Last Time:


"Even if I wasen't, you still would have killed her to" Serenity said. Tears poured down her cheeks "Kouga, it hurts! alot, please help me!" She coughed a bit more, he back was wounded and her face was adorned with her blood, so was Kouga's clothes and hands


"Ofcourse I will sweetheart" Kouga said and started for the door. Souta heard everything and searched Serenity's purse for her house number. When he got it he dialed it quickly, hoping Inuyasha and Kagome haven't gotten to far.


Chapter 13: If She Dies, He Dies


Inuyasha was currently showering Kagome in his wet kisses down her neck. He disposed of her shirt and unclipped her bra, Kagome kissed his lips with a sweet, tender, passionate kiss. Inuyasha was about to lay ontop of Kagome, but the phone rang.


"Fuck" Inuyasha cursed as Kagome pushed him up. Inuyasha picked up the phone "What the fuck do you want?! I was busy!"


"Inuyasha!" Kagome shouted at him


"Inuyasha, it's Souta"


"Perfect timing you little runt"


"Inuyasha" Souta said now sounding serious and worried. Inuyasha caught the tone


"What happended?" Inuyasha asked


"Kouga came in here and shot Serenity" Souta said. he was on the verge of tears, he didn't know the girl all to much, but the time he knew her she'd been very kind to him.


"What! How'd that happen!" Inuyasha shouted 'Whats with this guys, why the hell would he shoot his mate' "What hospital?"


"I think he took her to the main one"


"Ok, we'll be right there" Inuyasha said and turned back to Kagome, who had her hands covering her mouth. He signaled her to follow him. As they walked out of the room Inuyasha felt a firce pain shoot through his back and stomach. He grunted in pain a bit


"Yash, are you ok?" Kagome asked touching his shoulder.


"Fine, come on let's go"


They drove down to the hsopital

Kouga bursted into the hospital with Serenity in his arms.


"Help! This girl has been shot!" Kouga shouted. Immediatly a nurse called the doctor. Serenity closed her eyes a bit, grunting in Kouga's arms. Kouga looked down at her


"Serenity, open your eyes, don't close them" Kouga said shaking her a bit "Don't you die on me"
Serenity opended her eyes a bit and looked up at him. She closed her eyes tightly as the pain shot through her again. Her blood started dripping onto the floor

'Damn, she's loosing to much blood' Kouga thought. 'Where the hell are the doctors!' Then relization hit him 'Kikyo knew who Serenity was to Inuyasha and me! That's why she gave me the potion, So it could hurt me and Inuyasha!'


Finally the doctors came and saw the pool around Kouga's feet. The people all staring at him as the doctors put Serenity on the bed and took her into the room. Kouga was left standing in the middle of the room, staring through the doors his mate just had gone through, and standing in her pool of blood. His hands, and clothes were also covered. Minutes later Inuyasha, Souta, and Kagome came running in. Inuyasha spotted Kouga, anger rising very quickly. Using his demon speed he ran to Kouga, picked him up, and pinned him the wall holding his neck


"What the fuck did you do to my sister!?" Inuyasha demanded. Kouga's eyes looked down "I said, what did you do to her!" Yet another bolt of pain shot through him again, onlt this time stronger. The nurse came


"Please sir, let him go. No fights in the hospital"


"You shut up! he shot my sister and if she dies, you'll die!"


"Inuyasha, please stop it!" Kagome shouted. Kouga's head shot up at the girl


"Your alive" he whispered


"Yeah, and what?" Kagome said. She took out her cell phone and dialed Sesshomaru's number, he picked it up


"Hello"


"Sess!"


"What?"


"It's Serenity-"


"What happened to her!"


"Kouga shot her"


"What!, where are you?"


"In Tokyo Hospital, the main one"


"Ok, we'll be right there" said Sess and hung up the phone.

"He did it" said Kikyo's ice cold voice


"Yes, she's lost way to much blood, she's as good as dead"


"Ok, this'll will definatly be interesting. Kouga shooting the girl he loves"


"Yup"

"Inuyasha, can you stand up" Azuki said. Inuyasha grunted


"It hurts like hell"


"What happended, did you hit yourself or something" Kagome said


"No"


"I know what it is" said Inutaisho


"What?" asked Sesshomaru


"Your sixteen right Inuyasha?"


"No dad, I'm eighteen"


"Right, that number" Inutaisho said "Since both your sister and you are eighteen, your connection becomes stronger"


"huh"


"it means, what you fell she feel, and what she feels, you feel"


"Duh, we already know that"


"No, this time it's physically"


"What?"


"Ok, she got shot, but your also feeling the pain. If you get hurt immotionally or phyisically, Serenity will feel your pain. If she gets hurt, you'll feel her pain. If she dies, you die and or vise versa"


Everyone's mouths were opended "How'd you know that dad" Sess asked


"it's a demon connectrion thing. If the demon should mate a human and have twins...one being human, the other demon, they have a special connection to eachother. In this, Inuyasha and Serenity"


"How come you never told us this before" Azuki asked


"I just remembered what my mother said"


"Are you the family of Serenity" asked a doctor. Azuki and Inutiasho stepped foward


"We're the girl's parents" said Azuki


"Very well, we must speak to you"


A couple of minuters later the doctor was still explaining. Inuyasha started to feel sleepy


"I'm sleppy" he said


"How could you think of sleeping at a time like this?" Kagome asked sitting down next to him.


"No, the sleepiness is getting into my head. I don't think I could keep my eyes open for very long. I don't know what's wrong"


"Inuyasha, get your ass up" Inutaisho said.


"I can't, it hurts" Inuyasha said. Inuyasha began to close his eyes again


"Inuyasha, stay awake!" Rin shouted


"I can't" Inuyasha said


"You have to!" Azuki said "The doctors need someone to give Serenity blood, she lost to much. I don't have her blood type. You have to try"


"What about Sess or her father?" Rin asked


"They can't"


"Why?"


"They are demons, Serenity is human. If she gets demon blood, she can't live. She need human blood"


"Inuyasha has demon blood"


"But, it's a mixture of human blood to, she can handle that"


"Fine" Inuyasha said and started to get up. He grunted loudly and almost fell back, his father and Sess helped him


"Is he the next to try?" asked the doctor


"yeah" Inuyasha said. He made a face at the pain


"Is he ok, he looks in pain"


"The girl is his twin" Sess said


"Oh, I know, the demon human twin thing" The doctor said. Inutaisho nodded. They went into the room and they took a sample of Inuyasha's blood and comapred it with Serenity's blood


"He has demon blood, but his human blood is hers. So, Inuyasha I'll take you to her room"


They went into the room and injected Inuyasha's vein and connected it with the tubes that Serenity had connected to her arm. The transfer began, though this just added more to the pain he managed to speak


"Why am I so sleepy"


"Your parents didn't tell you"


Inuyasha yawned "No"


"Serenity is slowly falling into a coma"


"What!"


"The blood can maybe, just maybe help a bit. Try and stay awake for as long as possible, that'll help"


"I can't" Inuyasha said and his head hit the table, his eyes closed and he fell asleep. The doctor stopped the blood transfer and called his parents. Azuki and Inutaisho walked in hurridly as the nurses checked to see in what health state Serenity and Inuyasha were in. The nurse shook her head and the doctor turned to the parents


"I'm afraid that Serenity has fallen into a coma, as has her brother"


"No, is there a possibility they'll live"


"I can't say, like I said earlier, the bullet hit one of her organs and through one of her main nerves. He repared them, but that has caused damage and inorder to recover the body has placed it's owner into a powerful deep sleep."


They came out, Kagome ran to them


"How's Serenity?"


"I'm afriad both her and Inuyasha have fallen into a coma, there's a small possiblity they'll live" Azuki said sobbing. Kagome joined her in crying, as did Rin.

"Inuyasha" Serenity whispered


"What?" Inuyasha answered


"Where are we?"


"I don't know, come on let's get out of this well" Inuyasha said helping Serenity get out. They came out and saw a complete meadow, filled with trees adn they were in the middle, and out of the well. Inuyasha looked down at his clothes


"What the hell am I wearing?" Inuyasha asked. He was wearing a red baggy firerat kimono, and he had a sword at his side. Serenity was wearing a red kimono, and it was held with a white strap around her waist. Her hair was picked up into a high ponytail, and she also had a sword at her side.


"Um..where should we go?"


"This way" Inuyasha said, grabbed Serenity's hand and led the way into the forest.
