The next day she went out runing around the lands of fudal Japan she wandered to the central most part, not knowing that she was standing in the middle of InuYasha's forest, she streached lightly feeling the warm sun upon her face, as she lay upon the soft green grass in the small clearing that she had found. Sencing that someone or something was near she sorted out the different smells in the forest, it was a demon or half demon. She shrugged it off being lost in a day-dream anyway she went on and ignored it. Sitting up slightly she began to run her hands through her hair removing the tangles and shards of grass from laying on the grass out of her long waist length black hair, which also had some silver streaks in it. Hearing a sound from behind it sounded like someone was growling, so she turned to investgate it, she was shocked to see a man with a cute boys face staring her down and growling. She gasped slightly at the sight of him, he had long waist lenght silver hair, dog ears rested upon the top of his head, he wore a red gi and was holding a very large sword. Rasing a brow lightly she stood looking up and down this mystery persons body, he was a hanyou no doubt and a hansome one at that. She remaied quite waiting for him to speak first, when she smelt something like dirt basickly death. The smell itself was disgusting making her stomach turn she put a distasteful look on her face as the smell came closer she saw a girl who look no older than she dressed in miko clothing. She knew that the girl couldnt be of the living for the smell that came from her told her that this miko was infact dead.
Turning her attention back to the growling hanyou before her, she placed her hands upon her hips and waited for him to speak, tapping her foot lightly growing tired of him quickly, she spoke "You wouldnt attack an unarmed woman now would you?" putting a smug look on her face, all she got was a low growl from him. "You smell like my idiot half brother and here I though that he would have nothing to do with a lowthy human." This pissed her off when she spat. "You must be stupid, think you can get by with just your looks dog breath, if you would have spent a bit more time before being so quick to judge you would have relized that I am more than human." she growled. "Just who the hell are you and what are you doing in my forest?" Ignoring his question she turned and looked at the dead miko. "Miko I can clearly tell that you are dead, your sent is revulting. What is it that you are called, perhaps I can remember you from the past." The miko just looked at her for a moment before responding, "I am called Kikyo and you are correct, I am dead. But I would like to know how you could figure that out unless you are older than you seam." She just grined "You must be the smart one, you are quite right I am much older than I look, not counting the 50 years I spent in acoma I am 18 counting them I am 68."
The male hanyou just look at her with disbelefe not understanding what he had just heard, she looked at him and smiled softly. He wasnt paying that much attention to her, it was Kikyo who he was watching. She was busy nocking an arrow pouring her miko powers into it. He lept abover the girls head and brought the Tetsiga down upon Kikyo before she let the arrow fly turning her into a smoldering pile of ash before turning back to this new girl. "What is your name and what are you exactly?" without turning she responed "My name is Dawn, Lady Dawn like you I am hanyou yet I choose to stay in my human form so that people underestmate my ture powers nor can demons smell that I am half breed. Before you ask, I have lived with Sesshoumaru for the 50 years that I was in acoma, I dont know if that name means anything to you or not." she said softly "Now"she said "I told you my name what might your's be" He stood stuned looking at her in awe 'she answered more questions than I asked how could she have known that I was going to ask about Sesshoumaru?' "my name is InuYasha" he spoke gruffly hiding any emotion that was evednt.
