A/M: Hey sorry for the late update! The stuff I fixed on last chapter was little stuff so you don't have to reread it. But I changed the trip to Sesshomaru's house a 3-hour drive. Review please!

Inuyasha helped Bankotsu put the suitcases into the limo. Shippo was half-asleep inside, his head occasionally drooping then straitening. Inuyasha however was fully awake and ready to leave. Inuyasha wiped a couple of sweat beads from his forehead with the back of his hand. He looked at the almost fully risen sun and still Kikyo and Miroku haven't arrived yet.

“Come on Kagome!” Inuyasha called into the house.

“Coming!” Kagome called. She came outside and handed Inuyasha and Bankotsu big mugs of coffee. Just then Miroku's car pulled up.

“Finally,” Inuyasha breathed. Miroku came out of the car and waved at them. He walked to the passenger side of the car.

Kagome almost fainted when she saw her best friend step out of the car. “Sango!” Kagome screamed. Sango's face light up and ran toward Kagome. They hugged tightly and started talking at the same time.

Miroku laughed, “I suppose they know each other?”

Inuyasha chuckled and put his hands in his pockets, “Yea, I didn't know you were dating her?”

“Small world isn't it?” Inuyasha and Miroku nodded and watched the girls talk.

“I can't believe it!” Sango said.

“I haven't seen you in weeks!” Kagome said. Kagome and Sango talked and screamed like little girls until Kikyo showed up and she didn't fail to make a statement. Kikyo stepped out of her car with her sunglasses and high heels. She was wearing a short mini skirt and a shirt that looked like her boobs were going to pop out any minute. She looks like she was going clubbing, not to meet her fiancé's family, Kagome thought. When she walked past the boys they were almost drooling like animals, Kagome made sure Sango didn't see. Kikyo went inside to freshen up while Inuyasha, Miroku, and Bankotsu had to help each other put her huge amount of suitcases into the limo.

“If it takes all that all to make her look like trash… I wonder what she looks like with out any of this stuff?” Sango whispered to Kagome as they watched the boys. Kagome giggled and rubbed Shippo's head while he napped on her lap. When Kikyo finally came out Sango and Miroku went to their car. Kagome, Shippo, Inuyasha and Kikyo went to their limo and Bankotsu dove them off with Miroku's car following behind.

Rin walked around her house with her hand behind her back, observing every detail. She ran her finger to find dust, slightly turned furniture, made last minute changes to table settings, and remade guest bedroom beds. Sesshomaru came down stairs while Rin was observing the position of picture frames.

Rin smiled when she saw Sesshomaru and giggled, “Sesshy! Your tie is loose,” Rin walked to Sesshomaru and fixed his tie. “I'm really looking forward to seeing your brothers again,” Rin said as she finished.

“Our you sure about that?” Sesshomaru said and raised his eyebrow at her.

Rin giggled, “Don't be funny, I love your family,” She said. She looked into his eyes, “But I love you more,” Rin said. Sesshomaru smiled lightly and kissed Rin's lips softly.

“Thank you,” Rin said and bit her bottom lip.

“You disserve it,” Sesshomaru put his arms around her, “Your putting a lot of work into making this place look nice for my family and friends.”

“Well, I don't want your friends and family to underestimate me because of my age.” Rin clenched her fits remembering bad memories.

Sesshomaru raised her chin to look at him. “I waited 3 years for you to turn 18 so we can be together, I wont let anybody hurt you.” Sessh said and smiled sweetly.

Rin smiled and hugged him tightly. “I love you so much!” she nuzzled her head on Sesshomaru's chest.

“Master Sesshomaru,” the butler said.

Sesshomaru cleared his throat, “Yes?”

“Your brother called, he said there is some traffic and he'll be a little late.” The butler said.

“What the hell!” Sesshomaru slammed his fist on the table. The butler was unfazed by Sesshomaru's anger unlike a couple of new maids who jumped. Rin put her hand on his shoulder reassuringly. Sesshomaru straightened up, “What else?” He asked calmly.

“He sends his regards,” The butler cleared his throat, “And Master Shippo says, `Did you buy me a present?'” The butler repeated.

Rin giggled but Sesshomaru turned away and waved the butler and maids out of the room. After everybody left her slammed the wall. “I told him to leave earlier!” Rin stood quietly, she was used to Sesshomaru's anger. “I told him there was going to be traffic! Now the food's going to get cold and…and…” Rin touched Sesshomaru's arm.

“The point is they're coming, be happy, Shippo will be thrilled by his present.” Rin touched his face, “We can wait, it will all worth it,” Rin smiled sweetly. Sesshomaru took a deep breath; Rin turned him and motioned him up stairs. “Go take a nap or play tennis, I'll take care of everything down here.”

“Are we there yet?” Shippo asked for the millionth time. Kikyo rubbed her temples and Inuyasha sighed but no one answered him. Even Bankotsu ignored him. Shippo looked around and crinkled his nose, “Well? Are we?”

“Shut up!” Kikyo yelled at him. Shippo's lower lip trembled. Kagome grabbed him and held him.

“It's okay, she doesn't mean it,” Kagome said and rubbed his back.

“I do! He hasn't shut up since we left!” Kikyo yelled and pointed her finger at him.

Shippo's stuck his tongue out at her. Kikyo was about to say something but Inuyasha put his hand on her knee. “We're just all tired and cranky,” Inuyasha said. Kagome nodded to him.

“Who you calling cranky?” Kikyo crossed her arms.

Inuyasha ignored her, “Bankotsu, maybe we should find a rest stop,” Inuyasha said.

Bankotsu nodded and drove off the freeway to a park. Miroku followed them. Shippo jumped out of the car when he saw the playground. Kagome and Sango went to watch Shippo play. Miroku was leaning on his car, rubbing his neck. “I think you read my mind,” Miroku said when Inuyasha approached him.

“It's a gift.” Inuyasha said leaned on Miroku's car, “Trouble with Sango?” Inuyasha asked and motion his head toward Sango and Kagome.

“No! It's me!” Miroku said, “ I can't think of what to say to her,” Miroku whispered.

Inuyasha raised his eyebrow, “Mr. Player nervous?” Inuyasha teased.

“Oh, shut up! I knew I couldn't ask you for advice.” Miroku crossed his arms. Inuyasha chuckled and patted him on the back. Kikyo didn't bother to get out of the car and look disgusted at Kagome, Sango and, Shippo's merriness. Miroku chuckled, “Problems with the Princess?”

Inuyasha looked shocked at first, “No!” Miroku gave him the `Don't lie' look. Inuyasha rubbed his neck, “She doesn't like Shippo and Kagome,” Inuyasha confessed.

“Why? She jealous?” Miroku asked.

“Of Shippo? No,” Inuyasha said.

Miroku shook his head, “Yea she is… and of Kagome too,”

“Why would she be jealous of Kagome?” Inuyasha asked.

“Oh god your clueless!” Miroku said. “ She might think your falling in love with Kagome, you do spend a lot of time with her.”

“But I'm not!” Inuyasha said. He look at Kagome, she felt his eyes on her and waved at him. Kikyo saw her waving and saw Inuyasha waving back, her eyes narrowed and she pouted. Bankotsu noticed and he looked at Kikyo and noticed how pretty she looked when she was mad. She looked back at him and he blushed and turned away. Kikyo couldn't help but be intrigued.

When they finally got on the road everybody tried to be on there best behavior. Inuyasha put his arm around Kikyo; she laid her head on Inuyasha's chest. She smiled smugly at Kagome, but Kagome just rolled her eyes. Inuyasha just looked out the window, Kikyo smelled like she was bathed hairspray and perfume. It made Inuyasha cough a little. Kagome was looking out the window too when she thought of Koga. I hope he's doing better and doesn't miss me too much. Kagome sighed, but I sure do miss him, dear God make him better! It's going to be horrible not spending Thanksgiving with Koga. Kagome felt her face get hot and her eyes welling up with tear so she tried to focus on something else.Shippo began to squirm so Kagome started playing games with him.

“Yay! I win!” Shippo yelled proudly.

Kagome giggled, “Good job! It's hard to believe this is your first time playing!” Kagome commented.

“Can you too keep it down?” Kikyo asked, her mirror up to her face and fixing her makeup.

“No,” Shippo said and crossed him arms.

Kikyo was about to say something but Inuyasha cut in, he was bored out of his mind, “Why don't we join the game Honey?” Inuyasha asked.

Kikyo crinkled her eyes, “No thank you!” She said and went back to fixing her makeup.

Kagome rolled her eyes then looked at Inuyasha. He looked torn about something, “Inuyasha, do you want to join?” Inuyasha raised him eyebrow at her but had a smiled on his face, “It's more fun with more people,” Kagome smiled back.

“Sure, why not,” Inuyasha said. The rest of the ride Kikyo had a sour look on her face while the others had fun.

Miroku looked at Sango in the corner of his eye, she was looking at her hands in her lap. She sighed once in a while and yawned a lot. They both tried to start a conversation with small talk but it always failed.

Sango bit her bottom of her lip, “So…” Sango said.

“Yeah?” Miroku interrupted her.

“Have you met Inuyasha's brother before?” She said in her attempt to start a conversation.

“Yeah, he stops in once in while to check in on the company and Shippo.” Miroku answered.

“Oh, that's nice.” Sango said and went back to looking at her hands.

Soon they were all in front of a huge estate and a couple was there to greet them. When Kagome stepped out of the car she was nailed by a hug that almost knocked her over.

“Hi, I'm Rin!” the girl said with a huge sweet smile. Up close the girl looked younger than Kagome, she can't be more that eighteen years old, Kagome thought.

“Hi, I'm Kagome, Shippo's nanny.” Kagome said and smiled back trying to hide her confusion.

Inuyasha and Miroku shook hands with Sesshomaru. He looks like an older look version of Inuyasha. And everybody got a tight hug from Rin. She was a very cute, short girl; she had long hair and was trying to look as old as possible. But when Shippo tried to slip quietly out of the car Sesshomaru caught him.

“What is this?” Sesshomaru gabbed Shippo's arm and pointed to his face.

“Your little brother.” Inuyasha smugly.

“Don't give me that crap! What happened to his eye?” Sesshomaru yelled. Obviously he was hurting Shippo's arm because Shippo was scratching and trying to pull away from his brother. Kagome wanted to stop him but was too afraid to go near Sesshomaru. She looked at everybody for help but everybody look just as scared as she was except for Rin. She had a look of disappointment on her face.

“He got in a fight, what do you think happened?” Inuyasha yelled back.

“How could you yet this happen?” Sesshomaru must have squeezed Shippo's arm because he let out a little squeal. Sesshomaru felt someone grab his wrist and Shippo leave his grasp. He turned around and Rin had Shippo in her arms.

Once Shippo calmed down Rin clapped her hands together, “Lets go inside,” Rin said with a smiled on her face as if nothing happened. She motioned everybody inside but stopped Sesshomaru. Inuyasha and Kagome saw and stopped to watch, they hid behind a big plant on the porch. Rin looked angry, “Why did you have to do that?” Rin hissed.

“I'm sorry…”

“No! I told you to watch your anger!” Rin straightened up. Inuyasha and Kagome looked at each other, “I had to embarrass you, and I didn't want to do that!” Sesshomaru listened to her talk, “Please call Inuyasha outside, handle your problems like a gentleman, and leave your little brother out of it!” Rin turned away she was about to go inside she spotted Inuyasha and Kagome behind the plant. Inuyasha and Kagome stood up quickly and weren't really sure what to say.

“Is this what I think it is?” Rin asked.

“Um… I dropped my bag,” Kagome blurted out, “and all my stuff fell out.”

“I was helping her,” Inuyasha added. And they both nodded nervously

“Sure it did,” Rin winked at them, “I wont tell anybody about this,” Rin whispered and skipped inside.
