Last Time:


"NOO! HELP ME!" Missaou cried. He lifted her and they started to disappear. Missaou's entire body glowed golden-yellow as she broke from Naraku's grasp. Another black bind covered her hands and she fell to the ground. She couldn't use her powers anymore. Naraku grabbed her once again and smirked.


"You see what I'm doing to your little friend, Kye" Naraku smirked.

"Let her go!" Kye yelled.

"Oh, so you've found someone who likes you, Missaou. The boy probably just wants you for your body. Ya know, she's beautiful under her clothes. I've never had her, but I've seen her" Naraku smiled.

"You disgusting bastard!" Inuyasha shouted and tried to slash Naraku. He smiled and jumped up, taking Missaou with him.

"Say goodbye to Missaou, Kye" Naraku said.


"KYE!" Missaou shouted and then she disappeared with Naraku.


Chapter 33: Haunting Memories pt:1

"Elizabeth, you can't do that!" Inuyasha shouted. The wind surrounding Elizabeth and Inuyasha was black. Elizabeth smiled weakly at him.

"I have to do this and none of you stop me!" Elizabeth yelled back. Inuyasha grabbed her arm.

"No, your one of my best friends and I can't just let you sacrifice yourself!"

"Numbskull, if you want to beat Naraku then let me do it. I'll hold him, but you've got to get the damn jewel"

"But-"

"No buts! Go!" Elizabeth yelled. Her powers threw him back and out of the wind. He looked up at her from his spot on the floor to see streaming tears. "I love you all! Consider our games tied Inuyasha!"

"Lizzie!" Serenity shouted as her hand reached out to try and get her friend.

Kagome shot up. She was sweating and panting as she remembered how they beat Naraku. Inuyasha opened his eyes.

"What's wrong?" he asked. Kagome laid back down and placed her head on his chest.

"Our battle with Naraku just can't get out of my head"

"Don't worry. We beat him thanks to Elizabeth and Chester" he kissed the top of her head.

"Yeah, but these nightmares keep haunting me" Kagome said. Inuyasha sighed.

"Try and get some sleep. Tomorrow we have to get up early, it's a work day"

"Ok" Kagome agreed and snuggled closer to his warmth.

~Dream~

"We have to get out of here!" Ayame shouted. Kagome looked for a way out, but they were stuck. "Dad! Can you hear us!?"

"Ayame, move!" Kagome threw Ayame to the floor as part of the castle came crumbling down. "Look, that way" They ran towards the open space and jumped out.

"Kagome!" Inuyasha shouted. She waved at him as he jumped down and picked up both of them. He landed with the others as they watched Naraku's castle crash down.

"Look!" Rin pointed to where Elizabeth's body was. Everyone gasped.

"Get her dad" Kye said with his sister on his back. Inuyasha didn't hesitate to get the girl out of the way. He jumped just in time before a piece of the castle landed where Elizabeth was. He jumped back and shook her a little.

"Elizabeth" Sango whispered. Miroku checked her pulse.

"It's very faint, but defiantly there" Miroku concluded. Sesshomaru looked down on Elizabeth. Kagome brushed some of her hair from her face.

"Yash, she was pregnant" Kagome said.

"That's right. Elizabeth, how could you do that!?" Inuyasha yelled. Elizabeth whimpered in his arms a little bit. Her light brown eyes opened as she smiled up at her friend.

"Hey, loser" she whispered. Inuyasha smiled. Everyone was around them.

"How do you feel?" asked Kagome.

"Like shit"

"Don't worry, Naraku is dead and you'll be ok"

"No, it hurts a lot and I don't have much longer"

"Don't say that" Inuyasha almost yelled. "Your not going to die, you'll be fine, and-"

"Shut up. Naraku killed Chester, but I will die saving my friends. See, you beat Naraku and now it's time me and baby go"

"No, Elizabeth you'll be fine. Amy will be sad to and remember International day. Remember when we made our deal?" Inuyasha said while looking at her wounds. He winced at bit.

"Yup, I remember. Tell Amy to miss and never forget me. At least I got everything I've ever wanted. I got to kill some one I hate, I got great friends, I got three wonderful demon friends since the last year of high school, I got a mate, and I got pregnant. To bad I won't give birth though. By the way, Inuyasha I've always treasured you..." Inuyasha blinked "As my hanyou friend" she emphasized the word hanyou a bit. Inuyasha smiled. "I love you guys, never forger me ple.." Elizabeth trailed off as her eyes closed and her cheek hit Inuyasha's chest.

~End Dream~

Kagome's eyes shot open. The alarm was ringing loudly as she heard Inuyasha's growl. His fist came down on the helpless alarm and it broke in to pieces.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled.

"I hate alarms" he grumbled. He put the covers over his head, but Kagome pulled them back down.

"Get up we have to go to work today. You to the office and I have to go to the school" Kagome shook her mate. "Get up!"

"Feh" Inuyasha sat up and rubbed his eyes. His hair was messy and it stood up, covering his ears.

"You look funny" Kagome smiled. She brushed his hair away so she could see his dog ears.

"Feh" Inuyasha snorted. Kagome kissed his cheek and crawled off the bed. She went in to the bathroom with Inuyasha on her tail.

"Hey!" Kagome yelled.

"Psch, sleepy head wake up" Sakura whispered. She was answered when her brother snored. She sighed 'This is harder then I thought' Suddenly, Kye's eyes shot open as he rushed past her. Sakura fell to the floor when she saw the white blur burst through his door. She blinked

"Sheesh, what's with him?" Sakura asked herself. She went back to her own room and changed her clothes. When she came out she heard gagging noises coming from the bathroom in Kye's room. Curious, she opened the bathroom door to find him over the toilet.

"Mom, dad I think Kye's sick!" Sakura shouted 'And on his first day of attending Tokyo high'

"What's wrong?" Kagome asked. She was already dressed as she walked over to the bathroom. Kye groaned as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Kye, what did you eat?" Kagome asked. She grabbed a scrunchi and tied his hair back when he started to throw up again. When he was done he answered.

"Dad's cooking"

"I'm serious. We all ate that" Kagome said rubbing his back. "What else?"

"Uh, ramen"

"That can't be it. Dad eats that 24/7 and he's fine"

"She's right. Think, what else"

"Kye, you didn't eat what was in the green container did you?"

"Yeah, that stuff was good" Kye admitted. Sakura gasped.

"You idiot! You ate my science project!" Sakura shouted as she raced to the kitchen.

"Science project!?" Kye groaned and leaned over the toilet again.

"I'll call the school and tell them you got sick from eating Sakura's science project. Kye, I told you not to eat that. Who knows what kind of things she put in it to make it a science project" Kagome sighed.

"It was a midnight snack, he probably couldn't see" Inuyasha said. He was leaning against the doorframe when Sakura came back with the green container.

"Kye, you didn't even leave anything! My science teacher gave me chemicals to put in the food!"

"Heh, Kye won't die. He's half demon so he'll live" Inuyasha said. "Stay here. Shit, I'm gonna be late and fluffy will have my head" Inuyasha rushed to get his keys and briefcase. He came back. "Bye" he kissed Kagome's lips gently, he ruffled Kye's hair, and kissed Sakura's cheek.

"Bye honey"

"Bye dad"

"Bye, ugh" Kye threw up again. Kagome wrinkled her nose and turned to Sakura. She sighed. "Sakura, get your things I'll drive you to school. Kye, I'll call my job and tell them my son is sick and I have to stay home" Kagome left the bathroom. Sakura knelt down next to Kye and helped keep his hair out of the way.

"Sakura, let's go!" Kagome yelled from the bottom of the staircase.

"Bye, Kye" she kissed his cheek. She got up, grabbed her backpack and ran out "Hope you feel better!"

"Yeah, yeah" Kye mumbled as another pain struck him in his lower abdomen. He threw up again, but the small pain didn't go away. He flushed the toilet and fell back. He stared at the ceiling as he felt another pain in his stomach and felt he had to gag again.

"Bye, Sakura" Kagome said. "Be careful with what you eat. I'm surprised you don't feel what Kye feels." Sakura blushed.

"Mama, I think you better give Kye some Midol to" Sakura said while playing with her fingers. Kagome smiled and giggled lightly.

"I'll be sure to pick some up on the way" Kagome smiled. Sakura nodded.

"Bye mom and I'll be sure not to eat anything heavy for Kye's sake" Sakura ran out of the car to catch up with her friends. Kagome laughed a bit and then remembered she had to pick up Midol for her son.

'Midol, for Kye' Kagome thought with a smile 'I think Inuyasha must have some when Serenity gets her cramps. I'll have to check our bathroom first'

"Kye!" Kagome yelled. She went up to his room and opened the door. She had the medicine in his hands. "Kye, how are you feeling?"

"I feel like shit. My stomach hurts, I gag every five minutes, and I have cramps for some reason" Kye said from his spot on the bed. Kagome sat next to him and gave him the Midol.

"I'll give you two of these pills" Kagome said.

"Midol? Mom, that's for girls"

"I know, but it'll help your cramps" Kagome laughed lightly. "Your father gets them once a month to. Know why?"

"Does that mean dad has a menstrual cycle?"

Kagome smiled "No, the bond you share with your sister gives you her pain. It's takes longer for her to feel yours though. You father has them to thanks to your aunt Serenity. Here" Kagome gave him the tablets as he took them. He blushed.

"Thanks"

"No problem, I'll go make you some tea"

"Uhuh"

"So, I thought some new guy was coming today" a girl said. She had long dark green hair, light green eyes, and pale white skin. Another one nodded.

"Ya, wasn't he transferring from America?" this one had long blue hair and light red eyes.

"Keya, Mayu!" Sakura shouted. She ran over to her two best friends.

"Hey" the said in unison.

"Haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been?" the girl with the dark green hair asked.

"Yeah, we thought you died" said the other one.

"Keya?" Sakura said. The girl with the blue hair nodded once. "I've been through a lot, but now I'm back"

"Great!" shouted Mayu. "Come on, we've gotta tell you about this guy that's transferring today from America"

'To bad I can't tell them about Kye. Well, until we're both seventeen. Stupid youkai laws' Sakura thought.

"He has your last name" Keya said. They dragged Sakura in to the school. "He's a demon. We saw his picture, he's hot as hell"

"Wh-what?" Sakura said. 'Oh great, my two best friends have the hots for Kye'

"I stole his picture. He has long silver hair like this" Mayu tugged on Sakura's silvery locks gently. "Look" she opened her locker. "I found it in the office. His name is Kye Tsuroka"

"I see" Sakura said. 'That's the picture I took. Didn't know mom gave the school that one' The bell rang as the two girls dragged Sakura to their classes.

"I'm home!" Sakura yelled. She threw her backpack on the floor and ran upstairs and in to Kye's room. He looked at her and then back at the TV.

"Hi" he said.

"Guess what?" Sakura said while sitting down next to him on the bed.

"What?"

"My friends want to date you" Sakura smiled.

"What? They don't even know me"

"I know, but they know a new guy named Kye Tsuroka was suppose to come today. Mayu stole your picture and worships you"

"Your friends are obviously crazy"

Sakura slapped his upside the head "I'm just telling you. They'll talk to you, flirt with you, and give you hints to get you to ask them on a date"

"Won't happen"

Sakura sighed "Whatever, Kye. By the way, I've got your schedule. You have almost all of my classes and two of them with only Mayu" Sakura went out of the room to do her homework. Kye sighed, but then rushed out of his room and in to the bathroom. Kye buried his face in his pillow.

'Missaou died protecting me and Sakura when Naraku attacked us. If Sakura wasn't hurt then Missaou would've never died. Then again, Sakura was badly hurt and I wouldn't have left her to fight. It wasn't Sakura's fault Naraku hurt her so much when he took her away. Either way, I couldn't protect myself while I was carrying Sakura and Missaou died' Kye closed his eyes as his memories haunted him.

~Dream~

"Kye!" Kagome shouted. Kye disappeared with Sakura on his back. Kye turned around to see his surroundings, but saw Naraku standing there. Sakura had wounds almost all over her body thanks to Naraku. Kye couldn't put her down to draw his sword for her was sure Naraku would do something to her. He bit the inside of his cheek. Naraku attacked him several times, but he managed to dodge the attacks. His mind didn't register when Naraku threw him back until he was on the ground. He carried his sister bridal style when Naraku launched his attack on Kye. He couldn't dodge the attack no matter how fast he ran or how high he jumped.

"Kye" Sakura whimpered. Out of nowhere he saw Missaou jump in front of him.

"Missaou!" Kye yelled. To late, the attack hit Missaou, but her powers protected Kye and Sakura. Then, he saw it. His nightmare come true was on his sister.

~End Dream~

"Kye" Inuyasha shook his son again. Kye groaned and opened his stormy blue eyes.

"Hmm?"

"Dinner is ready. You should eat something"

"Fine" Kye said and got up. He ate quietly, but then half way through his dinner Kye felt his stomach do flips. He groaned and ran into the bathroom.

"Well, there goes his dinner" Kagome said. Sakura nodded.

"Mom, I'm done. Thanks" Sakura kissed Kagome's cheek and put her plate in the sink. "I'm gonna make Kye some tea, that should help his stomach. I talked to my teacher today about the chemical she gave me"

"What did she say?" Inuyasha asked.

"Well, the effect that the chemical had should wear off in twenty four hours. So, the time that Kye ate my project is the time when his stomach will hurt like hell itself and he will throw up for the last time"

"Good, that means it'll be over tonight" Kagome said. Sakura nodded

"He should be good as new in the morning"

"I swear when this is over you won't throw up again" Sakura said. She held Kye's hair as she removed her own scrunchi from her hair. She took Kye's hair and tied it up. She brushed his bangs from his face as he fell back on to the cold bathroom floor. He breathed in heavily.

"Was that the last time?" Kye asked. Sakura nodded. Kye smiled "Thank kami"

"Serves you right for eating my project"

"Uhuh" Kye closed his eyes, but quickly opened them again. "Do you hear that?" His right ear twitched over to his parent's room.

"No, what is it?" Sakura asked. Kye flushed the toilet as he and Sakura crawled on the floor over to their parent's door. Sakura used her miko powers to mask their scents. She pressed her ear gently on the door to hear her mother moaning. She gasped. Kye wrinkled his nose.

"I think they think we're asleep" Kye said. Sakura nodded and heard Kagome call out her father's name.

"Either she's having a very exotic dream or it's the real thing"

"I can smell their arousal, let's go" Kye tugged the hem of his shirt and they crawled away. Sakura opened her door quietly and crawled on her bed as Kye made his way to his room. Sakura groaned, but couldn't sleep. With a sigh she crawled out of her room and opened Kye's door. He was wide awake to.

"What's wrong?" Kye asked as he sat up.

"My room is right next to theirs. What do you think?"

"Oh" Kye said.

"Can I stay here? I don't hear anything here"

"Yeah" Kye plastered ears against his head. He moved over and placed another pillow next to his. He motioned for his sister to get in bed. She complied and crawled in. She put the covers over her head when her mother screamed.

"Well, they're having their fun" Sakura said. Kye nodded

"I think our pups heard you that time" Inuyasha snickered. Kagome slapped his arm.

"Your fault" Kagome said a little breathless.

"Don't blame me" Inuyasha said as he once again started to nip his mark.

"St-Stop" Kagome moaned when he sucked on her breast. His hands worked on her body. "We have work tomorrow"

"One more time, please" Inuyasha said.

"Alright" Kagome agreed.

"When will they stop!?" Kye put his pillow over his head. Sakura sighed.

"Who knows?"

"Ugh, we have school in the morning" Kye said. "Hold it" they heard their father's name being called out by their mother. "I think they stopped"

"Really?" Sakura asked. Kye's ears twitched as he heard his parent's steady breathing.

"Finally, they're asleep" Kye whispered. He yawned "Night, Sakura"

"Night" Sakura yawned and fell asleep.

"Get up pups!" Kagome yelled for the hundredth time.

"Five more minutes" Kye grumbled and turned over. His arm hit Sakura's side, but he pulled the covers over his head.

"Kye, Sakura up!" Inuyasha yelled. Kye groaned and sat up.

"Well, if SOMEONE" he looked at Kagome "Wasn't keeping Sakura and me awake all night, this would be easier" Kye laid back down again. Kagome turned tomatoe red and slapped her forehead. Inuyasha blushed a bit, but shook Sakura.'

"Sakura" Inuyasha said.

"Kye, I can hear mom. They're at it again" Sakura mumbled.

"You have school today!" Inuyasha yelled. He threw his daughter over his shoulder and walked in to the bathroom. He turned on the cold water and put Sakura in.

"AHHH!" Sakura yelled as she jumped out of the water and in to Inuyasha's arms. "Dad!"

"Only way to get you up. Go to your room and get dressed" Inuyasha walked back to Kye. He lifted the boy up and dumped him in to the cold water to. "Get dressed!" He dragged Kagome out of the room.

"I told you we should've stopped!" Kagome blushed.

"Feh!" Inuyasha crossed his arms over his chest. He sighed.

"Come on, Sakura!" Kye yelled. He grabbed his car keys and walked out the door. 'Demons get to drive a year earlier then humans' Kye snickered. Sakura ran down the stairs and in to the kitchen where Inuyasha was eating breakfast.

"Bye mom, bye dad" Sakura kissed their cheeks and grabbed two pieces of toast from Inuyasha's plate.

"Hey!"

"Bye!" Sakura ran out the door and jumped in to her brother's car. Kye sped down the road.

"Where's the school!?"

"Take a left here, right there, now head straight. Turn there, here to, and here. There's our school" Sakura smiled. "Shit, I'm here and your new"

"Point?"

"My friends don't and can't know your my brother!"

"Right" Kye thought for a minute.

"Now what? Damn youkai law"

"Well, I can drop you off here" Kye suggested.

"Right now, I think that's the best idea I've ever heard from you" Sakura grabbed her backpack before her friends came towards them. She kissed Kye's cheek and got out of the car. Kye parked his car and saw Sakura greet her friends.

"Never said I couldn't talk to her" Kye smirked. He got out of his car and walked over to Sakura and her friends.

"Sakura, he's coming this way" Mayu bit her bottom lip. "Gods, he's even more gorgeous in person. Hey, golden eyes?"

"Huh, what?" Sakura said. Keya sighed and slapped her friend on her head.

"Your dumb, she said the most hottest guy in school is coming this way. With a smile on his handsome face" Keya smiled with Mayu. Sakura raised her brow and turned around.

'Kye, what are you doing?' Sakura thought. Kye walked and stop next to Sakura.

"Hello" he smiled. Sakura sighed and slapped her forehead.

"Kye!" Ayame shouted. She ran over to her younger cousin. Sakura turned around and shook her head as a reminder for Ayame.

"How are ya feeling?" Ayame smiled. She kissed Kye's cheek. Mayu and Keya gasped, but Sakura sighed.

"I'm fine, the chemical wore off during the night" Kye blushed a bit.

"Aw, don't worry! Everyone gags in their life" Ayame said. "Now, I need a ride home today. Kye, please"

"Whatever" Kye said as the school bell rang.

"Great! Thanks, my car is getting fixed. By the way, my dad and Inu are going to be at a meeting so he might be home later today. See ya later" Ayame tapped Sakura's shoulder before running off in to the school. Mayu blinked at Sakura and then Kye turned around.

"Is Ayame your girlfriend?" Keya asked.

"Yeah right, I've just known her for a long time" Kye said. "Well, don't just stand there let's go" he smirked at Mayu and Keya. They nodded and dragged Sakura along. She glanced at Kye who gave her a sheepish smile as he followed.

'Kye, if you hurt my friends I will hurt you' Sakura thought. They entered the classroom which was Language Arts. Boring.

"Psch" Kye glanced at Sakura. Mayu and Keya saw them from their seats a couple of rows back. They glanced at eachother and back at Sakura and Kye. Sakura wrote some notes down, trying to ignore her brother. He sighed and his hand pinched her leg. Sakura jumped out of her seat.

"OW!" the teacher turned.

"Is something wrong Sakura?"

"No, just saw a bug and hit my leg is all" Sakura faked smile at her teacher. She glared at Kye who had a smile on his face. The bell rang as Kye tried to run out of the classroom, but Sakura caught the back of his shirt. Mayu and Keya with her.

"What?" Kye asked.

"Why did you pinch me!?"

"You ignored me"

"So, if you didn't notice I was writing down notes"

"You could've said so. I had to ask you something important"

"Whatever Kye!" Sakura said and let him go. She passed by him, but stomped on his foot. Kye groaned and left to his next class.

"Oh my god, how could you say that to him!?" Mayu yelled. Sakura raised her brow at her friend.

"Yeah, you stomped on Kye. I mean, he's so cute and you go hurting him. I could never do that to him"

"Yeah, and he said he had to ask you something"

"I think he likes you Sakura" Keya said. Sakura stopped and fell back on the floor. She stared blankly at the ceiling.

'He's my brother for crying out loud! Damn you, you stupid youkai laws!' Sakura thought. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she saw Kye looking down at her.

"You ok?" Sakura blinked, but nodded. She got up and brushed the dirt out of her clothing.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me" Sakura mumbled and left. Mayu and Keya ran after their friend, leaving Kye standing alone in the middle of the hallway.

"Keh, what's with her?" Kye said. He walked in to the room 'Dad is rubbing off on me'

"Can't believe you would say that about Aki. She's nice even though she-" Sakura was cut off. The were walking home from school since Kye didn't want to take the car.

"Why should I listen to you!? Your nothing, but a slut to. Fucking Naraku, yeah your a great example!" Kye blurted out. He regretted it immediately. Sakura stared at him before her hand forcefully connected with Kye's cheek. His head went to the side a bit from the force.

"How could you say that about me?" Sakura whispered. Tears rolling down her cheeks. "I hate you" Sakura masked her scent and ran off, leaving the people to stare at Kye. He touched his cheek which had a red handprint.

'Ouch' he thought. He mentally killed himself a thousand times and more. 'Great, she masked her scent. I'm such a jerk, me and my big mouth' Kye started running the direction she went, but only found her backpack on the sidewalk. 'Where is she!?'
