Kagome screamed his name but he was already on the move. Kagura’s dead minions not only moved to the dance of her fan but also attacked as they did before they were killed. Kagome jumped around trying to get to Inuyasha but he was already attempting to slash away at the woman. They more she tried to get near the fight the worst it got. Kagura and Kikyo weren’t after her…They were trying to kill Inuyasha first. Kagome’s heart clenched as she realized that Inuyasha seemed to know this fact and that’s why she was alone.

“Can you not tell you are not getting anywhere Inuyasha?” Kagura chuckled as she threw yet another corpse in the path of Inuyasha sword. “I have plenty of dead corpses even if they are cut into two it just makes it so I have more to cover myself with.”

Inuyasha kept slashing not knowing exactly what to do to get to her. He had only one idea but it would take out the rest of the people that were still alive in the area. He needed a way to warn them and make them move or get to a better place.

“Inuyasha we know what you’re planning” Kikyo cackled. “Did I not tell you I get wiser with every battle? You can’t use your windscar here. Even if you could do so without harming anyone here you would blow a very important part of the building making it collapse.” She smiled as she watched the half-breed struggle.

Sadly she was right about the building. He had to think. There had to be a flaw in their plan even if it seemed they had caught every detail. He could…’no’ he stopped his plan for a sec. It would pose the same problem as the windscar the only thing is he could control how it will it. ‘Would that be enough?’ he thought. He never tried to suppress the power of his blade before; he didn’t even know if it would work.

She was trapped but she knew Inuyasha was in a far worst state then everyone else. He was trying to control his attacks to not hurt others but in return those dead corpses were slowly making its way towards him their weapons aimed to kill the first chance they could get. “Sango,” Kagome screamed as she tried to search for her friend around the rumble of dead bodies.

“Kagome keep calling out to me.” She heard back barely “I and Miroku have a plan to protect you and the rest of these people seeing as Inuyasha has the only leeway to these two.” Sango screamed as Kagome could faintly hear her call out over and over, closer and closer, “Everyone please follow my voice and meet up slowly make your way through here.” Kagome kept screaming her name realizing they were meeting up where she was seeing as Kagura was making sure not to allow Kagome to move much.

‘Perfect,’ Inuyasha thought as he started to guard himself against Kagura’s attacks. She had called upon more corpses so any progress he had made was all taken away as he used his sword to block the corpse’s attacks. He could hear the conversation going on behind him only thanks to his dog ears so he knew there would be time for him to finally attack at full force. Hopefully that is if they can protect themselves fast enough before he is completely overrun by corpses.

Kagome sighed in relief as she finally saw her friend make it through to her. She was followed by a very tired looking Miroku and a bunch of agents that were bleeding badly. “Finally we did it. Miroku, just a bit longer and this will hopefully be all over.” Sango said as in that moment Miroku placed what looked to be paper on the ground and casted a barrier around them all. “Now Inuyasha,” Sango yelled as Miroku started to chant underneath his breath.

Hearing that, Inuyasha forcefully threw back every corpse using the full power of his sword. Starting a charge he grasped Tessaiga as it changed its formed. Somewhat sparkling, Inuyasha threw up his sword and yelled “Adamant Barrage,” as he swung it down at Kagura.

Kagura grinned, “Is that the best you got?” She said as she gathered the corpse around her like armor, but the attack was much stronger then she had thought. It broke threw her dead corpses and went straight threw her stomach holding her there like a rag doll.

“Keh,” Inuyasha called as he watched the rest of the corpses around them drop the minute she got struck. “I could have done better.” He called enjoying the shock on Kagura’s face. Lifting his blade to finish her off he stopped mid swing as he smelt something that made his blood run cold…Kagome’s blood.

Kikyo watched the wind demon barely cling onto life. She knew it was time for their other plan. She strung her bow, now having a perfect sight at the group, shot her arrow and broke the barrier Miroku had made. With a second arrow she charged her power into it.

Kagome grasped her arm as she looked around her. All but she, Sango, and Miroku were dead. Miroku’s sutras had used the last of its powers to protect their owner as Sango’s demon armor guarded her from the attack. Kagome’s power had suppressed Kikyo’s power but the arrow had hit her above her elbow so the tip of Kikyo’s power was still fighting Kagomes. Kagome screamed in pain as the fight between them continued.

“Kagome,” Inuyasha said panic reaching his voice. Not dealing the last blow made Kagura able to come to her senses and flea from the area, Kikyo tagging behind her. He quickly made it to her side almost pulling the arrow from her when Miroku knocked his hand away. As Miroku attempted to remove the arrow from her Inuyasha came to his senses knowing that if he had been the one to do so he would have been killed…He held her close as the arrow finally made its way out making her cry and cling to Inuyasha.

They all sat there for a good amount of time fully knowing that they were a couple of the last from Demon Inc.
