The Truth

Inuyasha had gone too far this time, his cruel words and glares had finally broken the weak emotional shield Kagome had. She was running now, not caring where she went or what happened to her, the scene plagued her mind in a never ending movie in her mind.

~~~~Flashback~~~~

"Inuyasha stop! Please!" Kagome's pleas fell on deaf ears. Inu-Yasha was beating her little pup, Shippo was crying and trying to get away.

"You fucking kit! Stay away from my food!"

"Inuyasha! SIT!"

Various curses were muffled by the ground his head was now buried in. Scooping the kit into her arms she glared at Inuyasha that sent shivers down his back. A look that said, "Touch him again and I WILL kill you!" Soothing Shippo and healing him with her soft touch. She turned after giving a long stream of `sits' and ran. She ran as fast and far as she could.

She panted and stumbled to a halt, leaning forward she tried to catch the breath that was failing her. Her sides ached with pain, feeling like bees were stinging her side. Looking around she noticed she didn't know where the hell she was. Shiver ran up her back as she felt someone watching her, a cold stare.
