Author's Note: Okay.. I haven't written a fic in let's see..forever. To be exact, about a year and a half, if not more. Well, this is an early warning. I started this out of boredom and I probably won't update often if at all. So don't come FLAMING me when its RIGHT HERE, the WARNING! It ISNT appreciated. I don't have a lot of time for writing or anything else, so don't expect updates. I might update once a month if I don't forget. I most likely will forget.

Somewhere in a forest a few meters away from camp:

Her grey blue eyes gazed at the moon which floated in the midnight blue sky. 'mou.. he has to get mad all the time! It's so unfair! All I wanted to do was go home!' "Does he always have to be such a jerk about it?!" she muttered to herself.

"That is how my little half brother is" replied a very familiar monotone voice.

Kagome's head jerked up. She blinked at realization of the voice's owner. 'OMG! I'm here alone, in a forest, ALONE with THE Sesshoumaru. Damn, how many lives do I have left?? I am SO dead!' "W-w-what are you doing here?" She turned her head towards the direction the voice was coming from to see Sesshoumaru appear from the shadows of the forest.

"Are you saying that I, Sesshoumaru, have to ask someone's permission to enter a forest such as this?" His voice hinted his annoyance at the annoying human. 'Quite a captivating human at that.' He shook his head mentally, ridding of his unwanted thoughts. Their eyes met for a second before Kagome turned away.

'Oh my god, his eyes...' She shakes her head, not even wanting to think of how the thought would end. 'How come I'm not dead yet?' She turned her gaze back at him. "What is it that you want? If you're here for the Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha wont give it to you."

He arched a brow. "What my intentions are is not of a human's business."

"..hmph..acting all high and mighty.." Kagome muttered under her breath, forgetting that the great demon lord with his acute hearing could hear that. In less than five seconds, she was pinned to a nearby tree with a clawed hand at her neck.

"Keep your comments to yourself unless you want to be some wolf demon's next meal, you lowly human." He expected her to break down and crying, so her reaction shocked him quite a bit, although he revealed none on his calm face.

"I'd rather be a wolf's next meal than being here with you or with that BAKA Inuyasha! AND I HAVE A NAME! It's KAGOME!! KA-GO-ME!" She glared up at him. He inwardly winced at the volume of her voice and raised a brow. 'I wonder what my wimpy little half brother did to get her this worked up.' He tightened his grip causing her to gasp for air.

"Lower your voice, miko. Or I will not hestitate in tightening my grip some more so you cannot utter another word."

"Hmph, whatever."

Sesshoumaru stares down at the girl. "You are one interesting little human. You may be good for Rin. I shall take you with me and allow you to entertain her." 'She does need another human around. She IS human after all. Jaken does a poor job of taking care of her. He gets her lost half the time.'

"WHAT?! I'm not going anywhere with you!!"

"You don't have a choice in the matter." He throws her over his shoulder and flies into the air. His destination: His castle in the western lands.

"YAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!" she screamed as he took off. This time he visibly winced.

"Shut your petty little mouth." She immediately shut up. Kagome was suddenly getting very sleepy. Without warning, she was dropped. She landed on the red cloud with a thump. "Itai.." she rubbed her sore bottom. "What was that for?!" She shot a glare at his back. No reply.

"Hmph" 'Arrogant demon lords..' She soon fell asleep. The demon lord looked behind him and was surprised to find she was asleep. He expected her to be nervous or crying her eyes out like most humans would in his presence, but not this miko. She fell asleep! He noticed her shivering and sat down besides her, placing his tail on her to keep her warm. Immediately, she stopped shivering and smiled in her sleep, wrapping an arm around his tail. He narrowed his eyes at her still form. 'Why am I doing this?' He didn't know, so shook his head and concentrated on getting back to his home.

A few minutes later at camp:

"Where is that wench???" Inuyasha had woken up in the middle of the night to find his shard detector missing. The others woke up along with him..thanks to the 'WHERE IS THAT WENCH???' He hears a familiar voice in the distance. 'That's Kagome's voice! She's screaming!'

"Did you do something to Kagome-chan again???" Sango grabbed her Hiraikotsu, ready to pound a certain dog.

"Yes yes, did you anger Kagome-sama again?"

"KAGOOOMEEEE!!!!!" Shippo wailed. He missed her already and blamed Inuyasha for her being missing. After all, it was always Inuyasha's fault.

"I didn't do anything to that bitch!" Inwardly, he was worried. He takes a wiff of the air. He picked up Kagome's scent and a familiar scent mingling with hers. His eyes widened in shock and growls at no one in particular except an imaginary Sesshoumaru.

"SESSHOUMARU!!!" Inuyasha howled up at the half moon in the night sky. 'I'm coming to get you. Be safe.' (a few miles away, a certain demon lord looked behind him and swore he heard his name.)

"Sesshoumaru? You're saying Sesshoumaru is with Kagome-chan? We have to get to her!" Sango had her Hiraikotsu on her back and her katana in her sash and was already in her exterminating uniform.

"Indeed, we must hurry if we are to save Kagome from harm. Being near Sesshoumaru is indeed dangerous." Miroku was on his feet and ready to head off at once with a look of determination on his handsome face.

Everyone ran around gathering their things in preparation of Kagome's rescue. Inuyasha was already off, jumping from tree to tree heading west.

"Kirara!" at Sango's voice, Kirara immediately transformed into her bigger cat form. With Miroku and Sango on her back and Shippo on Sango's shoulder, she took off towards the direction in which Inuyasha sped off.

So, how was it? ^^ I know it isnt very long, but please bear with it. Also, please give me ideas in the reviews! ^^ I really need help. I will probably edit this several times before the next chapter comes out, if there will be a next chapter at all. I would also like to know if this should be continued.
