CH.1

Kagome made her way down the fairly busy street.

She hadn't seen any signs of 'The Tribe' or 'The Executioners' for almost a week and hoped they had finally given up. Her hope washed down the drain when she spoted him.

'Oh shit!'

She cursed to herself.

She recognized him as Ginta, one of Kouga's men.

Kouga was the leader of 'The Tribe', the only gang of equal power to Hojo's gang, 'The Executioners'.

Kagome felt the man's eyes on her as she fled.

'Shit shit shit!'

She kept repeating in her mind over and over again as she ran as fast as she could.

Kagome paused when she reached the edge of the city, and looked into the darkness of Tokyo forest.

She glanced behind her to see Ginta coming closer.

'Well, it's either the forest or that guy.'

Kagome reasoned in her mind, deciding to take her chances in the dense forest.

She quickly entered the forest and ran as fast as her legs would allow her to go. Unfortunitally....it wasn't fast enough.

A man bounded from tree to tree through the forest, looking for a quick meal.

Suddenly he heard an ear peircing scream.

'What the hell was that?'

The man wondered as he changed directions and headed to the source of the sound.

Kagome ran through the forest, when suddenly the demon jumped in front of her.

She saw it coming and went to dodge it but wasn't fast enough and the demon managed to graze her stomach.

Kagome felt the pain but ignored it as she rezumed running for her life.

'Shit...ouch...shit!'

Kagome cursed over and over in her mind.

'Shit, what do I do? Damnit, she's gaining."

Kagome though, looking back wehn she heard the demons menacing laughter to see that Ginta was about to tackle her.

She let out a shriek when she suddenly triped over an upturned tree root, causing her to fall and hit her head on a rock, rendering her unconscious.

The demon laughed evily as he looked down upon the helpless girl.

"Kouga will be very pleased with me for capturing this human wench."
Ginta said aloud as he grabed Kagome and slung her over his shoulder roughly.

Ginta turned around and began to walk away when suddenly a man with long silver hair and beautiful golden eyes jumped in front of him.

"Put her down and tell me what I want to know and I might spare your life."

The man growled at the weak demon.

The demon looked like he might just take him up on his offer for a second, then realization crossed his face.

"A worthless half breed such as yourself has no business making threats, this doesn't concern you."

The demon said in mock tone as he took a "threatening" step forward.

The man sighed.

'I am really getting tired of these worthless demons presuming I'm weak just because I'm a hanyou.'

The man thought bitterly.

"I gave you a fair warning."

The man said in a bored tone as he cracked his knuckles.

Before the demon could move, the man had already sliced off the arm that was holding Kagome, causing her to fall. The man caught her easily and lay her down gently.

"Who are you?"

The demon asked in surprise at his unexpected strength.

"My name's Inu Yasha. Unfortunitally for you your giving me a headache so I'm gonna have to kill you."
The man named Inu Yasha said annoyed, rubbing his temples.

The demon looked slightly shocked, but charged at Inu Yasha knowing all too well that he wouldn't live to see another day.

Inu Yasha walked over the demons body and over to the girl who was still unconscious.

It wasn't until then did he notice she was injured.

'Why didn't I smell her blood before?'

Inu Yasha wondered as he squatted down in front of her and looked at her stomach.

"Stupid conscious."

Inu Yasha mumbled as he picked the unconscious woman up in a bridlestyle fassion and carried her off towards his home.

"Sir, I'm afraid that Ginta hasn't checked in yet."

A scout reported over a cell phone.

"What were his orders?"

Another man asked.

"He was one of the scouts looking for the Higurashi woman."

The man reported nervously, afraid of what his boss might do.

"Alright, good work Hakaku. Go to and see what's keeping him. And keep a good eye out for Kagome as well."

The man named Hakaku heard his boss on the other end of the phone tell him.

"Yes Kouga, I'll get right on it."

Hakaku answered, relieved at how calm his boss was taking the news as they hung up and headed to where Ginta was assigned to work.

Inu Yasha ran through the forest silently.

Every once and a while glancing down at the sleeping girl in his arms.

'What would a girl like her have to do with Kouga?'

Inu Yasha asked himself silently as he came to a mountain.

He swiftly jumped straight up and onto a hidden cliff, and walked into the hidden cave.

The cave was obviously his home. The floor was surprisingly clean, as if it had been swept and moped. There was a king size bed towards the back with a black and red quilt covering it and two fluffy red pillows near the top. Towards the right there was a small pool of water that flowed in through an under water spring.

To the right was a fire pit and a hole in the roof to ventilate the smoke. A few feet away from the fire pit was a door that led to the bathroom.

(Yea I know...How is there a bathroom in that cave? Well this is my story and I'm queen B, so lets just say that he's very smart and came up with a pluming system, k?)

Inu Yasha walked to the back of the cave and placed Kagome down onto the end of the bed. He walked over to the end of the bed and opened a chest that was sitting at the head of the bed, and pulled out some disenfectant ointment and bandages.

He walked over to the slumbering girl and sat down next to her.

'Ok, now how am I gonna bandage her without seeming like a fucking perv?' Inu Yasha wondered to himself as he looked down at what she was wearing. Kagome had on a pair of baggy blue jeans and a loose red, sleevless shirt that tied up the back.

Her hair was up in a high ponytail and she wore little to no makeup.

"SInce when do I care? If she gets mad and calls me a perv then she'll have to fucking deal with it.'

Inu Yasha decided as he noticed that her already red shirt was darkening as blood began to soak it.

Inu Yasha lifted Kagome into a sitting position and untied the back of her shirt. He carefully pulled the shirt off and layed her back down.

He examined the four fairly deep scratch marks that went across her stomache diagnolly from under her left breast all the way down to just above her bellybutton.

He noticed how quickly she was losing blood and took off his shirt to try and stop the bleeding, while trying to avoid eye contact with her black lacy bra.

Inu Yasha was wearing a pair of faded blue jeans and a black t-shirt.

He held his shirt over her wound until he was sure the bleeding had stoped.

He cleaned her wound with some water from the spring and rubbed some disinfectant on it.
After he finished wrapping the bandages around her waist, he went and got her one of his shirts and carefully put it on her before going back and grabing one for himself.

'Now all I gotta do is wait till she wakes up.'

Inu Yasha thought as he went back out into the forest to find food for himself and his new guest.
