A\N: HELLO! I'm sorry but this is the last chapter . Well there is an Epilogue but I never really count that as a chapter. The computer does. I don't. But guess what? LunaStar*'s stories will never end! I will begin writing my new story Zinc. It's another Inuyasha story but I won't tell you what it's about yet. You'll find that out later. But don't worry it's just as funny as this one. In my opinion and my co-writer's. Chapter 19: You need to let go Kouga (literally)

 

 

After a few days, Kagome finally recovered and was ready to go home with Inuyasha. But, she forgot her stuff at Kouga's apartment. She didn't want to tell Inuyasha that she did since she knew how mad he was about the shooting. But she had to tell him sooner or later. So she decided to tell him on their way out of the hospital.

 

“Now are you sure you're okay?” Inuyasha asked while walking out of the hospital.

 

Kagome rolled her eyes, “For the thousandth time, yes Inuyasha I'm fine!”

 

“But are you sure you can walk okay on your own? Do you need me to carry you?”

 

“Inuyasha!”

 

“What?”

 

“I'm fine!”

 

“Are you sure?”

 

“Yes! I'll prove it. Give me a hug.” Inuyasha put his arms around her sides and gave her a hug. “Ow!” Kagome shouted. Inuyasha immediately pulled away and saw Kagome grab her side.

 

“Oh my god Kagome I'm so sorry!”

 

“Just kidding.” Kagome laughed.

 

“That wasn't funny!”

 

“It would've been if you weren't so protective. Inuyasha I'm okay in every way shape or form.”

 

Inuyasha sighed, “Okay. Let's go home.”

 

“Oh, we need to make one more stop.”

 

“Where?”

 

“At Kouga's apartment.”

 

“Why?” Inuyasha said with anger in his voice.

 

“Because I kinda…left my stuff there?” Kagome replied with a worried look on her face.

 

“Kagome!”

 

“What? I left my stuff there after I followed Kouga to the park.”

 

“Can't we do that when he's not home?”

 

“No.”

 

“Fine but if he's home I'm coming with you. I don't trust him.”

 

“Okay.”

 

So, Kagome and Inuyasha rode to the apartments. When they got there, Kagome had an unsure look on her face.

 

“What?” Inuyasha asked.

 

“I don't think you should come with me.”

 

“But you said I could.”

 

“I lied.”

 

“Kagome!”

 

“I just don't want any more drama. I think I've had enough for one week.”

 

“Are you sure?”

 

“Yeah. I don't even think he's home. I don't see his car.”

 

“Okay. I trust you.” Inuyasha kissed her on her forehead.

 

 

Kagome got out and took and took a breath. She walked up the steps to Kouga's apartment. She still had the key so she unlocked the door, and stepped inside. It was dark. She turned on the light and found Kouga sitting on the couch. She jumped and put a hand on her heart. Who the hell would sit in the dark like that?

 

“Hey, welcome home.”

 

“This isn't my home Kouga.”

 

“Last time I checked it was.” Kouga got up from the couch and walked over to Kagome.

 

Kagome backed away from him, “Kouga, I'm leaving. I'm pretty sure I made that clear last time.” Kagome saw her suitcases were still by the door. She went to grab them but Kouga caught her wrist.

 

“You're not going anywhere.” Kouga said.

 

“Let go of me.” Kagome demanded.

 

“Kagome I'm not losing you.” He squeezed harder.

 

“Ow, Kouga you're hurting me!”

 

“I don't know what I'll do without you.” Kagome felt him almost cut off her circulation.

 

“Please Kouga. Let go of me!” Suddenly, she saw silver hair flash in front of her.

 

“She said let go.” Inuyasha said sternly.

 

“Oh yeah? And what are you going to do about it?” Kouga scoffed. Inuyasha raised a fist and socked him in the face. Kouga fell to the floor and Inuyasha jumped on him to punch him again. He eyes started to fade into a dark red. Then instead of punching him, Inuyasha ran his claws across Kouga's face, making three bloody marks across. Kagome quickly wrapped her arms around Inuyasha's waist and pulled back. They both crashed into the arm of the couch. Inuyasha's eyes went back to white. He felt a little faint. He looked to see Kagome still holding on to him.

 

“I'm sorry, Kagome. I didn't mean to lose control.” He saw Kouga on the floor, unconscious and bleeding. “Oh my god. I'm just as bad as he is!”

 

Kagome shook her head. She placed a hand on his cheek. “Look at me. You are nowhere equal to him. He was hurting me. You were protecting me. There's a difference.”

 

Inuyasha rested his head on Kagome's chest and closed his eyes. She smiled and ran her fingers through his hair.

 

“But what are we going to do about him?” Kagome said.

 

Inuyasha looked at her, “Leave him.”

 

“Inuyasha.”

 

“What? He'll wake up. You know…eventually.”

 

“Despite what he did, we could still help him.”

 

“Yeah we could but we shouldn't.”

 

“Come on.”

 

“You pick now to be a good person?”

 

“Are you saying I'm a bad person?”

 

“Not exactly.” Kagome moved out from under Inuyasha and he fell back, head meeting the floor. “Ouch.”

 

“That's what you get.”

 

“I thought it was good to be honest.”

 

“That's mean!”

 

“Who said I was nice?”

 

“True. But the least we could do is call the hospital.”

 

“We could bu—”

 

“Don't say it. I'll call them.” Kagome got up and picked up the phone to call the hospital.

 

“Okay they're on their way. We better get out of here.”

 

“Finally.” Kagome grabbed her stuff and they went out. Kagome put her stuff in the trunk.

 

“You know you never told Sesshomaru I was moving in.”

 

“I thought it be better if he didn't find out.”

 

“He's going to find out sooner or later.”

 

“Like when?”

 

“Oh I don't know maybe when I never leave?”

 

“Because you love me too much.”

 

“Well that's true.” Kagome put her arms on his shoulders.

 

“Well I'll tell him when we get home.”

 

“No you won't.”

 

“Okay I won't.”

 

“But you said you would!”

 

“You said I won't!”

 

“Since when do you listen to me?”

 

“Since now.”

 

Kagome rolled her eyes and got into the car. They finally got home and walked in.

 

“Sesshomaru? Sesshomaru! SESSHOMARU!” Inuyasha yelled.

 

“I'm right here!” Sesshomaru yelled from the kitchen.

 

“I have to tell you something.”

 

“What?”

 

“Kagome is moving in with us.”

 

“Oh I'm going to have so much fun!” Sesshomaru said in an evil way.

 

“Don't worry Kagome. You have a girl to relate to right here.” Inuyasha said pointing at Sesshomaru.

 

“And we have our own very pet right here. He sits, rolls over, and maybe if we're lucky, he'll play dead.” Sesshomaru ruffled Inuyasha's hair.

 

“How often do you guys fight like this?” Kagome asked.

 

“Oh it depends if Inuyasha's on his period or not.” Sesshomaru replied.

 

“Shut up.”

 

“Oh and that happens too. I'll come up with something funny, and he has no come back so it's not really fighting.”

 

“And then I'll do this,” Inuyasha smacked his brother, “and he usually wimps out.”

 

“Says Mr. `I'm too afraid to eat chocolate'!”

 

“It could kill me!” Inuyasha complained.

 

“All the reason more to eat it!”

 

Kagome giggled. Living here was going to take some getting used to.

A\N: So jealous! Kagome gets front seats to the battle of the brothers! I wrote it but it's not like I'm there. So anyway, how'd you like it? I can't wait to write my other story! Oh and this is off subject but I should've put this earlier. I absolutely have NOTHING against Kouga. I just made him the bad guy because I didn't want to use anyone else. I LOVE Kouga. But making him that character made the story WAY more intense. Anyway, I hope you guys read my next story and the others I'll. I have about 4 other stories I want to write. Not all at once but you know. And you also know that LunaStar* WUVS YOU ALL!
