When Worlds Collide
Chapter 1: Through The Well
**************************************************************** *******
Inu-Yasha is going to kill me.
Kagome was going at a rapid rate towards her house. She was given detention for not having her homework and she had told Inu-Yasha that she would be back in his time by sunset. She continued to run until she ran into someone. She looked up to see that it was the new girl that had come from the United States. Her name was Jaxon Bradley. She had talked with Jaxon before. Not only was she new, but she also lived next door to Kagome. (Well, as next door as you can get to a shrine.)
"Gomen Jaxon. I'm kind of in a hurry. I didn't see you there."
"No harm done Kagome. I would be in the same situation if I knew someone was going to yell at me for being late."
"Arigato Jaxon. I'll see you later."
With that Kagome ran the rest of the way to her house. She quickly packed her bag and was thankful that she had gotten her stuff together earlier. She ran passed her brother, Souta on the staircase and entered the kitchen. Her mom handed her a bag filled with food. She quickly hugged her mother and then ran out to the shrine at the back of her house. She quickly jumped into the well only to find herself in Inu-Yasha's time. She quickly climbed out of the well only to be knocked over by a very over excited kitsune youkai.
"Kagome you're back," Shippou said.
"About time you got back. You`re late again," Inu-Yasha said from the tree above her.
"Sit!"
~Thud~
Kagome just walked away from the fallen form, which was Inu-Yasha. She walked to Kaede's village. Standing just outside the village was Miroku and Sango. On Sango's shoulder laid Kilala, Sango's pet cat youkai.
"Kagome, it is good to see you back."
"Arigato Miroku. I am happy to be back."
Sango walked over to Kagome and hugged her.
"Sango, it is good to see you again too."
Inu-Yasha joined them. He stayed silent on his high perch. With happy hellos and a typical routine the friends thought that nothing would go wrong. They walked towards Kaede's hut thinking that this day was going to just like it always was. They were they wrong.

Jaxon began to walk back up to her house when she noticed that there were two pieces of a jewel in her yard.
Kagome must have dropped these when she ran into me.
Jaxon ran into her house. She was going over a friend's house so she figured that she would just drop the jewel off on the way there. She shrugged on her backpack and slipped into her most comfortable pair of tennis shoes. She grabbed two katanas from her bed as well as a dagger and pocketknife that she kept for safety. Jaxon ran out of her house after telling her uncle she was leaving and ran next door. Kagome's mother answered the door.
"Hello, Mrs. Higurashi. I was wondering if I could talk to Kagome."
"Oh dear, if you hurry you can catch her going into the shrine in the back yard. She's always in a hurry when she's late."
"Arigato," Jaxon said as she watched Kagome run into the shrine.
Jaxon walked to the shrine and entered it. Kagome was nowhere in sight, but a small well was in the center of the shrine. Jaxon peaked in.
"Kagome, it's Jaxon. Where are you," Jaxon called in dismay.
She then noticed a latter on the edge of the well.
She must have gone down into the well and is to far down to hear me.
Jaxon began to climb down the latter only to find out that the well wasn't as deep as she thought it was. She jumped the last few steps onto the bottom of the well.
I wonder where Kagome has gone?
Just as she said this Jaxon was surrounded by an aura. She felt as if she was falling through the well. The next thing she knew she was standing on solid ground again. She looked up to see blue sky.
"Sit," a familiar voice rang out.
A thud followed. Jaxon paused afraid of what was going to happen. The next thing she heard were footsteps that seemed to be moving away from her and muttering coming from an annoyed male.
"Baka girl. I curse the day Kaede put this thing on me."
Jaxon slowly began to climb the vines of the well as the man seemed to walk away from her. She jumped out to see a huge forest surrounding the well.
"This is amazing."
She began to follow a trail that led her strait to a village. She saw Kagome talking with two weirdly dressed people. She was holding, what looked like a small animal in her hand. The group started off towards the village when a flash of red caught Jaxon's eye. A boy with silver hair jumped from one of the trees and gracefully landed on his feet. He began to run after the group and caught up with them in no time. They left her sight as they stepped into a hut.
Where the heck am I? What is Kagome doing here?
Jaxon sat down under a tree and began to think about what she should do. She decided that she would return the pieces of the jewel to Kagome and then try to find a way out of this place.
