“Daddy, Daddy!”

 

Inuyasha looked to see his tiny Ameashi running toward him. He caught her and lifted her up in his arms. At four years old she was the spitting image of her mother. Raven hair and deep brown eyes meshed with Kagome's pail skin.

 

Inuyasha spun his daughter around just to hear her beautiful giggle. Kagome smiled as she watched from the porch of their home. She rubbed her swollen belly as a tiny foot gave a kick inside of her. She was five months pregnant and it was showing. The doctors were able to tell her and her husband that it was a boy. Inuyasha had been glad saying he didn't want to be surrounded by females only.

 

Ameashi only seemed to be one-fourth demon and only showed signs of it on the new moon like her father. Inuyasha was proud. Their family was a small, happy one and with a new addition arriving soon it would be even bigger and happier.

 

“Inuyasha! Ameashi! Dinner's ready!” Kagome called.

 

They stopped their playing on the grassy lawn and walked toward her hand in hand. Kagome kissed her daughter on the head before Ameashi ran inside to wash up. Kagome turned to her husband. He smirked and kissed her tenderly. “Mmm,” he growled happily in his throat. “You taste delicious, Kagome.”

 

Kagome, even after all this time, still blushed from his words.

“Now, come on,” he said as he walked passed her and gave her a smack on the bottom. “Let's go inside.”

 

“I'll be right in,” Kagome said softly.

 

He locked eyes with her lovingly then turned and entered the house. Kagome stood there and sighed contentedly. She looked to the blue sky and thanked the heavens above for her wonderful life with Inuyasha. She looked around and smiled gently. It didn't matter where they were, in the feudal era or here and now. As long as she was with Inuyasha, she was home.

A/N: so, that's it. The end :] I hope everyone enjoyed and didn't mind my lack of detail of Inuyasha's return. I didn't feel that it was as important as their reunion. Sorry I took so long to update, I'm sure most of you forgot about this fic, lol. And thanx to anyone that has/will review this fic ^_^
