Chapter 1
Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Miroku, Sango and Kilala were camping outside Kaede's hut. Inuyasha sat by the campfire talking to Kagome.
"Kagome, I wanted to thank you for helping me kick Naraku's ass. He was really starting to piss me off. I'm glad I finally got rid of that bastard."
"Inuyasha, you don't have to thank me for anything." Everyone else was surprised to hear him thanking her.
"What's with them?" asked Shippo in a very curious way. "Why is Inuyasha being so nice to Kagome?"
"Maybe you'll understand a little better when you're a little older, Shippo!" shouted Miroku angrily. Shippo started to cry. Sango walked over to them and slapped Miroku in the back of the head and went to Shippo who was still crying on Kilala's shoulder.
"Don't get upset over that." Sango said to him. "He's just pissed off from that argument we had last night. I slapped the shit out of him for being a sick ass pervert like he always is. We argued for an hour or two until he fell asleep. Then I went to go for a swim in the hot spring and talk with Kagome." Shippo stopped crying and fell asleep in Sango's lap.
Chapter 2
The next morning, everyone said good-bye to Kaede and set off to collect the remaining shards of the shikon jewel. Kilala transformed into her larger form and they mounted her back. Thew flew on Kilala for a while until Sango saw an injured child on the ground in pain.
Sango shouted to Kilala, "Stop! We need to help this child before she dies!" She went to the child and asked her, "Do you need help?" The child didn't answer. She had her left hand covering a huge wound on her neck. Kagome ran over to Sango and the girl, followed by Inuyasha, Miroku, and Shippo.
"May I please see your wound?" Miroku asked to the girl. The girl took her hand off her wound and it bled heavily. The girl became unconscious and Kagome laid the child on her lap.
"Oh no! The girl is freezing!" said Kagome. Miroku took a blanket from Kagome's overstuffed bag and carefully wrapped the girl in it so he didn't get blood on the blanket. He carried the girl over to Kilala and mounted. Sango, Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo also mounted.
Sango shouted, "Kilala! Take us back to Kaede's place and please hurry!" Kilala obeyed Sango and flew as quickly as she could until they reached the hut.
Chapter 3
Sango and Miroku knocked on the door and told Kaede, "This little girl needs our help! If you can't help her, she will die!"
"I'll see what I can do." replied Kaede. She took the child from Miroku's arms and laid her on a bed in the corner of one of the bedrooms. She turned to Kagome and asked, "Do you have any washcloths and bandages that I could use?"
"Sure, Kaede! Inuyasha, could you please go into my bag, get the cloths and bandages, and hand them to Kaede?" Inuyasha did as he was asked.
"Is the kid gonna be okay, old woman?" Inuyasha asked to Kaede.
"I don't know. She's lost a lot of blood."
"Do you need any help, Kaede?" asked Sango worrying about the girl.
"Thanks, Sango!" Kaede answered as Sango grabbed the bandages from her and held them. When Kaede was finished Sango wrapped the girl's wound and watched over her. Then, Miroku walked into the room and sat next to Sango.
"What's wrong, Sango?" he asked when he saw tears running down her face.
"I'm just thinking about the girl. I'm really worried about her." Miroku put his arms around her body to comfort her.
"Sango, am I making you feel uncomfortable by having my arms around you like this? If I am, I can stop"
"No! You can keep your arms around me just as long as you don't try anything that is indecent." Miroku hugged Sango to his chest and kissed her soft lips. She put her arms around him and kissed his lips in return. He carried her to a bed in the next bedroom and laid her down next to him. He sat up and took his clothes off and she did the same. They draped a thin sheet over themselves. Miroku put one of his hands on her neck and rubbed it in a sexual manner while his other hand rubbed up and down her back. She put her hands on his neck and kissed his chest. He lowered his hands to her stomache and kissed her all over her body. She put her hands around his shoulders and laid her head down on his chest. They french kissed each other, did some sexual acts, and fell asleep in each other's arms.
Sango woke up a few hours later, put her clothes back on, and went into the other room and checked on the child who was sleeping peacefully under the warm blankets. Sango stayed awake to watch over the girl and prayed that she would live through the night.
Chapter 4
The girl woke up the next morning and saw Sango watching over her.
"How are you feeling?" Sango asked her. The girl still could not answer. Her neck had been so severely wounded that she was temporarily unable to speak. She took a piece of paper and a pencil from the side table drawer next to the bed and wrote a frightening message on the paper. When she finished she handed it to Sango.
Sango read the message softly to herself. She was alarmed by the words that were written on the paper.
"Miroku! Wake up!" she yelled, waking him up.
"What is it, Sango?" he asked.
"Take a look at this! The girl is trying to tell us something." Then Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Kaede, and Kilala ran into the room.
"What's wrong?" asked Kagome.
"It must be urgent." said Inuyasha. "It says: That monster must pay."
"What does she mean by the monster?" Miroku asked.
"I don't like the sound of this!" said a very worried Shippo. They looked at the message again to find out clues as to who committed this terrible crime.
"Maybe the monster is a demon." said Kaede.
"Did a demon do this?" asked Sango. The girl nodded her head.
"What demon did this to you?" asked a very pissed off Inuyasha. Then, the girl started to make a sound like she was about to talk. Inuyasha asked her the question again in a nicer tone.
"Na-ra-ku!" the girl replied. She started to cry in Kaede's arms.
"Naraku! I knew it! I thought I killed that fuckin' son-of-a-bitch! Damn him!" said Inuyasha who was now angrier than before.
Chapter 5
A few weeks later while Sango and Miroku were bathing in the hot spring, the girl wanted to speak with Sango.
"Miroku, can you excuse me for a moment?" Sango asked Miroku.
"Sure, Sango." Sango stepped out of the water and slipped her robe over her bikini. She walked with the girl to the hut and went into the bedroom and shut the door for privacy.
Sango asked the girl "What do you want to talk to me about?"
"I came to talk to you about Naraku. He was the one who hurt me. He was trying to make me kill my family and friends. I refused to kill them so Naraku slashed my neck with a knife and left me to die in the forest. Then you guys found me and took care of me. I wanted to thank you for saving my life. My name is Kaia by the way"
"You're welcome, Kaia. My name is Sango." Sango and Kaia went into the livingroom where everyone now was. Inuyasha and Miroku were playing strip poker with cards that belonged to Kagome. Kaede was reading a book on herbal medicines. Shippo and Kilala were sleeping in the corner of the room and Kagome was writing in her diary.
"I know what happened to the girl." Sango said to them as they looked up at her. She told them what had happened and that the girl's name was Kaia. Then everyone grew tired and went to bed.
Chapter 6
Early the next morning, Sango was the first to wake up. She didn't want to wake anyone else so she decided to take a walk in the forest. She walked for a few minutes until she saw a man dressed in a white baboon costume ahead of her.
"Naraku! Why the hell are you still alive? I thought Inuyasha killed you!"
"I'm here to get revenge." he said in a low voice as he was laughing.
"Fuck you Naraku! You'll never get away with what you did, you sick bastard! You'll have to get rid of me first and that's not going to happen." Naraku snuck up behind her and grabbed her by the waist and teleported her and himself to his castle.
He took her to a room with a large bed with silk sheets. He threw her on the bed and forced her to take her clothes off. Then he got on top of her and raped her. She screamed in pain as he kept doing it. She slapped him across the face and he slapped her even harder. She tried to get him off her but he bound her hands and feet and continued to rape her. This time, she screamed as loud as she could. Naraku unbound her and put her clothes back on over her badly bruised body. He told her not to tell anyone about what happened or he would kill her and everyone she loved.
Back at Kaede's hut, Sango's screams woke everyone up. Miroku was the most alarmed by her scream.
"Oh no! Sango's in trouble! We have to go and rescue her!" he shouted. Everyone mounted the already transformed Kilala and flew off in the direction of Naraku's castle to rescue Sango while Kaede and Kaia stayed behind in the hut.
Chapter 7
Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Shippo and Kilala located Naraku's castle and found Sango on the bed in the main bedroom. She was shaking from fear. Miroku walked over to her and picked her up to comfort her and everyone got out of the castle and ran to the forest. Naraku found out and he caught up with the gang in the forest. He said,
"You thought you could escape. You're wrong. You'll never get away from me."
"You fuckin' bastard! You'll never get away with raping Sango or for hurting that innocent child!" said Miroku.
"Sango, ask Kilala to take you guys out of here and go back to Kaede's! I'm going to attack Naraku with my wind tunnel!"
"Right, Miroku! Kilala! take us away from this place!" said Sango heroically. Kilala obeyed and started to fly to Kaede's when Inuyasha, who had to be really stubborn, decided to jump off Kilala's back and help Miroku destroy Naraku.
"Inuyasha! You idiot! You're going to get yourself and Miroku killed!" said Shippo.
"Feh! Don't worry about me, kid!" he replied to the young kitsune. With that he went down and helped Miroku. Inuyasha drew Tetsaiga and tried to use the wind scar to destroy Naraku, but Naraku destroyed it and knocked Inuyasha to the ground. Inuyasha recovered from it quickly and attacked again but he was unsuccessful. Naraku blocked the attack and badly injured Inuyasha.
Miroku jumped in and decided it was time for him to use his wind tunnel.
"Wind Tunnel!" Then, a powerful wind blew from his hand and sucked up almost everything around him. He almost sucked Naraku in but he used his paralyzing poison gas attack. Miroku was no longer able to move. He collapsed just as Inuyasha got back up to finish their battle with Naraku.
Inuyasha drew tetsaiga again and unleashed the ultimate power of it somehow and continued to battle Naraku.
"Tetsaiga!" Inuyasha swung the sword at Naraku and instantly detroyed him with the sword's ultimate power. Miroku was able to move again and the wind tunnel in his hand closed up.
"Thank you, Inuyasha! You destroyed Naraku and broke the curse placed on my family fifty years ago. Now I can finally live a normal life and be with the one woman I love the most." Miroku said gratefully to Inuyasha.
"Don't sweat it, Monk! And stop with the women, please!" he replied with a smile. Inuyasha and Miroku went back to Kaede's and told Sango, Kagome and everyone else that Naraku was history and that they could finally live normal lives again.
Chapter 8
It's been two days since Naraku's defeat. Everyone decided to have a party to celebrate his death. Suddenly they saw the spirit of Kikyo, a priestess who died fifty years ago, come from the sky.
"Kikyo, what brings you here?" asked Kagome.
"I came to thank all of you for destroying Naraku. My soul can now rest in peace and I no longer need to devour the souls of the dead to remain here. For that, I am grateful." said Kikyo.
"Kikyo, would you like to celebrate with us?" asked Shippo.
"I'd be honored to." she replied.
Then it was time for the party. Everyone set up the party supplies on the table outside the hut. Inuyasha and Miroku dragged Kagome's cd player/karaoke machine next to the table and set some cds on top of it. Everyone gathered at the table and ate. Then Kagome turned the cd player on and popped in a cd. Miroku grabbed Sango and pulled her to her feet and danced with her while everyone watched with excitement.
The music stopped playing and everyone went to do their own things. Kagome and Inuyasha decided to play strip poker with Miroku. Shippo played with Kilala and Kaia. Kikyo and Kaede read some medical books. Sango and Miroku went over and talked by the lake.
Miroku kissed Sango on the lips and gently stroked her hair. She kissed him in return. They told how much they loved each other. Miroku rubbed Sango's back. Then Sango felt one of his hands on her ass.
SMACK!
"Miroku! How dare you grope me like that! You sick pervert! Everytime we try to have a relationship you always have to ruin it by groping me!"
"I'm sorry Sango. It's just that I'm really in love with you. I won't do it again if you don't want me too. That's a promise." Sango and Miroku kissed and made up for what happened. Miroku pulled out a small black jewelry box from his pocket and opened it. In the box was an engagement ring. He slipped the ring on Sango's finger and asked her,
"Will you marry me?"
"Yes!"
"Will you bear my child?"
"Yes! Of course I will, as long as you stop flirting with other women." Miroku carried Sango back to the table and sat her on his lap and told everyone about the engagement.
"Congratulations!" Kagome said to Sango and Miroku. Kikyo decided to make a toast to the young couple. She lifted her glass. Everyone did the same and knocked their glasses together and sipped the wine.
It soon became dark and it was time for the party to end. Everyone cleaned up the stuff and Kikyo went back to her favorite spot on Earth to live, promising she'd visit soon. Everyone else went inside the hut and went to bed.
Chapter 9
The next afternoon, everyone took Kaia home to her family. When Kaia saw her parents again she smiled and ran to them. Her parents took their daughter in their arms and thanked Inuyasha and his gang for saving their daughter's life and taking care of her.
"Can I say good-bye to them?" Kaia asked her parents.
"Sure! They saved your life and brought you back to us. Here! Give this to them as a token of appreciation." Kaia's father took some money from his pocket and gave it to Kaia to give to everyone. Kaia ran to Inuyasha and his gang and handed Sango the money.
"Thank you, everybody for saving me and bringing me home and for killing Naraku." Kaia said to them.
"You're welcome! We have to go now, but we can visit you when ever you want us to visit and you can always visit us." said Kagome.
Kaia ran back to her parents while the gang said good-bye and left the village. As they left they shouted back,
"Bye Kaia! We'll never forget you!"
Later that day, Sango was in the bathroom at Kaede's checking a home pregnancy test.
"Please, not blue!" she said to herself. Then, a blue line appeared faintly on the strip. "Oh my god!" She ran into the livingroom to tell Miroku. She started to get the feeling that Miroku wouldn't want the baby.
"What is it, Sango?" he asked.
"Miroku! There is something I need to tell you!"
"Well, go ahead! Say it!"
Sango looked at Miroku and tears started to run down her cheeks.
"I'm pregnant, Miroku! I even checked three times to be sure. All of the tests read positive." She turned her head away from him because she thought he wouldn't want to be a father.
"That's great, Sango! I'm really happy" Sango turned to him and smiled. He smiled back to her. He was so excited that he was going to be a father and raise a child with the woman he loved.
Miroku told everyone about the baby and carried Sango to the bedroom where they had been sleeping for the past six weeks. Miroku took off his clothes and was about to remove Sango's clothes when he asked,
"Sango! Is it alright to be doing this! I mean won't the baby feel something?" Sango laughed and replied,
"It has no effect on the baby. First of all, I'm only about four weeks pregnant. I know how you are so I asked Kaede about it and she said it was fine."
Miroku continued taking Sango's clothes off and laid her on the bed. He french kissed her and put his hands on her breasts. He bit her lower lip, begging for entrance which made her moan in pain. Then the doctor examined her stomach and saw that she wasn't showing like most women at this point did. He asked her if she wanted to know the sex of her baby and she and Miroku said they wanted to be surprised. So the doctor shook their hands and said good-bye to them and they left the doctor's office.
Chapter 10
Three months went by and Sango was preparing the bedroom for her new baby. Shippo walked into the room and sat next to her. He put his head on her stomache. Suddenly he felt the baby move inside Sango.
"Hey, Sango! Your baby just kicked me in the head!" he said while he was laughing. Sango started to laugh too.
"Hey, Shippo! I would like to get a shower, if you could please leave the room for a while so I can do it?" Shippo smiled and left the room.
Sango got undressed and turned the water on for her shower. She got in the shower and started to wash her hair. Then, Miroku walked in the bathroom. Sango heard him come in.
"Miroku! God damnit! Learn to fucking knock before you just walk in here, you pervert!" Sango finished her shower and turned the water off. She wrapped a towel around herself and walked into the bedroom to get dressed. Miroku was sitting on the edge of the bed when she got dressed.
"Damn, Sango! You have the strangest mood swings. I swear!"
"That's okay because you still love me." She kissed him on the cheek and layed down on the bed and took a nap.
She was awakened an hour later by a sharp pain in her lower back. She ignored it, thinking it was just the way she was laying. She went back to sleep and stayed asleep until the next morning. By the next morning the pain was gone.
Chapter 11
About three weeks later, Sango was getting ready to go to a party with Miroku, Inuyasha, and Kagome. She had just gotten out of the shower when she felt her stomache tighten. She thought it was her baby kicking her but when she went to use the toilet, water came gushing out of her. She flushed the toilet and rushed out of the bathroom as fast as she could and went to Miroku.
"Miroku! It's time!" she told him.
"Time for what?"
"The baby! Asshole, we need to get to the hospital quickly!" Miroku looked down to see her holding her stomache with one hand.
Kilala transformed and Sango, Miroku, and Kaede mounted. Kilala flew as fast as she could until she reached the hospital. Miroku and Kaede dismounted and helped Sango. The doctor came into the lobby with a wheelchair, but Sango decided she wanted to walk. The doctor lead them into a private room and Sango changed into on of her nightgowns and layed on the bed. She pulled the blanket up to her stomache and waited.
The doctor came back in the room and gave her pain medication and hooked her up to some machines. Then he discovered that the baby was a little bit large although Sango still didnt look that big. He also confirmed Sango's worst fear. he discovered that the baby was in the wrong position. He waited to
see if the baby's position changed but if it didn't then he would have to operate. Sango was scared of surgery. She never had it before.
Four hours passed and the doctor determined that the child was now in the correct position and that it was time to deliver the baby.
Sango felt little pain but she held Miroku's hand tightly just in case something went wrong with her baby. Kaede wiped Sango's forehead with a damp cloth to get rid of the sweat. Sango tightened her grip on Miroku's hand, almost breaking it.
The whole delivery took about 45 minutes. Then Sango heard her baby crying. She smiled at Miroku and kissed him. The doctor came back into the room after cleaning the baby off and put the newborn child in Sango's arms.
"It's a boy!" he said.
"How much did he weigh?" Miroku asked the doctor.
"Seven pounds, nine ounces."
Sango and Miroku looked down at their new son.
"What shall we call him?" asked Miroku to Sango.
"We should call him Kohaku. I would like to remember my younger brother, so I want to name our son in his honor." she answered.
"Kohaku it is." Kaede and Miroku said at the same time. Sango, Miroku, and Kaede bonded with Kohaku until the doctor came and took him to the nursery so Sango could rest.
Chapter 12
The day after Kohaku was born, Shippo, Kagome, and Inuyasha came to the hospital to take Sango, Miroku, Kaede, and baby Kohaku home. Shippo went over to the rocking chair where Sango was rocking Kohaku and said,
"Your baby is so cute."
"Thank you, Shippo."
"So, what did you call him?"
"His name is Kohaku." Sango and Miroku both answered at the same time.
An hour later, they left the hospital and went back to the hut. Sango went outside to the picnic table for fresh air while Miroku showed Kohaku to the village people. Shippo and Kagome joined Sango at the table and talked about all the good times they had together. When Miroku and Inuyasha finished showing off the baby, they too joined Sango at the table.
"May I please hold Kohaku, Sango?" asked Shippo.
"Sure. Just be careful and remember to hold his head." Sango gently took the baby from Miroku and placed him into Shippo's arms. Shippo smiled at the baby which made everyone else smile.
"It looks like the little squirt likes you, Shippo!" said Inuyasha. "Hey Sango, the baby looks just like you and Miroku." Inuyasha was right. Kohaku looked just like Miroku, but he had Sango's eyes and skin color. Then Inuyasha got restless and left the table.
"Fuck this! I'm going for a walk!" he said impatiently and then spit on the ground.
"Inuyasha! Sit!" Kagome yelled.
CRASH!
"Would you stop doing that, bitch!"
Everyone laughed at the incident and continued to play with Kohaku.
Five years later, Kohaku was now a charming, mischievous child who loved women as much as his father. Sango sat and watched her son play in the backyard with one of the village children.
"I cant believe how much he's grown, although it would be nice if he didn't pick up on Miroku's dirty habits." Sango said to Kagome. Just then Kohaku came running to Sango crying.
"What's wrong, baby?" she asked her son.
"Mommy! She hit me!" The girl came running.
"Well, that's what you get for groping my butt!"
"Kohaku! Jesus Christ! You're only five years old!Act
your own age and stop acting like your father!"
"Yes, Mommy!" Sango and Kagome smiled at him and remembered all the times they had together.
