Chapter 3: My girl?

She's been saying my name all day. She's been on mind all night. My little Rin no she's not little anymore. I know this and it scares me. Yes, I Sesshomaru-sama am once again afraid of a mere human female. The first time I felt such fear was after that brat Inuyasha was hit with Naraku's poison miasma. At that moment even I were no match for Kagome. If anyone killed Naraku it was she.

 

I heard her singing in the gardens. I thought back to last night. It was the first time in a while since I held her so. It was the fist time I held her hand in a while. I became subduing with her sweet scent. Her gentle laugh soothing my mind, her hair shining under the moonlight, and her eyes sparkling under the moon showing such beauty. I can't remember when she had gotten beautiful. I can't believe how much she grown over the years. It bother me somewhat what would happen when she start looking for a mate.

 

I couldn't think about letting her leave my side. I didn't want her leave my side. Yet knew it was time for me to let her go and let her live a normal human life.

 

I couldn't get her a love a human male could give. She was no longer my little girl.

 

She was no longer my little Rin. I was no longer her Sesshomaru-sama.

 

I have to let her go.
