Chapter 2

They have been driving for what felt like an eternity. Kagome and her mom switched off and on for driving so the other could sleep. Sota just sat in the back of the SUV playing his Game Boy Advance SP. Neither of the kids was really thrilled about moving. Their mom told them that she got a new job managing a chain of flower shops in Tokyo.

About 10 hours later they finally pulled up the their new house. It was a 2-story house with a porch and a pool in the back yard. It was much bigger then the town house they lived in. When they pulled up into the driveway neighbors were out side doing yard work.

When they steped out of the car their mom said, "Well what do you guys think? I know it's a lot bigger...but hey we have the biggest backyard in the whole neighborhood. Why don't you guys go in and pick out your rooms? The moving truck will be here shortly." And with that said the kids were gone in a blink of an eye.

They ran into the house to see that there was a room to their left and then a pair of stairs in front of them that led up to a living room and the kitchen. In the living room there were another set of stairs that led up to the second floor where the bedrooms are and the main bathroom. Sota picked the first room to the left. It was paint a baby blue with hard wood flooring and 2 windows side by side that showed their street.

Kagome was still downstairs when she saw that there was a door on the main floor. When she opened it she thought 'this is so totally my room.' The room was painted white, which was okay because then she could paint it whatever color she wanted to. It had a bluish/green carpet and 2 widows side by side that showed the backyard and the pool.

When the kids came down and out of their new rooms they directed the moving men on were to put the stuff. Finally after 3 long hours of unpacking they were done.

"Whew...im glad I picked this room. It's practically soundproof which means I can practice without bothering anyone." That's when she noticed the door on the side of her room. 'I wonder were that leads to?' she thought. When she opened it she saw that it led to the garage that was in front of her room. 'Pretty cool...no I can sneak out n mom wont know. Hehehe'

When they unpacked everything it was only 2 p.m. so Sota convinced Kagome on taking a walk around the development, convinced he saw a park on the way to the house. "All right...just lemme get changed" Kagome said. She was wearing a t-shits n a pair of old jeans. When she came back she was wearing blue baggy jeans a T-shirt that said 'Bite Me' and black /pink All * Star Converse sneakers.

**With InuYasha **

BEEP BEEP BEEP he slammed his fist on his alarm clock BBBBBBEEEEEEEEPPPPPP. He then mumbled something about a stupid alarm clock and got up and took a shower.

When he came out he only had a towel wraped around his waste. You could see his well-built chest and stomach along with his well-built arms as well as his smooth and tanned skin.

He then changed into a pair of black baggy jeans and a white undershirt and then put on a red button up shirt only buttoning it half way up. He then put on his white and gray snuex ( i think thats how you spell 'em...not sure)

When he was finished getting dressed he walked down stairs to find an empty house. He found a note on the fridge saying his older brother and his girlfriend went out for the day. 'Great...I have the whole house to my self n there's nothing to do. Guess ill go for a walk. There supposed to be some new people moving in.'

Then he realized he had forgotten something. His necklace. The one his best friend and the one he secretly loved so much gave to him the day she left him. He ran up the stairs and found the necklace that had the ring on it and then walked out of the house.

'Maybe Koga would want to come. I hope the new people have some kids `round my age.' He thought. He wouldn't admit that he missed Kagome very much. He was too proud of him self. He finally got to Koga's house, which just happened to be next to the house that the 'new people' moved into.

He knocked on the door and when Koga answered InuYasha asked " Sup man...wanna go see if there is any new chicks next door?” "Sure! I saw them get here bout 3 hours ago...there was a girl I say about 17 and a boy who looked bout 11.” Koga said "Cool come on... we can start walkin by the park.” "K hold on lemme grab my shoes.” Koga was wearing dark blue baggy pants and a blue shirt that said "IM with Stupid ->" he was wearing some black worn vans.

When Koga was finally ready the two started to walk when they saw the girl and her little brother. She had long raven hair down to half of her back and had some dark blue baggy jeans and a red shirt that said, "Bite Me" on the front. She had black/pink converse n had a skateboard in her hand. Her little brother talking to her about what he was going to do at the park. InuYasha couldn't believe it. This girl looked exactly like Kagome. She had the same smile the same hair and the same Chocolate eyes.

**Normal POV**

Kagome looked up and saw that there were 2 guys standing in front of them blocking the way to the park. Then it happened. One of the guys walked up to her. He had long silver hair that went down his back and 2-dog ear on top of his head. He whispered "Kagome...?”

That really freaked her out 'How does this guy know my name?' When he put a hand on her shoulder he didn't have time to realize what happened. Before he could move she grabbed his wrist and threw him over her shoulder. He landed on his back with a thud.

The other guy who was with him had his hair in a pony tail and just stairred at what had just happened. All he could get out was "whoa. I no not to piss you off. By the way the name is Koga.” He reached out and shook hands. "My name is Kagome. Nice to meet you Koga." the girl said. Koga though 'she will be my woman one day.'

From behind Kagome, InuYasha was laying on his back rubbing his head. He finally said (hey I rhymed! no...this is what he said...) "WOW...Kags you've gotten a lot stronger.”

At that she whipped her head around and said, "How do you know my nickname...there was only one person who called me that...." she trailed off when she saw the necklace that he had on. 'Is it really him? or am I just seeing things...but he looks so much like him. How can I tell? Wait my name was on the inside of the ring' Before anyone new what happened she had the ring in her hand.

Then she saw her name. Tears began to fall down her face. Koga didn't know what to do. He could smell the tears but he didn't know why she was crying. Before (have you noticed i like to use the word before???) InuYasha new what hit him Kagome was in his arms giving him the biggest hug and showering him with kisses.

Koga and Sota just stood there. They didn't know what to do. When Kagome and InuYasha finally broke a part Koga, InuYasha and Sota all pointed to each other and said, "Who's he?” Kagome couldnt help her self any longer...she just started to laugh at their expresions.

When she finished introducing every one, they all decided to go to the park. When they got there Sota ran over to the Jungle Jim and played by him self. The three of them sat down on a near by bench and started to talk. InuYasha was on one end with Kagome inbetween him and Koga.

InuYasha started it with "I've missed you. You've changed a lot.” Kagome looked up the the now almost grown InuYasha “ Now I donno about that Inu I don't think i've changed very much. But other wise...i've missed you too.” Kagome said.

Koga still didn't know what the hell was goin on. Then it hit him...this must be the girl that InuYasha was in love with from 10 years ago! He remeber all the stuff he told him about her.

She told them about what happened after she moved and how she got an electric guitar, drums, and about how she learned to skate and everything else that happened. When she was finished Koga said "InuYasha if she says she can play as well as she thinks then we have to here her play." InuYasha turned to Kagome and said " Do you think we could hear you play?" InuYasha gave Kagome his best impression of a puppy (no pun intented...im mean come on ppl he is a dog demon...ok helf but still!) Kagome thought about and said " Sure why not."

When they got to her house she led them to the basement were every thing was set up. She had amps, mics,2 guitars, one read with blue n black flames going up and the other was black with red flames.

It looked like a studio. She picked up the red guitar and started to play the guitar solo from the song Remedy by Seether. When she was done the 2 teens that were sitting on the couch had their mouths opened and were drooling.

InuYasha could believe it. All he could say was "You are joining the band." InuYasha and Koga told her about the band that was just becoming pretty famous. He told her the bands name was Pink Slip (For those of you who dont no waht a pink slip is its when you buy a car, bike, gocart, or a ATV...its like a recept...its show proof of owner ship. Some teens race there cars or what ever for pink slips. I couldn't think of a better name)

InuYasha then told her about the Battle of the Bands that was common up in a couple of months. "So..." InuYasha said " Whadda say? You in?" Kagome looked at him and then looked into to his eyes...she could tell he really wanted her to join. 'Screw it...why not...might be fun.' she thought "hhmmmm....I quess so. Oh, by the way I can play the paino too." 'Is there anything this girl can't do?' InuYasha and Koga thought.
