The guard reached them and fell to his knees gasping,” My king and queen! King Dark Link has just sent a message. The orphanage was just attacked they don't know if anyone was left alive. They person who led the attack was named Moonshade he has been in control of all the crime in both Hyrule and the Dark World for 15 years. He sent the attack on the Dark World's and Hyrule's best assassins. Dark Link wants you all to be at the orphanage as soon as possible they will not do a thing until you get there.”

Everyone gasped and looked at the brothers who had their eyes down and shadowed. “Rachal please get us all to the orphanage and fast.” Darkness stuttered. Rachal nodded and played a few quick notes on the Ocarina. There was a giant flash of light and when they could see again they saw a building the size of a mansion. The windows were shattered the doors ripped off the building was totally beat up and in really bad shape.

“There were over a hundred of them.” Said a voice behind them they whirled around to see Dark Link and Crystal and standing behind them was a horde of guards. Crystal walked over to Darkness putting a hand on his shoulder and whispered in his ear,” I'm sorry Darkness. I'm so sorry.” Darkness sighed and put an arm around Crystal's neck. Dark Link sighed,” Lets go and see if there is anyone left alive.” Everyone sighed and walked toward the destroyed orphanage.

Rachal and Maric got there and opened the doors to a horrible sight; the floor was covered in fresh blood that still was spilling and bodies of children from the ages of 1 to 18! Rachal had to cover her mouth to keep from throwing up. Maric covered his nose trying to keep the smell of death out.

Sesshomaru took out Tensusaiga, which he had found after the battle and put it away after a few seconds saying that there was a spell over the bodies so he couldn't revive them.

All of the guards moved into the large building taking out the bodies to be buried and honored. Rose took one look inside and threw up and ran out of the room, Flame followed her out trying to make her feel better. Kagome cried nonstop with Inuyasha trying to comfort her. All of the children were half demons, demons, and darkworldians, which most had demon blood in them. Darkworldians were a lot like hylians only from the Dark World and had a few differences. Like darkworldians basically most powerful mages because they know more dark magic.

Rachal sighed and looked at Maric he had a look of complete disgust that some one would do this. Rachal then saw something moving in the shadowed corner of the room. Rachal tapped Maric on the arm and pointed to the corner, there was a little bit more of movement and Maric nodded. Rachal walked over to the corner as Maric watched, Rachal could make out two people in the shadows.

Rachal knew they were both kids, one was crying silently while the other stayed silent. Rachal sat down on her knees and called to the kids,” It's alright come out I want to help.” The smaller of the kids ran out and jumped into her arms making her fall over all the while the child cried. The child looked to be 10 years old and had tan hair and dog-ears on his head! He wore a pale green tunic that was torn in many places and had golden eyes. His height only reached a little above Rachal's knees, because he was a half demon they aged and grew slowly.

“You're a half dog demon!” Rachal gasped. The child wept in her arms and looked up at her and asked,” Is that a bad thing to you?” Rachal giggled at the kid's question and said,” No it's not, my mate is half dog demon.” Rachal looked over to Maric and smiled seeing he was walking over to them. “Maric look who I found,” Rachal giggled as the child looked up at Maric with wide eyes. Maric smiled and sat down next to them and rustled the kid's hair and said,” Hello. Now what's your name little one?”

The kid smiled and laughed as Rachal tickled him,” My name's Quentin.” Rachal and Maric felt so much love for this little boy and they both knew the other felt the same. Rachal asked,” Quentin would you like it if Maric and I adopted you?” Quentin jumped up and down in her lap yelling,” YES. YES. YES.” Maric smiled and laughed getting Quentin's attention.

Quentin smiled slyly and jumped onto Maric making him fall on to the ground, Rachal laughed then turned to see the other boy. He looked to be 12 but he was taller than Quentin. He had red orange hair a little ways past his shoulders and had pale green eyes. He wore a red tunic that was also scratched up. He had fox ears on his head and a fox tail, his height was up to Rachal's hips.

Quentin turned to the boy and yelled,” Caleb! Caleb, meet my new mom and dad!” Caleb's eyes widen when he saw Rachal's crown and bowed. Quentin confused asked,” Caleb why are you bowing?” Rachal smiled,” Don't bow I may be a princess but you have no need to bow. Caleb are you half fox demon?” Caleb nodded and turned to see Flame walking toward them.

Flame looked from the group to the lone boy he knew what went on and the way this kid acted reminded him of himself. Flame smiled and said,” Caleb can you come with me for a second?” Caleb nodded and followed Flame outside. Maric carried Quentin outside as Rachal walked beside him. Rachal told her parents about Quentin as Maric told his brothers neither of them seemed angry. Quentin loved the dogs and horses and they loved him, but Rachal saw that Sun's Fire had a special bond with Quentin, like the one with herself and New Moon.

Rachal looked over to where Rose was standing with Flame and Caleb. Rachal guessed what Flame and Rose were going to do, adopt Caleb.

Rachal and Maric were sitting by a tree with the animals and Quentin, when Sesshomaru walked over to them and said,” Rachal, Maric it's time to go.” Rachal and Maric nodded and Rachal played a song teleporting everyone to Hyrule Castle. Quentin asked how they got there so fast as Rachal explained Maric got both of their trunks. Quentin now wore a kimono like Maric's only a deep blue, but not navy blue. Also not wearing any shoes, not needing to.

Zelda walked over and with teary eyes said,” Well is everyone ready to leave?” Rachal nodded and hugged her parents and walked toward the Feudal Era group with Maric and Quentin also with the animals following. Quentin then asked,” Mom where are we leaving to?” Rachal smiled,” We're going to our new home.”

Rachal played the song that teleported them to the Feudal Era in fact they were right in front of the well! Quentin looked around excitedly and ran off to play with Shippo, and Rin. Kagome called the kids over and asked them to gather firewood, the kids nodded and were about to run off when Rachal called and told them to be careful.
