The jewel shards that Naraku had had been collected and now the only ones that were missing were Kohaku's and Koga's the shards had combined into one and was around Kagome's neck. No one was worried about Koga's because they knew they would probably meet up with him soon and Kohaku's was still in his back, but since he was still possessed and he was tied up.

With the fire burning and food cooking the dinner was lighthearted and enjoyable. Kagome grabbed some things from her bag and asked the girls join her at the hot springs that were nearby. Rachal followed Kagome, Sango, Kagura, Kanna, and Rin to a beautiful hot spring after everyone was resting happily in the water Rachal asked an out of the blue question.” If you could have any wish what would it be?”

Everyone stared at her for a few minutes then Rin exclaimed,” My wish is to stay with my Lord Sesshomaru forever!” Rachal smiled and then turned to Sango who sighed and said,” I would wish for my brother to come out of his spell and have his memory returned. Also that he didn't need the jewel shard to live.” Rachal nodded understanding. It was Kagura's turn now who said,” All I wanted was to be free and now I am and I really do not want anything else. Also what I want most is what I already have now.” Now it was Kanna who simply said,” I really have no wishes, I am happy to be free from Naraku.”

Kagome scooted next to Rachal and while blushing whispered,” I wish that I was a half dog demon like Inuyasha. That way I would tell him that I love him.” Rachal nodded. Then they were done bathing the girls walked back to the camp and saw that the boys were sitting around the fire all looking to have a good time.

All the boys seeing the girls left for the hot springs Sesshomaru made Jaken stay telling him that he would kill him if anything happened to the girls. Jaken pouted near the base of a tree with Uh-Un with Rin asleep in a sleeping bag that Kagome gave her. All the other girls sat talking around the fire, but Rachal walked over to Jaken and sat down next to him. “What do you want?” Asked Jaken annoyed. “Don't be so grumpy! I just want to ask you a question, if you could have one wish what would it be?” Rachal asked. Jaken looked at her surprised then said,” My only wish to serve my Lord and make his wishes come true.” Rachal nodded and said,” Thanks for telling me Jaken. You can take a nap we're fine. You don't get much sleep taking care of Rin.” Jaken nodded and fell into a peaceful nap.

Rachal stretched and walked over to where the other girls were talking. Rachal told them,” Hey I'm going to take a walk. I'm going to take the horses also to find some better grass for them. Brittany and Star are coming too.” “Be careful. Naraku was not the only evil demon around.” Kagome warned.

Rachal nodded and called to the horses and the two dogs that followed her without the need to be led through the forest. Rachal and the animals walked down an old dirt path, they were out of sight and hearing range of the camp and hot springs. Rachal and the horses walked into a clearing that had the continuation of the path through it. Rachal sat down in the knee tall green grass as the horses spread out to graze. Star and Brittany laid down on either side of her. Rachal put her hands behind her head feeling the tips of her large elf ears and looked up at the stars.

After a few moments Rachal shot up into a sitting position. The dogs and horses looked at her confused, because hylians had better hearing than even demons, half demons, and animals. The horses and dogs lifted their heads smelling the air and knew there was a large group of humans running toward them with someone running ahead of them. Rachal signaled to the horses that moved in between the trees out of view. The dogs laid close to the ground hiding from view because of the tall grass. Rachal also crouched in the grass out of sight in a position so she could fight or run if the need came.

Rachal growled when she heard the sound of feet running from in front of her but out of view because of her hiding spot. Rachal heard the sound of someone sliding into the grass trying to hide. Rachal knew the person was a few yards from her and was breathing hard. Rachal heard the thumps of many people coming into the clearing and the clopping of unfamiliar horses being ridden.

Rachal heard a man shout,” Alright you brat, come out! There is nowhere you can run we've been chasing you a whole day, you can't run anymore.” Rachal heard laughing from other men. Rachal then heard a young shaky female voice call out from where she was hiding,” Why, why are you chasing me I've lived in your village since I was born!”

Rachal heard the same man laugh and said,” We only sheltered you because your mother was the priestess, but now that she is dead. We're going to kill you, you stupid half demon!” Rachal growled loudly so everyone in the clearing could hear her, Rachal had had enough! `How dare they do this to a person that hadn't done anything wrong!' Rachal thought.

Everyone that was chasing the girl looked around nervously and the girl yelped at the growl that Rachal made. Rachal stood up from her hiding place, as did the dogs. The man that was in charge looked at her ears in fear. The men took out their weapons and took a step forward. Rachal growled,” I don't know who you are but I would suggest you leave now and forget chasing whoever you are.”

The leader took one look at Rachal's angry eyes and took a few steps back and stuttered,” What are you? A demon? A half demon?”

Rachal glared at him and replied,” I'm not either, and not human either. I am a hylain or elf.” The men's eyes widened and stuttered,” But, but there are no elves. They're only fairy tales! They are not real on this world!” Rachal eyes narrowed,” Who ever said I was from this world?” The man fell and looked back at this men and yelled,” Run this is too dangerous!”

The man stayed on the ground as his men ran and watched Rachal's every move as she walked over to a patch of grass a few yards away. Rachal kneeled down in front of it and said,” You can come out now. Those men are gone.” The girl's voice answered,” Why, would you want to help a half demon? Are you really an elf?”

Rachal smiled but whipped around to see the man standing up. Rachal commanded,” Brittany the man. Star go tell Maric to meet me on the trail back to camp. New Moon tell the horses to come out of hiding.” Brittany jumped in front of the man making him fall on his bottom in fear; Brittany circled him making sure he could not escape. Star ran down the path toward the camp as New Moon and the other horses walked out of the trees.

Rachal then turned back to the hiding spot of the girl and answered,” To answer your first question, I hate then people treat people differently because of what they are. My mate if a half demon too, and so if my adopted son. To the second question, yes I am elf in fact I am the princess of the elves from my world.”

“You're, you're from another world!” yelled the trapped man. Rachal said,” Yes I am, I traveled to this world through a portal to live with my mate.” Rachal then said calmingly,” Little girl will you come out? You can live with me and my mate.”

The grass parted to reveal a girl only 6 with green fox eyes. She had a foxtail and fox ears on her head, her hair was to her knees, which was red with white highlights. She wore a torn up pale pink dress and no shoes. The girl's height was only to Rachal's knees.

Rachal picked up the girl making her yelp. Rachal giggled then looked at the man cornered by Brittany. Rachal then asked the girl,” Well what do you want to do with him? It's up to you little one.” The girl narrowed her eyes seeing the man then said,” I don't want him to be killed but punished for what he did to me leading those people after me.” Rachal nodded and told Brittany,” Brittany make him pay!” Brittany jumped forward as Rachal turned with the girl still in her arms so she couldn't see what happened. Lunar walked up to the girls and sniffed the girl making her giggle. Rachal knew the two were companions like herself and New Moon.

Rachal put the girl on Lunar surprising them both. With the girl distracted Rachal turned to the man who was on the ground whimpering holding a certain area. Brittany was walking over to her with a satisfied look. Rachal growled at her,” Did you make it so he couldn't have children? You didn't have to but oh well.” Rachal then jumped onto New Moon's back and everyone left the clearing leaving the crying man.

On the trail Rachal called the girl to ride on Lunar abreast with New Moon. She did and Rachal asked,” What's your name my new daughter? Mine's Rachal.” The girl's eyes got big at what she said. Then stuttered,” I don't have a name even when my mother was alive the villagers didn't let her name me.” Rachal smiled and put a hand on her shoulder and thought,' this girl reminds me of Rose I have an idea!'

Rachal asked,” Do you like the name Rosemary?” The girl nodded happily with the name and said,” Thank you…Mother.” Rachal smiled and saw that they were half way to the camp. Rachal then saw two people in the path Rachal knew who they were and jumped down from New Moon.

Rachal then heard a loud squeal of mother and saw Maric and Quentin both soaked in their wet clothes. Rachal was tackled to the ground by Quentin as soon as she got close giving him a tight hug asked,” Why are you all wet and your father also?” Looking at Maric's frustrated face he was pointing to Star who was also wet. Maric explained,” Quentin and I had just gotten dressed when she came out of the trees startling everyone even Sesshomaru into falling back into the water, when she jumped on me!”

Rachal couldn't help but laugh imagining a soaked Sesshomaru! Maric then saw Rosemary and asked Rachal who told them everything. Rosemary and Quentin acted like brother and sister as soon as they saw each other. Then everyone left to the camp and everyone liked Rosemary.

It was later that night when Rachal asked Quentin and Rosemary,” If you had one wish what would it be?” Quentin and Rosemary thought about his for a while then answered the same, that they couldn't want anything because they now had Rachal and Maric. This warmed Rachal and Maric's hearts.

Rachal then asked Miroku the same question, he said that he felt incomplete without the Wind Tunnel and wished it would return only that it would never consume his body and stay the same size and he could control it easily. Lastly he wanted Sango to be happy. Rachal nodded and sat next to Inuyasha and asked him the same thing, but he did not answer right away. Finally he said that he wanted Kagome to be a half demon like him but only if she wanted it. Also that Kikyo could be put to rest. Rachal smiled at the answer.

Next she asked Shippo who said that he didn't want anything because he had Kagome and Inuyasha and they were like parents to him and he wished for their happiness. Rachal was surprised by how grownup Shippo sounded and smiled. Then left to find Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru was next to the fire talking with Kagura who left when Rachal reached him. Rachal smiled,” Hey Sesshomaru. Is it okay if I ask you a question?” Rachal sat next to Sesshomaru in the grass. Sesshomaru nodded saying to ask her question. Rachal took a breath and said,” If you had one wish what would it be?”

Sesshomaru looked at her shocked and then replied,” I would wish for Rin to have the life span of a demon because she is like a daughter to me. I would not tell anyone one this but since you are Maric's mate even if he has not marked you yet, you are family and I want to bring the Tashio family back together.” Rachal was shocked and nodded then walked over to Maric who was sitting in a tree branch.

`Marking. Maric hasn't marked me! I know how dog demons mark each other so they are bonded forever. I need to tell Maric that he can mark me. I mean we've been calling each other mates so we should make it official so other demons know and will probably no discouraged to attack me even though now that Tirushu is teaching me in my sleep, also I will learn from Kagura. Also I am now as strong as Maric with my weather powers.' Rachal thought.

It was true Rachal could now shot lightning from her fingertips and make powerful whirlwinds and cyclones. Also was able to make her needles have am electric charge and electrocute the enemies it hit.
