Kagome started to glow light purple as the jewel escaped from Kikyo's neck and onto Kagome's. Kagome started to lift off the ground with a silver glow around her.
"Kagome!" Inuyasha growled. He jumped up and grabbed Kagome's ankle, but as they lifted the power threw Inuyasha onto the floor with a loud thud. Kagome got inside the crystallized house
"Midoriko, my sister" Serenity smiled "It is me, Syara"
"I'm not Midoriko"

Kikyo's chants began to get louder as the whole sky was dominated by demons. Sango, Inuyasha, Kouga, Miroku, and Sess prepared for battle.
Chapter 21: Bringing The Past to The Future
Outside, Inuyasha tried to break through the crystal. No luck, every time he would break it the damn thing would just repair itself again.
'Son of a bitch, this thing won't break' he thought as he launched himself again at the crystal. Kagome was banging on the window with all her might
"Let me out of here!" she demanded, but Serenity shock her head
"I'm sorry sister, I cannot do that" Serenity said and chanted a spell. Rin and Souta felt their bodies go numb
"What is this, I feel..." Rin didn't finish because she fell into a deep sleep with Souta's head on her lap as he slept as well
"Rin!" Kagome shouted as she went to her friend's side. She shook Rin a couple of time, but nothing "Rin, wake up. You can't leave Sess alone, come on! Wake up!"
"She's not dead, just sleeping" Serenity said. Kagome turned her head
"Then, wake my friend and brother up!"
"They don't belong in my plan"
"Serenity, what are you doing?" Kagome asked "This isn't you"
"No, I'm Syara and we'll defeat Kikyo together" Serenity said "Midoriko, don't you remember?"
"My name is Kagome Higurashi, not Midoriko" Kagome started "And your name is Serenity Tsuroka"
"No, what has happened to you!?"
"Nothing, this is the future Serenity and-"
"My name is Syara!"
"No, your name is Serenity and this is the future. This isn't the world you remember"
"Hmph, I think Kikyo had gotten into your head"
"Listen, your Inuyasha's twin sister and-"
"Inuyasha?"
"Yeah"
"But, he belongs to Kikyo and only has a brother. I'm not his sister"
"You are in this time"
"If I was Inuyasha's sister, then he wouldn't fall for Kikyo's tricks"
"Ugh! He is not falling for her tricks!" Kagome shouted getting closer to Serenity "Inuyasha and I are engaged"
Kagome showed Serenity the ring. "See, he loves me, not Kikyo. Let me go and I'll show you"
"No, I don't need proof. Midoriko, you've forgotten who you are and now you fantasize on marrying the miko's lover"
"But-"
"No, Inuyasha has always and always will ONLY love Kikyo. Even in this time, Kikyo sealed her soul and his before she died. Until the end of time, they will always one way or another fall in love again. Nothing will be able to break that bond"
Kagome stayed quiet 'I thought he loved me'

Kikyo stopped chanting and all the demons were behind her
"Attack!" she commanded. Not to the demons, but to her 'loyal' servants. Naraku was able to attack swiftly and did a lot of damage. Kouga distracted him while Sango launched her boomerang at him. He broke it easily and hit Sango with what looked like vines. It tied around her body, but Sess tried to break them. No luck, they just kept dragging Sango away and pinned her to a tree. Inuyasha climbed to crystal to try and break it somewhere else while Miroku's spells held some of Naraku's power. Kikyo commanded the demons to attack and they did. Inutaisho and Azuki were save because their sons didn't want them fighting. Azuki held Serenity's sword to her chest. The sharp blade hidden in the black sheath, but the silver handle visible. Sesshomaru held his Tokijin sword as he swung it, each swing killing a lot of demons. Inuyasha had Tetsuaiga which he used to kill the demons when they would come close to him while he climbed the crystal.
"Let me go!" Kagome cried as Serenity tightened her grip on Kagome's arm. She struggled, but the girl was strong. Maybe a bit weaker then Inuyasha. 'Duh, twins' she thought
"You forget that I have the crystal!"
"You forget that I'm stronger" Kagome said and released a purple shock at Serenity. She let go and watched as Kagome ran up the stairs into her and Inuyasha's room. She followed
"Midoriko, I must make you remember and forget this life you fantasize over" Serenity said knocking on the door
"I won't let you!" Kagome shouted stroking her ring several time and then touching Inuyasha's mark "I don't want to forget his life that I love so much!"
"You will!" Serenity shouted and broke through the door. The aura around her body glowing bright pink with a hint of silver coming around like a passing light. Kagome shock her head and began to concentrate hard. Serenity came closer and touched Kagome's shoulder. She smiled
"Let me turn you back to normal"
"NO!"
"I'm gonna do it anyway! So why not just let me now!?"
Kagome's body glowed bright purple as she's sprung from the bed and pushed serenity to the ground with her powers. Her eyes also bright purple.
"You can't make me forget what I don't want to forget!" Kagome shouted and beamed her powers all over the house and as passing breaking the crystal surrounding it. Inuyasha jumped off as the crystal exploded and the sharp pieces killing the last of the demons.
"Kagome!" Inuyasha shouted running into the house. He came face to face with an angered Serenity. "Serenity, where's Kagome?"
"Her name is Midoriko, Inuyasha and why do you care?"
"Serenity, what the fuck is wrong with you?"
"You have no business here, go back to your beloved Kikyo"
"Inuyasha!" Kagome shouted. He growled at his sister telling her to move, but she ignored it
"Get out!" Serenity said and put up a shield at the door
"Serenity! Let me in!"
"NO!"
"I swear, when everything is over there will be a punishment!"
"I don't mean anything to you, therefore you cannot punish me"
"You're my fucking sister and I'm your older twin brother. I growled and you ignored, that serves enough to punish you for disobeying"
Serenity frowned and turned back to Kagome. She held up her crystal and smiled
"Time to bring back everything from the past"
Before Kagome could open her mouth the crystal glowed and a blast emitted from it causing everything to shake. Everyone fell to the ground in an unconscious state. Kagome opened her eyes to see Serenity standing over her offering her hand. Kagome took it
"Where are we Syara?" Kagome asked looking around
"We are about to fight Kikyo and her friends"
"You mean Kikyo, Inuyasha, and Sango right?"
"Yes"
"Where is the perverted monk?"
"Still recovering from the blast"
Kagome looked at her finger which held a ring on it. Inuyasha opened his eyes and immediately took Kikyo into his lap.
"Kikyo, open your eyes." He pleaded. Kikyo opened them slowly
"Where are we my love?"
"Apparently, with Syara and Midoriko" Inuyasha answered. Something burned Kagome's juncture seeing the look Inuyasha gave her. It hurt a lot and she grunted in pain. Her heart felt like it was ripped apart, but she didn't know what caused it. Inuyasha felt kind of wrong holding Kikyo, but knew she was the only one who accepted him and 'loved' him. Sango jumped to her feet at seeing the two sisters. She held two swords and was ready as was Miroku, but he was next to the sisters. Kouga didn't know where he was, all her remembered was getting hit with a blast. He saw his mate, her friends, and family on either side. He was confused
'Miroku, Serenity, and Kagome vs. Kikyo, Inuyasha, and Sango...this is wrong'
"What the hell are you doing!? Serenity, get over here!?" he commanded. Serenity looked his way and snorted, but regretted it immediately. In a blink of an eye Kouga was right in front of her holding her shoulder tightly. She struggled against his hold
"Let me go!"
"Serenity, stop. What are you doing?"
Serenity blasted him away. He got up and glared at his mate
'This girl is asking for it' Kouga thought and stood in the middle of the two.
"Midoriko, we will defeat her right?"
"Yes, Kikyo will die along with Sango and Inuyasha" Kagome assured her. She took out her sword as did Serenity. Sess woke up and stood next to Kouga and had the confused look to. He sighed and told Kouga not to get involved, but to stop them if they try and kill each other. Kouga nodded. Inuyasha held Tetsuaiga and Kikyo next to him.
'I told Midoriko that no matter what Kikyo and Inuyasha will be together. He will never love Midoriko even though she sowed she had feeling for him earlier. They were together last time and now they will die together'
Kikyo sent miko energy to Kagome who blocked it easily. Inuyasha crossed blades with Kagome who fought back. Her miko powers getting in the way a lot. She took her chance and shocked him with a full blast of miko power. Inuyasha fell to the ground, his limp bloody body hit the ground and his sword left hi hand. His eyes closed and he drifted
"Inuyasha!" Kikyo shouted, but Serenity stopped her.
"It's your turn"
Kagome stood over Inuyasha's body. That burning sensation began to grow and she almost couldn't stand the pain. Serenity shouted in pain as her body fell to the ground. It looked like the same thing happened to her that happened to Inuyasha. Kagome's mouth opened, but she just glared at Kikyo instead
"What did you to Syara?"
"I did nothing, she just shouted and fell"
Kagome's eyes grew wide as an image raced through her head. Her and the hanyou she just killed kissing and hugging each other. She pushed that thought away. Sess and Kouga tried to stop them, but Kagome forced them back with her powers. Kikyo tied them to a tree with her miko energy. The girls glared at each other, neither of them making the first move. Miroku and Sango had been knocked out by Sess and Kouga.
'Syara and the hanyou are practically dead. That leaves only Kikyo and me standing, but in the end I will be the only one standing. Then, I'll change the world back to normal. Kikyo and Inuyasha will die together' Kagome thought. A little voice in the back of her head said for her not to finish killing him, but she pushed that thought away and focused on sealing Kikyo once and for all.
