Chapter 2

[Crash]

A loud crashing sound echoed within the airport lobby as a Delta employee accidentally bumped into Kagome, dropping his belongings.

Inuyasha turned around to in search for the crash

Inu Pov

`What the hell was that!' he thought as the crashing sound deafened him.

"What was that?" Sesshoumaru curiously asked on the other line.

"I have to go, bye boss." Inuyasha answered hurriedly as he scanned the area for the cause of his deafening.

His eyes wandered around until they came upon a woman trying to help a guy gather his stuff.

At other instances, Inuyasha would just brush it off and go on with life, but he thought otherwise as he gazed upon `that' woman.

Staring at her for what seemed like and eternity, he noticed her shapely figure as her black hair came down in waves up to her waist.

Suddenly Inuyasha was tempted to look at her eyes. As if she heard his thoughts, she looked up and locked gazes with him.

Kag Pov

" Don't worry! It's okay. I just really have to go or I'll be late for my appointment" Kagome lied as she struggled to gather the man's belongings and leave…

As she stood up, her eyes landed upon two golden orbs that made her heart skip a beat.

"Thank you for your help, Ms……?" the man said politely, disrupting her from her thoughts.

"Oh, Kagome. My name is Kagome." She answered truthfully as she scanned the place for those two rare eyes.

Again, she found them and noticed his long, silver hair locked up in a low ponytail.

`Silver' she thought. `The only person I know with silver hair is my boyfriend, but that's obviously not him.'

She put all her thoughts aside as she regretfully turned away from him and walked away, her heart still pounding rapidly in her chest.

Inu Pov

He watched her as she walked towards the door. A stab of disappointment struck him as she walked away.

He looked at her back, from head to foot, stopping at one particular are - her ass.

`Wow! She's got a nice ass, but what is that red stain?'

He gathered all his thoughts as he realized what `it' was exactly.

He hurriedly took off his jacket and prepared to throw it at her.

"Hey Miss, with the gray skirt!"

Kagome turned around as she realized the voice was referring to her and was instantly hit by a jacket.

"Hey! What was that for?!" she yelled.

"I suggest that you should put it on."

"Why? I'm not cold and besides you shouldn't go around throwing jackets at random people. It's extremely rude!"

"Feh! I was only trying to help."

"No you weren't"

"Yes I was"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"No"

"Yes"

"HA! I got you there! So just put the thing on already." Inuyasha yelled annoyed.

"Why should I?!" Kagome demanded.

"Because you're bleeding!" Inuyasha just realized what he said and started blushing.

"Wh-Wh- Wha…What!" she reached behind her and felt that her bottom was damp and realized what it was by its color. That's when she matched Inuyasha's blush. She hurriedly put the jacket on, covering her problem.

Kagome looked at his eyes and recognized it as the same eyes she looked at before.

"You're Welcome." Inuyasha smiled.

"Thank you." Kagome blushed an even deeper shade of red. "My name is Kagome by the way."

"Feh, like I care." Inuyasha huffed immaturely, pretending not to be interested.

But out of respect, he replied, "mines Inuyasha…"

"Feh, like I care," said Kagome, trying to imitate his tone, while still keeping eye contact. A moment of uncomfortable silence passed by when Inuyasha finally broke it.

"Well… umm… see ya."

"Ya… see ya."

"Wait don't you want your jacket back?"

"You can give it to me if we `ever' see each other again." Inuyasha gave her one of his rare smiles and walked away, pondering what just happened.

"Yah… bye" Kagome whispered as she too, walked away, not knowing that, that would not be the last time she saw `that' man-Inuyasha- again.
