was. Yume sighed. It was her birthday, her 16th to be exact. Her mother always seemed so depressed at those times, she never understood why.
Maybe her mom didn't like seeing her grow up, that was the only thing she could figure out. Father beamed about how beautiful she was all the time and how she would break some man's heart one day. Maybe even Kohaku's, but she knew he was more like a brother to her. Brother...She always wanted a brother, but father and mother never had any more children. Apparently when giving birth to her, mother was injured somehow.
"Yume! Yume dear! Its time to go see grandma and uncle Souta!" Her mother called from the hut.
Why was it everytime she wanted time alone to herself, either mother or father was looking for her? "Yes mama! I will be right there!" She smiled. Well she did like going through the well to see her other family, and they were throwing her a 16th birthday party, so she might as well be happy. Yet, for some reason she just didn't feel right today. She felt like something or someone was missing. A piece of her heart almost, it grew larger and larger as the years went by, but she never said anything to anyone, ecspecially her mother. She seemed depressed enough as it was on her birthday. (Maybe she is just rubbing off on me.)
Skipping back to the hut she prepared for her birthday party when her father came into her room and hugged her.
"I love you Yume. Happy birthday! You are so beautiful, you are going to break some man's heart one day." Inuyasha smiled at his daughter.
"You tell me that every year father, and nearly every week anymore. Father?" She hesitated, for some reason she wanted to tell him about her feelings.
"Yes Yume? You look worried." Inuyasha stared at his daughter intently.
"Is mama okay? I mean usually every year on my birthday she seems so depressed. Yet this year, she seems happier." That wasn't what Yume intended to say, but suddenly changed her mind as she spoke.
"Yume, your mother is weird. Don't you know that already? I mean think of all the stories we told you about the Shikon no Tama and Naraku. I also thinks she gets upset that every year you grow older, means a year closer to you finding a life on your own and leaving her." Inuyasha sighed. (That was too close to the truth.)
Hugging her father, and kissing his cheek she thanked him for his understanding and response. She felt so much better knowing that it was just mother's fear of her leaving one day. She would never leave her family, she loved them too much. She would tell her mother before they left to go to the well.

"Father. It is my sixteenth birthday, and I feel as though something is missing. Can you tell me what it might be? I have everything I need, and everyone I need." Kurotai looked up at his father who was staring off into the distance again, thinking.
"Kurotai, I can not tell you what you are missing, for I do not know your heart. All I can say is that perhaps you are longing for adventure, maybe even love. Ever since Rin left with her new mate you have seemed a little down. I believe it is time you travel on your own and get to know your lands." Sesshoumaru sighed. He knew eventually Rin would leave, and so would his son. He had been happy when Rin found a human mate, who seemed like a strong warrior, yet he was reluctant to see his family split apart. Now his son was strong, even though he was a hanyou, and had the respect of many youkai. It was time for his son to grow up and take control of his lands, and even find a mate, which shouldn't be hard from the reputation he had. He wanted grandpups at least. Maybe then he could have this feeling of seperation anxiety stop.
"Go find what you are missing Kurotai. Find a mate while you are at it. I want grandpups. Oh, and Kurotai. Happy birthday son. I am giving you Tensegia, wield it well." Giving the healing sword to his son, he hugged him and walked inside.
"Well, that was unexpected. I never thought father would give me his Tensegia." Kurotai spoke aloud to himself. Maybe his father was right, maybe it was time to go out and know his lands. Maybe it was time to find his own mate and start his own life.
"Well, I guess it's settled. Time to go for an adventure. Maybe I will find why my heart feels like its missing a piece to it." Walking inside Kurotai went to tell his father his plans. He smiled to himself. He knew he would find whatever it was that left this hole inside his heart. He had to.

A/N:
Well there was an epilogue. I know it sucked, but I figured it could be a good start for a sequel one day.
You know, neither twin knowing about the other, and they find one another and realize that the part missing from their hearts was each other. Apparently twins are supposed to have this "special" connection, so I was going to work off of that. AND NO, there will be no incest in the sequel..ewww.... They could find people along the way, and maybe trouble, and protect each other. I mean yeah, maybe at first, when they meet, they might have a 'spark' for one another, but they will realize its a brother/sister type thing. Alright well I hope you enjoyed Twisted Love. I really did try for this first fan fic and I hope you enjoy any future fan fics I put out. Ja ne!
