Chapter 4: Classes Begin

The weekend passed quickly for Miroku, Sango, and Kagome for now it was Sunday night, and the semester started the next day. Lucky for them that on the previous Friday their counselor, Mrs. Shinwa, had taken all the freshmen on a tour of the whole college ground. Now, not only did they know where their classes were, but also they knew where every single class room on campus was. Mrs. Shinwa had explained that if they knew where everything was then they would know how to get around better.

“Why the Hell would we need to know where everything is?” Miroku had whispered to his friends.

“I heard that Mr. Yoshida,” Mrs. Shinwa smiled back at Miroku as they moved on.

Mrs. Shinwa was a Cat demon, which gave her very good hearing. She had short blonde hair, and a long yellow tail with black stripes on it, which swayed back and forth when she walked. Kagome laughed to herself has they made their way down the halls. It had always seemed that they had gotten demon teachers or principals; it was probably because of their good hearing so they could hear what students mumble under their breaths.

Even though they had gotten the grand tour of the place, Sango and Miroku where still nervous about college starting. They always seemed to get that way about school, or really anything for that matter. Kagome on the other hand was just excited for classes to begin; it had always been that way.

When they had all started high school, Miroku and Sango were scared out of their minds, but not Kagome. It might have been because Inuyasha's older half-brother, Sesshomaru, was going to be there. Sesshomaru was two years older then them and had been a junior when they entered high school. Kagome hadn't always gotten along with Sesshomaru, because he tend to keep to himself, didn't talk much and had a really bad ass attitude. Some how though Kagome had become friends with the demon, he probably respected her because a lot of people were afraid of him but Kagome stood up to him all the time. So since Kagome knew someone with an older status, she felt she could enter high school with her head held high. This hadn't helped Sango or Miroku out though, since they both didn't get along with Sesshomaru.

“I can't believe you're not nervous,” sighed Sango as she got into bed and pulled the sheets up to her neck.

“Why should I be? We know where every class is, there is no need to be nervous,” Kagome shrugged as she turned off the light and hopped into bed herself.

“You make it sound so simple,” Sango rolled her eyes.

“I know I do, don't I?” Kagome smiled.

“Oh shut up, and get some sleep,” Sango laughed as she threw an extra pillow at Kagome's face.

“Yes mother,” Kagome said sarcasticlly while she threw the pillow back.

The next morning Sango woke up and ate breakfast as quietly as she could since her first class was at 11:00 and Kagome's wasn't until 1:00 in the afternoon. `Lucky bitch, I wish I could sleep longer,' Sango laughed to herself as she took a sip from her coffee. Then out of nowhere there was a knocking coming form the door. Sango slowly made her way down the hall and opened the door.

“Morning Sango!!” Miroku smiled and he pushed he way through the door.

“Miroku! Keep it down Kagome is still sleeping,” Sango hissed as she followed Miroku.

“Well she should be awake, it's what? 10:30 in the morning,” Miroku laughed as he ran to the room and jumped on top of Kagome.

“Wake up Kagome, you're first class is in 2 hours and 30 minutes,” Miroku sang as he jumped up and down.

“You have no idea how much I hate you right now Miroku,” Kagome grumbled as she slowly sat up and glared at Miroku.

“Aww, come on. You use to be a morning person, what ever happened to that,” Sango giggled as she leaned against the doorframe.

“Whatever,” sighed Kagome as she pulled herself out of bed and made her way to the kitchen.

“Don't you guys have a class soon anyway? Get out of here,” Kagome whined.

“She's right, we should get going. Don't fall back asleep Kagome,” Miroku warned as he pulled Sango out the door.

“Yeah whatever,” Kagome smiled while she took a bite of her pop tart she had just picked out of the box.

As the week went on Sango, Kagome, and Miroku finally decided that college was going to be fun. Sure, there might be a little work involved, but that's normally a give in for everything. They had even gotten a few of their old friends in classes, and even made some new friends. Kagome of course had Kouga, Miroku, and Sango in a few of her classes but she found out that Ayame was in her Physics class, and her friend Hiten was in her Calculus class. Sadly Kikyo and Naraku had ended up a few of her classes too but she's get over it some how.

(Friday)

Now it was Friday night and since Miroku, Sango, and Kagome had classes at all different times they decided that they would just meet up on Saturday to celebrate making through their first week of school. They would probably just hang out like they normally do but this time with more drinks and snacks invloved. As Kagome headed off for her Astronomy she saw that they were running out of sodas. `I guess I'll go shopping for some tomorrow,' she thought to herself as she shut the door behind her.

“Wow, the stars are amazing,” Kagome sighed as she looked up at the sky.

“Yeah they really are. It's great we get to study such a amazing things for a whole semester,” Kouga smiled as he stood next to Kagome.

For a 1hour and 30 minutes Kagome and Kouga had just started at the stars and ignored everything their teacher was trying to tell them. They spent most of the time just talking about random things, like family, friends, and classes. Kagome was really happy that Kouga was in this class with her, so far the teacher seemed a little weird, and she didn't know anyone else. And for sure Kouga was happy to have Kagome in his class too.

“Hey so Kagome I was wondering……….” Kouga started.

“Ok class I think I have told all that you need to know about this class. You have no homework for tonight so go home a get some sleep,” the teacher interrupted.

Everyone stood up and started to walk off the grass and back to their dorms. Their teacher had told them that as long as the weather stay fine they would be having their classes out side, which no one mind since it just gave them more time to stare at the stars. Kagome said a quick good-bye to Kouga before hurrying back to the dorms to get a good night sleep.

“Damn it, I was so close,” Kouga growled as he ran a hand through his hair and started to walk back to the Kyuusai dorms.

(Saturday)

It was about 12 in the afternoon when a red Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle, with orange and yellow flames on the side, rolled its way into the parking lot outside the main building. The rider pulled his red helmet over his head letting down a mess of long, silver hair that reached to the small of his back. He had two square doggy ears on top of his head, and clawed hands which mean this was a demon, or half-demon. He slowly got off the motorcycle and made his way through the doors of the main building.

“Yo, I'm wondering what room is mine,” the youkai said once he reached the front desk.

Angela looked up from the book she was reading to face the youkai in front of her.

“Name?” she sighed and she turned to the computer.

“Well I'm pretty sure that my old man put it under his name, InuTashio,” he answered.

After a few minutes of searching Angela found what she was looking for. There seemed to be two rooms under the name InuTashio though, so she slowly turned back to the youkai.

“There are two rooms under that name Sir,” she explained.

“Yeah one of the rooms is for my brother,” He replied as if it was obvious.

“Well then which room will be yours Sir? Floor 3,

Room 115, or floor 2 room 89?”

“Can't you just give me both of the keys and I'll pick later?” He asked a little annoyed.

“Sorry I'm not aloud to do that. You just have to chose one,” Angela smiled.

The guy let out a long sigh before pulling out his cell phone and dialed a number. After a few minutes of ringing the person on the other line answered.

“What now?” the voice asked.

“We have to pick our rooms, the girl here won't give me both the keys. Which one you want? Floor 3 room 115, or Floor 2 room 89?” The silver haired teen asked.

“That is idiotic. Why must I pick the room, it doesn't matter,” the person on the other line growled.

“Just shut up and pick a God Damn room already,” He snapped.

“Fine I'll have the second floor one,” His brother sighed and then hung up the phone.

“Bastard,” he whispered to himself before turning back to the girl at the front desk, “I guess I'm taking the third floor one.”

“Um, right. Here is your key, would you like to know the name of your roommate?” Angela asked a little nervous after the display that the youkai and just made.

“Feh, like it matters. I'll met them sooner or later,” He rolled his eyes before exiting the building.

“People can be so rude sometimes,” Angela glared before returning to her book.

OMG, I bet none of you know who that guy was!!!!! *roll eyes* Yeah it's really obvious, but whatever. The next chapter will be very, VERY interesting since it will be when Inuyasha sees everyone again. HOW IS KAGOME GOING TO REACT!?!?!? Well you have to review and wait for the next chapter. ^_^ I'm hoping to get the next chapter typed up today but I'm not going to put it up until I get at least 7 reviews………all from different people. ^_^
