Ch 2 Kagome the Miko

“Inuyasha, have a seat please." Finrell was looking at his papers as Inuyasha's eyes wondered to the lovely sight that sat next to him. Her hair was the darkest color of black that anyone could find. Her eyes were one of the brightest brown he had ever seen. As for her body, it was the best shape and size. Wow, did he just think that? Wait a min., something about her made him feel a bit weird. He had seen her before not long ago. That’s when it hit him. She looked like that other miko he had killed a couple hours back. Kikyo, yet this woman had a wonderful aura.

“Nervous?" She said to him. She sure looked it.

“Ok, Inuyasha I like for you to meet Kagome. A demon named Naraku is after her and she needs your protection. She is also a powerful miko so that is why I have decided to make her your partner for future missions." That snapped Inuyasha out of his gaze.

“What! Sorry I work alone."

If this is what a half demon looked like then Kagome wanted to know about full demons. His eyes glowed of an eerie gold but it seemed it could sooth a broken soul. His hair was that of a crystal white making the darkness of the room bearable. He was built and looked like he could destroy poor Kagome in one single swipe of his claws. But that thought went away when she spotted those cute triangle dog ears on top of his head. She was trying hard not to reach out and pet him.

“Not anymore you work with Kagome. I have already dispatched some other agents to take care of Naraku so you have some time off to get to know her better." Kagome didn't like the idea of being baby-sat and having to stay alone with the half-demon. He didn't seem too fond of her. At least he knew she was here. Koga, who was really trying to get a case, seemed to miss her scent completely.

“Fuck it! There’s no fucking way that I will have a woman as my partner" That’s it Kagome had enough!

“Shut up! My powers surpass your demon ones more than you can ever know so if I were you I would be happy to be in the presence of a miko. Got it you damn puppy!" She got up from her chair and went to the door and before she added, " I am sick of this place already Uncle Finrell. I will be with Sango and Miroku so don't worry about me being alone. And as for you Inuyasha, Meet us at the Pandolla. All three of us will be there." And then she was out of the room muttering, you have more than a woman for a partner Inuyasha.

Inuyasha left Finrell's office in a mess. An hour of agreeing only caused wasting his time. Though he was glad he didn't have a case, he hated the fact that he had to babysit some little wench, a hot wench at that. Who wears those kinds of cloths? A red tube top and a short skirt to match! She was dying for attention, in her uncle’s office! Or was she trying to get his attention? Pondolla, it was a little coffee shop in this place opened all day and night. He never went there at night so that’s got to be the reason he never heard of Sango and Miroku. Taking the elevator that was located down the hall he went to the cafe's floor after waving goodbye to Sakura.

“Sango, he was hot but a total jerk"

“Everyone knows that Inuyasha is the top agent. He never had a partner before. Just let him get used to it."

“My dear Sango is right, Kagome. Sango couldn't stand me at first but look at us now." Kagome giggled at that but stopped when she saw were Miroku's hand was going.

“It’s because you are such a hentai, love" Sango grabbed Miroku's hand before it could reach her behind. “On your first day here you asked me to bear your children"

“And look at us now, married and happy."

“Kagome, there you are! You didn't say you were in the back. Let’s go!"

“Great he’s here. See you guys later." Kagome left and met up with Inuyasha in the front, then followed him to the car.

“I’m tired so when I wake up we'll talk. Got it?"

“Sure, might as well get some rest." And off they went to his apartment.
