Kagome looked up at Shippo's school, it was bigger then the college she wanted to go to. Kagome was the perfect student and was on the road to college. She had sent out all her applications and had all ready been accepted to her dream college. Then she met Koga and they moved in together, Kagome had told him she wanted to go to college but Koga said no. He told her that he felt it was his duty to make the money. Kagome honored his wishes and stepped down from her dream to go to college and having a job. It was worth not going to college though, she had the most wonderful life, or did she? Kagome stopped thinking, she had a great life and it was bad luck to question it. She looked around Shippo's school; kids got dropped off in limos and fancy cars. A lot of the kids had cell phone, Kagome didn't even have one any more (Koga took it away because he thought that she should stay home and they had a home phone). Kagome watched Inuyasha say goodbye to Shippo,

“Now Shippo don't let the other kids boss you around,” Inuyasha told him. “Be brave!”

“I tried tell them `leave me alone!' but they pick on me all the time!” Shippo yelled.

“Don't worry, Kagome is going to stay with you and meet your teacher.” Inuyasha said. Kagome was happy to see Inuyasha was so nice to his little brother.

“Really?” Shippo asked Kagome.

“Yeah, I'm staying till lunch, then I have to leave okay?” Kagome explained.

“Yeah!” Shippo smiled.

“Have fun you two!” Inuyasha waved as he went to his car. Kagome and Shippo waved back.

Shippo grabbed Kagome hand and led her into the school and to his class. All the kids were sitting in there seats reading quietly. A young looking teacher came up to them.

“Good morning Shippo,” She said happily. “And who is your friend?” She asked.

“Miss Yura this is my new nanny Kagome.” Kagome smiled and shook the teachers hand. “Inuyasha said that Kagome should watch me during school today and meet you.”

“That was nice of your brother, how is he by the way?” She asked curiously.

“He's okay but his fiancé is annoying! I hope he leaves her soon!” Shippo said harshly.

“Me too!” Miss Yura said under her breath but Kagome heard her and pretended not to.

“What was that Miss Yura?” Shippo asked.

“Oh nothing! Go to your seat and read while I talk to… Kagome? Was it?” Miss Yura said.

“Yeah,” Shippo went to his seat in the back of the room. “Is your last name Yura?” Kagome asked.

“Oh no! I just like it better then my last name.” She said. “Call me Yura,”

Kagome nodded, “Shippo said he had problems with the other kids, is the true?” Kagome asked.

“Yes, I've noticed the other kids tease him about his size and hair color. He's the only half demon in the class, like his brother was when he went here.” Yura explained.

“Inuyasha and Shippo are half demons?” Kagome asked surprised.

“Yes, you didn't think they were human? Did you?” Yura asked.

“Oh no! I thought they were full demon, I guess I have a lot to learn,” Kagome said.

“Oh, its no problem. But between us, Inuyasha is the cutest out of all his brothers. He has a older half brother that is full demon, Shippo, and human cousin.”

Kagome faked a smile, “So you like Inuyasha?” Kagome asked. If Yura did she wouldn't blame her, Inuyasha is very good looking, he has a built body, that beautiful silver hair, and those wonderful amber eyes… Stop it Kagome! Koga is your fiancé! The second he leaves you're checking another guy out!?

“Well I think he's hot,” Yura blew her out of her thoughts, “but he's one of those workaholics. But if he asked me out I wouldn't hesitate!” Yura sighed dreamily.

Kagome faked another smile, “So Inuyasha works al lot?” Kagome asked.

“Yes, he works all the time, he inherited this big company from his father after his parents died in a car crashed a while ago. He's fixed on getting that company to its peak to make his dad proud. At least that's what I hear from Shippo,” Yura smiled at her knowledge. “ I'm going to start the lesson now so you can watch in the back.”

Kagome made her way to a chair in the back and Yura started the lesson. A couple minutes later Kagome saw some boys throwing spitballs at Shippo. Kagome got Yura's attention and pointed at what was going on, Yura stopped the immediately and put the boys in time out.

Inuyasha said in his office sighing paper with his partner, (and favorite cousin) Miroku. Inuyasha paused and rested his hand; I wonder how things with Kagome are going? I hope Yura didn't mess her up; I would want Kagome thinking I was a weirdo! Wait! Why should I care what Kagome thinks of me? I got to get her out of my mind! I'm engaged to Kikyo! God she's beautiful, she looks a lot like Kagome… But, Kagome's not as pretty! Inuyasha shook head.

“Inu? What's wrong?” Miroku asked.

“I'm fine, just this new nanny is giving me a headache.” Inuyasha rubbed his temples.

“Why? Is she ugly?” Miroku asked with big eyes.

“God! What does that have anything to do with it?” Inuyasha asked.

“So she is ugly?” Miroku said sadly.

“No, she isn't, she's actually very cute!” Inuyasha said loudly, frustrated that Miroku kept repeating himself.

“Cool! Is she single?” Miroku asked.

“No, she's engaged to a guy. I saved him the other day and she said she needed a job and Shippo liked her so now she's our nanny.” Inuyasha explained.

Miroku frowned, “I'm hurt! Why don't to tell me anything!? I thought I was your best friend!?” Miroku pretended to cry loudly.

“Oh my god! Shut up! Why should I tell you anything?” Inuyasha yelled.

“I would tell you every….”

Inuyasha interrupted him, “I don't want to hear about the disgusting things you do!” Inuyasha said.

Miroku laughed and went back to work.

Kagome stepped outside the classroom and followed Shippo to the playground. Now this looked like a regular kid place. The kids didn't look so up tight anymore, all the kids were running around, climbing on things, and playing games. Except for Shippo who sat on a bench, Kagome followed and sat next to him. Shippo watched the other kids play in envy. A little girl and her friends passed by.

“Hi Shippo!” the girl said.

“Hello Kanna!” Shippo said happily. The little girl blushed and so did Shippo. Kanna's friends pushed her along and didn't look at Shippo.

“Shippo? Who is that?” Kagome asked.

“That's Kanna, she's really pretty and nice!” Shippo said dreamily.

“So you like her?” Kagome asked smiling.

“Shh! Yea, I do but don't tell Inuyasha!” Shippo hissed.

Kagome nodded and pretended to zip her lips. Kagome saw Kanna and her friends on another bench and she sneaked looks at Shippo and Shippo looked at her too. A little romance in the making! How cute! Kagome thought and she started thinking of Koga, I hope he's okay, I have to visit him after I leave. I wonder if I have to tell Inuyasha that I'm going to visit him? Yura really likes Inuyasha, but Inuyasha is engaged just like me! I guess we have a lot in common…

Inuyasha went to his favorite coffee shop in the whole world for lunch. Miroku had made a lunch date with one of the secretaries and left him for lunch by himself. He would have invited Kikyo but all she talks about these days is the wedding and her little friends. Their relationship had gone down hill right after he proposed. Inuyasha, on many occasions had threatened to take back his proposal. Kikyo was not the kind of girl to stick with one guy; she cheated on Inuyasha a lot and had left him for different guys in the past. Inuyasha sighed heavily. When did my life change so much? Inuyasha sorted out the big things that happened in his life recently. A couple months ago Kikyo left me for Naraku… again. Then Sessh moved out to live with his girlfriend, Kagura. Kikyo came back; she said Naraku was a jerk (A different excuse every time) so I took her back. A week after that I started working at Dad's business with Miroku. A couple weeks after that Kikyo promised me she wasn't going to cheat anymore and I proposed. My family didn't approve of her so we were going to run away and get married somewhere else. Inuyasha sighed. Then Mom and Dad got in that car accident and were in the hospital. A couple of days later Mom died, then some more days later and Dad died. Kikyo still wanted to run away with him and leave all the drama behind but I couldn't leave because of Shippo. Sessh wasn't good with kids and Dad's will left almost everything to Inuyasha, even Shippo. Kikyo wanted to give Shippo to Sessh or to some other relative but I couldn't stand putting Shippo through any more disasters. Inuyasha also inherited his father's company, shared with Sessh. Sesshomaru owned a big company and is now a silent partner in their Dad's business.

Inuyasha's food came, “Thanks,” Inuyasha said.

“No problem, call me if you need anything,” the waitress said and winked at him but Inuyasha was to deep in thought by then. He also didn't realize the piece of paper she sipped onto the table, no doubly with her number on it.

At this point Inuyasha was jealous of Kagome and Koga's relationship. Koga must be a lucky guy, Kagome is a down to earth person and she obviously loves kids, she doesn't talk about her wedding all the time, has a mind of her own, she also has money but doesn't flaunt it. She's also really pretty with her big brown eyes and long black hair and her perfect body… Inuyasha realized he has drooling, and not because of the food. Inuyasha made a fist and softly hit his forehead. He had to stop doing that! Kikyo had all of those things but he keeps thinking of the nanny instead of his fiancé! Inuyasha finished his meal and paid the bill before leaving to go back to work.

Kagome had just left the Shippo's school so she could get lunch; Inuyasha had called a driver to pick her up.

“Miss Kagome, Master Inuyasha gave me a list of thing's for you to do after you had your meal.” The driver said and gave he a paper with errands on it.

Kagome nodded, “Thanks,” He has me doing errands too? Well I guess it comes with the job. The driver stopped at her favorite place to eat, it was just and diner but it was still her favorite. Kagome was getting out of the car when the driver said something. “What was that? Sorry I wasn't paying attention.” Kagome said.

“I'll wait here while you eat so I can take you to do your errands.” He repeated.

Kagome looked confused, “Have you ate yet?” the driver shook his head, “Then why don't you come inside and eat with me?” Kagome asked.

“Oh no Miss Kagome, I would be in your way!” He said.

“Come on! Please, I insist! Eat with me, I can't have you waiting in the car with an empty stomach!” Kagome insisted and opened the driver's door. The driver was good looking he had a long ponytail (longer than Koga's), and a baby face.

The driver smiled and got out of the car and they went inside together. The driver was quiet as the waited for their meals.

“So what's your name?” Kagome asked.

“Oh excuse my rudeness, I'm Bankotsu,” He said.

“Do you always talk like such a gentleman?” Kagome asked and raised an eyebrow.

“Hell no! I'm actually Inuyasha's high school bud and I needed a job so now I drive him around,” Bankotsu said.

Kagome giggled, “And makes you talk like that?”

“He said I had to for you,” Bankotsu said.

“Really?” Bankotsu nodded, “Well you don't have to with me,” Kagome smiled sweetly.

“So Kagome, you look a lot like Inuyasha's girlfriend,” Bankotsu said and sipped his drink.

“I know, it's kind of wired. But I bet were different in a lot of ways.” Kagome said and their food came and they changed the subject.
