Part V – Life Long Mates



“How do you feel, Kagome? Are you very sore?” Inu asked tenderly, lying on his back with Kagome’s head tucked under his chin.

“Well…I doubt I’ll be walking anytime soon, but I’ll be alright,” she answered lightheartedly with her arm wrapped securely around Inu’s chest.

“I’m sorry. I tried to be gentle, Kagome,” Inu apologized softly, feeling guilty that he had been the cause of her pain.

“Its okay, Inuyasha,” she said while stroking his chest, trying to comfort the guilt-ridden hanyou. “It only hurt for a few minutes. It’ll be easier the next time.

With his chest spooning Kagome’s back and his head nestled in the crook of her neck, Koga asked hopefully, “So there’s going to be a next time?”

“You bet. I want to feel you inside of me too, ya know,” she purred and rubbed her backside against his groin.

Whispering in her ear Koga said, “Damn right my little miko. I get you next,” and licked her shoulder.

“Yes you do, Koga, just not today, okay. I’m too exhausted,” she whined.

“I never knew how sexually aggressive you could be, Kagome. How did I ever miss that?” Inu chided, idly tracing a claw around her breast.

“Well, maybe if you had tried something a little sooner you would have found out, baka,” she reprimanded, playfully swatting his hand away.

“Feh! I thought I was protecting your honor, Kagome,” the half demon retorted defensively. “I honestly didn’t think you would want to be my lover without us being mated. I thought you wanted to be a virgin when you married someone from your own time. If I had known it didn’t matter to you, I would have taken you as my lover a long time ago,” he ended with a lecherous smirk.

“I know and I appreciate your intentions, Inuyasha. They were very honorable. But you need to realize that girls from my time don’t have to be married to have sex with the person they love,” she tried to explain. “A lot of couples even live together before they decide to get married.”

“People are much more open-minded about such things in the modern era. Well, at least my generation is. My mom’s generation is still a bit old fashioned,” she sighed.

“I think I’d like to visit your time, Kagome,” Koga interjected enthusiastically.

“Not on my watch, wolf,” Inu growled jealously, “You’re mine, and don’t ever forget it.”

“He’s quite possessive, isn’t he, Kagome?” The wolf prince snickered.

“Just finding that out now, are you?” She giggled back.

“Feh,” Inu snorted. “Look who’s talking, Mister ‘do it now’,” then winked at his wolf letting Koga know he was just teasing. Because in truth, Inu loved Koga’s aggressive take charge side during sex. It allowed Inu to drop his guard and relax letting Koga protect and take care of him, something the hanyou could never allow himself to do since he became the leader and protector of the group with which he travels.

“I can’t help it. You’re such a beautiful puppy, Inuyasha. It’s not my fault that when I look at you I want to possess you and take care of you in every way, knowing that you trust me and are truly mine,” the wolf responded sheepishly, burying his face in Kagome’s hair.

“You know I trust you, Koga. Besides, that tight ass of yours belongs to me now, so you’re not going anywhere and neither am I,” he said gruffly while stroking the wolf’s hair.

Koga flashed his pearly white fangs at his hanyou and winked back in agreement.

Inu smiled and cuddled his miko and wolf prince tighter.

“Okay, you two go beyond cute. Who would have ever thought that the two biggest rivals of all time would end up being mated,” Kagome voiced to her demon lovers. “And speaking of mating, how come neither one of you has a mating mark yet?” Kagome questioned and sat up, wincing a bit from the tenderness she felt between her thighs.

Koga rolled onto his back propping himself up with his elbows stating, “You’ll have to ask Inuyasha about that.”

Sitting up as well, Inu rested his forearms on his bended knees and stared sweetly into Kagome’s eyes. “I wanted to speak with you first, Kagome, about all that’s happened between Koga and me. I mean, everything has happened so fast. I needed to know that you understood why, even though I love you too, I’ve chosen to mate with Koga. You weren’t supposed to catch us like you did, before I had a chance to talk to you,” Inu blushed a little.

“Maybe not, but I’m glad I did. That was so hot! Do you two have any idea how sexy you are together? I could sit back and watch you two make love all night,” Kagome said while ogling the two beautifully naked demons as if they were a gourmet dinner. Inu and Koga blushed deeply lowering their eyes as they all of a sudden, felt very naked.

The demons had no idea that Kagome was an avid yaoi fan. When she’d finish her homework, she’d go straight to her computer to read yaoi fan fiction and look at yaoi art. (Sorry, I had to throw that in ^_~)

“So if you’re looking for my approval or blessing you have it. As long as I get to play with you both once in a while, I’ll be a happy camper,” she ended with a naughty smile.

“Kagome, what’s a camper?” Koga asked confused.

“Never mind,” she shook her head laughing. “I just want us all to be happy and I think that this is the best way.”

“I’m glad we have your blessing,” Inu gave the raven-haired miko a grateful hug. “I love you so much, Kagome, your happiness means everything to me,” he added softly in her ear.

“I know and I am, Inuyasha,” and hugged him back.

Breaking the tender moment between Inu and Kagome, Koga chirped in excitedly, feeling as if he had just figured out the meaning of life, and asked, “Kagome, why can’t you use the Jewel to become a demon or extend your life?”

Inuyasha sat back sadly with an inner sigh. He had already thought of that a long time ago but knew Kagome would never use it.

“Well… I could, Koga. But if I were to use the Jewel for selfish gain, then wouldn’t that make me just as evil as those demons who try to steal the Jewel to increase their power, like Naraku. No. The wish I make on the Sacred Jewel has to be one which will protect it and keep it out of reach from those who would sully and corrupt it,” she said adamantly, searching Koga’s eyes for understanding.

“You’re right; I should have known you wouldn’t use it for yourself.” Koga sadly agreed and leaned over to nuzzle and nip at her neck.

With a giggle, she pushed Koga back and said, “Good, now that all the mushy stuff is settled, I’m going to rinse off in the spring and get dressed. I need to get back to the village.”

Standing up abruptly, she felt her legs wobble weakly beneath her as she tried to take a step. Inu and Koga both jumped up to assist her as all three walked slowly over to the water.

“Kagome, why are you going back to the village so soon?” Inu pouted.

“Yeah, why don’t you stay overnight, that way we can play some more?” Koga added with a naughty grin.

“I’d love to, but I’m still a little sore and really tired,” she huffed. “Plus, the others will worry and come looking for us and I don’t want them to disturb you two while you’re taking care of your unfinished business,” she said nonchalantly.

“What do we have to take care of, Kagome? Inu asked a bit puzzled.

“Well…Koga needs to make an honest hanyou out of you, and you need to make an honest wolf out of Koga,” she smiled with a gleam in her eye.

“Huh,” both demons grunted.

Kagome stopped, turned to both of them and placing a hand on each one’s chest said, “I don’t want to see either one of you again until you have a mating mark to show me. Got that,” she glared at them.

“Don’t worry my little miko, we got it,” Koga said and scooped her up bridal style as they entered the spring to wash up.

After coaxing Kilala out of the bushes, the three lovers washed up, got dressed, and waited for the subduing spell to ware off of Inuyasha since Kagome had ‘sat’ him for ruining her panties, Kagome headed off towards the village waving goodbye shouting, “See ya back at the village tomorrow. We do have shards to find, ya know.”

Kagome was a very, very happy miko. Not only did she finally have the gorgeous hanyou she longed for as her lover, but she now has the handsome wolf prince as well.

‘Could life get any better than this,’ she thought to herself happily and then frowned, realizing that she was going to have to explain all of this to the rest of the group. After letting out a groan, she and the fire neko made their way back to the village.

The two demons watched her leave thinking how lucky they are to have such a beautiful and understanding woman by their side, who loves them as much as they love her.

“So, my handsome blue eyed wolf prince, what should we do now?” The hanyou asked enticingly, staring into his wolf’s eyes as his claws gently scraped up the back of Koga’s thighs teasingly. He slid them downward and slowly inched his way around to the front, dragging his claws up the steel muscles and under the fur wrap. Inu was getting dangerously close to Koga’s loin cloth covered treasure.

Koga groaned and grabbed Inu’s hands, trapping them behind the half demon’s back and gave him a sweet and gentle wet kiss. Pulling away he looked deep into Inuyasha’s gleaming eyes and said, “Not here, puppy, I want to take you back to my ‘our’ den,” then dipped his head to nuzzle and suck on the hanyou’s neck.

Inu tilted his head back giving Koga better access and closed his eyes as a shiver racked his body. Koga’s lips were always so hot and wet against his skin causing the hanyou’s body temperature to increase immediately.

“Why? I don’t think I can wait that long. I need you now,” Inuyasha whined as his cock was hardening quickly.

“Because,” Koga purred in between kisses and licks against his puppy’s neck, “I want to show off the strongest (kiss) sexiest (lick) most beautiful hanyou (kiss) that’s agreed to be my mate, but more importantly (long suck)I want us to become life long mates in the den you’ll be settling down in with me, once we’ve destroyed Naraku.”

“Then you better stop what you’re doing, wolf, because in another minute I’m going to throw you on the ground and fuck you senseless,” he said breathlessly.

“Mmmmmmmm, save that thought for our den, Inu,” Koga whispered and reluctantly gave the hanyou’s succulent neck one last lick.

Inuyasha grinned mischievously and said, “So, you finally concede that I’m stronger then you. Well it’s about damn time, wolf.”

“Oi, you wish, puppy,” Koga responded just as playfully, “I said strongest HANYOU!”

“Fuck you, you know I could kick your ass if either one of us ever really tried to hurt the other.” Inu loved verbally sparring with the wolf demon.

“You know you’d only win if you were using Tetsusaiga, dog boy. That is, if you could ever catch me. Other than that, I guess we’ll never know now will we?” Koga snickered slyly.

The wolf demon would never admit it out loud but he knew in his heart that even as a half demon, Inuyasha was the stronger of the two which is why he gained a secret respect for the hanyou from the moment they first met and fought.

Inu growled and pulled Koga into a bruising deep and wet kiss then released him and said, “You’re right, wolfie, we’ll never know now, but it would have been fun trying to find out,” and gave his wolf a fanged smile.

After a quick chaste kiss, the two demons took off heading towards the wolf demon’s lair hidden in the northern mountains.

Inuyasha and Koga reached the wolf tribe’s lair just before the sun was ready to set. The lair was located on the side of a mountain above a pristine, crystal clear lake teeming with fresh fish. The lake was surrounded by a lush green forest of trees and bushes which provide the pack with fresh fruit and berries. It was also home to the wolves’ favorite prey of venison and wild boar.

The wolves’ lair was situated high enough to watch for approaching enemies and camouflaged by a large waterfall. The mountain side, itself, was riddled with large and small caves which the wolves used as their dens.

They were immediately greeted by Ginta, who happened to be on guard duty.

“Hey Koga, you’re back!” Ginta exclaimed excitedly, then turned to Inuyasha and gave him a big, ‘I know what you two have been doing’ grin.

“What the fuck are you grinning at wolf?” Inu growled at Ginta, feeling as if he were being made fun of.

“N-nothing, Inuyasha Sama. We were all hoping you’d come back with Koga. Welcome!” Ginta offered nervously, bowing to the hanyou as a sign of respect.

All the wolves in the pack knew how powerful and hot-tempered the hanyou was and no one wanted to get on the half demon’s bad side, least of all Ginta, one of Koga’s most loyal and trusted comrades.

“Feh! Whatever, just drop the sama. I’m not my asshole brother,” Inu snorted rudely and defensively.

After having spent most of his life being shunned and alienated from demons and humans alike, Inuyasha had developed a pretty thick wall to protect his feelings. Even though he knew that Koga accepted and loved him, he was still very leery of the rest of the pack, despite Ginta’s friendly welcome.

Sensing Inu’s uneasiness and understanding the reasoning behind it, Koga took Inu’s hand in his and gave it a squeeze.

“It’s okay, Inu, relax. I’ve already discussed with the pack the possibility of us mating and there were no objections. They will accept you just as I have,” Koga tried to reassure his beloved and then added, “As a matter of fact, they strongly preferred you over Kagome as my mate.”

Inu was shocked at this information and uttered skeptically, “Really?”

“Yes, puppy,” the wolf prince whispered and pulled Inu hard against his chest, capturing the hanyou’s lips in a searing, toe curling kiss which left no room for doubt in Inuyasha’s mind.

Ginta blushed at the open display of affection his prince bestowed on his soon to be mate as the rest of the pack, who had come out and surrounded the two, began howling and cheering their approval.

The wolf and hanyou finally broke apart, a bit breathless with crimson coloring their cheeks. Regaining his composure quickly, Koga yelled out to his pack, “Don’t you all have duties you should attend to!”

Not wanting to incur Prince Koga’s wrath the wolves scurried off, leaving Inuyasha and Koga alone.

“Come on, puppy; let me show you our den,” and tugged on Inu’s hand to follow.

Inu followed Koga while observing the tribe prepare for the coming nightfall. Torches were lit and fire pits were being fueled with kindling and firewood to cook the day’s fresh kill.

The females, who were not tending to the young, were busy cutting up fresh vegetables and herbs from their gardens that will be served with the cooked meats of venison and wild boar.

No one went hungry in Koga’s pack. All prey killed during a hunt, as well as any vegetables and herbs gathered, were shared equally between the wolf tribe.

Upon reaching Koga’s den, they entered a large room illuminated by torches spaced out along the walls. In the center of the room were ten large tree stumps placed in a circle. Inu assumed it was for important tribal meetings.

They quickly moved through a long passageway also lit with torches, leading into another large room which appeared to be Koga’s living quarters.

When they entered Koga’s private residence Inu’s jaw dropped as he stood transfixed, ogling the room.

Reflecting off the torches and candles, the walls seemed to glitter brightly with a life of their own from an unknown mineral deposit embedded within the cave walls, exuding a tranquil and romantic ambiance. On one side of the room, Koga displayed a beautiful tapestry which hung on the wall depicting two wolf demons; a father and son taking down a large buck. From closer inspection, the hanyou noticed the deep cobalt eyes and long raven hair bound in a ponytail high atop their head that both father and son shared.

“Is this you and your father?” Inu questioned softly.

“I don’t know, but as soon as I saw it in a village we raided I knew I had to have it,” the wolf demon answered back just as softly and without remorse for the theft.

Tearing his eyes away from the tapestry, Inu snickered to himself as he looked over other obviously stolen items. Inuyasha was not surprised; however, as it was common for demons to occasionally ransack a village for supplies and valuable treasures.

Decorating the opposite side of the room were a matching wooden dresser and armoire set. The edges were delicately carved to resemble vines and leaves while the front was intricately carved to mimic a forest scene. The armoire was tall and large enough to house the wolf prince’s armor and swords. His dresser held the rest of his clothes including extra fur wraps, loin cloths and strips of white cloth to wrap his feet with. On top of the dresser Koga placed a brush, comb, leather hair ties, and matching head bands.

Against the third wall was a couch covered in fur pelts with a wooden table in front. Off to the side of the couch stood a table and two chairs which served as the eating area. And scattered about on the floor were large fluffy fur skins from various animals. But what truly caught the hanyou’s attention was the sleeping area. Koga’s bed was a large futon that matched the armoire and dresser and was covered in expensive red silken sheets with a black plushy, handmade quilt. Pillows of gold, red, black, and brown were tossed about haphazardly on top of the bed. It looked very comfortable and… romantic.

Inu looked at his wolf with an accusing, yet, ‘I’m impressed’ stare and joked, “Steal much, wolfie?”

Koga smiled slyly, “Just the spoils of past raids, puppy.”

“Fucking nice ass den,” Inu complimented with a grin.

“There’s more, koi, follow me.” Koga reached out to take Inu’s hand which the hanyou readily accepted.

Following Koga through another long passageway, Inu could feel the temperature rise and then heard the sound of a small waterfall. ‘What the fuck?’ The hanyou thought to himself.

Exiting the narrow corridor, Inuyasha found himself in the middle of an underground hot spring. “You are one fucking spoiled wolf prince, Koga. You have your own damn hot spring in your den!” Inu exclaimed in disbelief.

“Convenient, don’t you think?” Koga chuckled jovially. “Being the Lord of the Northern Territory does have its advantages.

“Ya think,” Inu snorted while rolling his eyes.

The hot spring was large enough for at least twenty people to bathe in but was reserved for Koga’s private use. A light steam arose from the water warming the air while fresh water spurted out of a three foot wide by one foot long opening. The spring was shallow around the edges for easy access which slowly declined to a twenty foot depth at the center. A gentle current below the surface circulated the water throughout the mountain, keeping it filtered to pristine clarity.

“So, koi, do you think you could be happy with me here? You can add or change anything you want, puppy,” Koga said as he placed his arm around Inu, pressing him against his side securely and nuzzling his nose just behind a soft furry ear.

“Yeah,” the hanyou responded somewhat forlorn and appeared to be lost in thought.

“What’s wrong, puppy? Why do you look so sad?” Koga was getting concerned, not sure what had changed his mood so quickly.

“It’s just…I haven’t had a real home since my mother died, that’s all,” he sighed. “I’m just a little overwhelmed.”

“I think there’s more to it than that, love,” Koga whispered quietly. “You know you can tell me anything, right? So tell me what’s going on in that beautiful head of yours,” and pulled Inu’s back against his chest, wrapping his strong and comforting arms around the hanyou’s waist.

Inuyasha took comfort in Koga’s warm embrace and after taking a deep breathe; he decided to share his thoughts and feelings with his wolf.

“After my mother died I was completely alone. Demons hated me because of my human blood and humans feared and rejected me because I looked liked a demon. Kikyo was the first person to treat me with any sort of kindness,” Inu explained. “But she never truly accepted me either. She said she loved me but wouldn’t let me make love to her until I was all human,” he added sadly.

“Kagome was the one who taught me how to love and trust again. She accepted and loved all of me without question,” the hanyou smiled, thinking of his Kagome. “But even though I love her and would give my life protecting her, what I feel for you is different. I feel safe when we’re together. I don’t always have to be the sole protector like I need to be with Kagome. You’re a strong demon who’s more than capable of taking care of himself and protecting his pack,” he said with conviction.

Koga flashed a toothy smile back at his lover and lowered his head to steal a sweet kiss from Inu’s soft lips; pulling back he responded thoughtfully, “I think I understand how you feel, puppy. Having a strong mate gives you a sense of security. I take comfort knowing I don’t have to worry when you go off somewhere by yourself.”

Snuggling closer Inu added, “I guess that’s why I prefer you as seme more often then not when we make love. It makes me feel like I’m being taken care of when you take charge,” he then chuckled, “But don’t let that go to your head, wolf,” and reached back grabbing Koga’s ass giving it a playful squeeze, “I do enjoy drilling this tight ass of yours and watch you squirm. You’re such a screamer,” Inu laughed.

“Hey!” Koga feigned outrage. He then took on a more serious tone and whispered, “I’m sorry you’ve been treated so badly, my love. No one has the right to think that they’re better then another solely based on bloodline or appearance,” the wolf prince said angrily. “And unfortunately I was one of those fools, that is until I realized that you’re stronger and more powerful than any full yokai I’ve ever come across and have more heart and courage than any human or demon alike,” Koga said adamantly. “You’re also the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen, Inuyasha,” and kissed his puppy’s cheek.

“I’m going to keep you happy and make you forget the past,” Koga promised.

“My past is what’s shaped me into the person I am today, Koga. I don’t need to forget. All I need is you by my side,” Inu intoned as his heart overflowed with love.

“You’ve got me, puppy, and I’m going to show you just how much,” Koga growled spinning the slightly shorter hanyou around and tossed him over his shoulder as he made his way back through the corridor towards their bed.

“What the fuck are you doing, put me down!” Inu yelled only to be ignored by a very determined and horny wolf demon.

Once Koga reached his bed, he unceremoniously dumped the hanyou on his back in the center of his very comfortable and soft futon that was; at least, two feet off the ground.

“There, you’re down, puppy,” Koga grinned evilly. “Now, don’t move my sexy hanyou.”

Koga stood at the foot of the bed facing Inuyasha and began to slowly remove each article of his clothing.

The wolf demon lifted his right foot and placed it on the bed, giving Inu a nice glimpse up the wolf’s ‘skirt’ and began unfastening the fur that incased his leg just below the knee. After unwinding the white cloth strips that protect his feet, he switched legs to repeat his last actions and then moved on to discard his fur wrist cuffs. Looking directly into Inu’s golden orbs, Koga donned a saucy smile and proceeded to alleviate himself of his chest armor, letting it drop to the ground with a thud.

Inu licked his lips and propped himself up with a pillow as he watched his wolf strip for him. Koga’s bronze skin glowed under the candle light of the room and with each movement the wolf made his steel muscles flexed and rippled. Koga was every bit the tall, dark and handsome, testosterone-dripping male. Inu growled softly as he felt his length harden and strain within the confines of his hakama.

Standing in nothing more than a fur wrap and loin cloth, Koga slid off his headband allowing his bangs to partially fall over his eyes. Giving his puppy a seductive look through wisps of inky black hair, he released his trademark ponytail; slowly combing his fingers through the long tresses pulling some of the lush raven locks over is chest. Never taking his indigo gaze off the hanyou, he dragged his fingertips over his torso and down to his muscular abdomen.

Reaching out his arms, Inu growled, “Get over here now, wolf.

“Show some patience, koi,” Koga answered with a hint of lust in his voice while his tail moved gracefully in a slow rhythmic mating dance behind him. Slowly moving his hands over the front of his fur wrap, the wolf gently caressed his growing arousal and moaned as he tried to lessen the ache between his bronze thighs.

With a roguish smile, Koga slipped his hands underneath his fur skin and ripped off his loin cloth tossing it aside.

“You are such a fucking tease,” Inu growled as he watched Koga fisting his stiff member underneath the fur skin.

With a groan, Koga abandoned his aching cock and reached behind his back to untie the last piece of clothing that hid his prominent manhood and said, “Only with you, Inuyasha,” and let the small piece of material fall gracefully to the floor.

“You are so sexy, Koga. Every fucking muscular inch of you,” Inu moaned, while rubbing his hardened sex as he arched his back, stretching more like a graceful cat than a dog.

While slowly stroking his own velvet rod, Koga licked his lips and gazed upon the half demon as he stretched; showing off the huge erection that was threatening to split his pants wide open. It was truly a bewitching sight.

Not wanting to waste another minute away from this walking wet dream, Koga let out a predatory growl and slowly slinked across the bed to Inuyasha. Throwing a leg over his hips, the wolf straddled the hanyou and whispered, “Do you have any idea how beautiful you are, Inuyasha?”

Inu growled and raised his hips just as Koga rolled his groin down, rotating his hard staff of desire in teasingly slow and gentle circles against the hanyou’s. They closed their eyes and moaned contentedly from the smoldering friction the gentle massaging caused. Inuyasha tried to press his hips up harder into the unyielding heat but Koga lifted his ass up to avoid the hanyou’s vigorous thrust.

Without touching, Koga lowered his sinewy chest to Inus' and placed his arms on either side of his puppy’s head. Now, nose to nose with the silver-haired Adonis, Koga’s long ebony tresses formed a satin shield around the two as the wolf demon growled softly, “Behave, puppy. We’re doing this my way. I’m going to taste…touch…lick and suck every inch of your sweet skin and I’m in no rush. You’re the one who’ll be screaming, my love, when I sink my fangs into your neck marking you as mine,” and gave his nose a quick nip.

“Then touch me already, wolf,” Inu groaned with need, “My dick is so hard it hurts and I need to free it,” arching his hips up shamefully.

“No puppy. I want to undress you slowly, myself,” Koga grinned.

As Inuyasha whimpered his frustration, Koga tenderly pushed Inu’s bangs away from his eyes. He then retrieved a large section of soft silver hair between his splayed fingers and after bringing the locks up to his face, he rubbed the strands against his cheek and inhaled the fresh, woodsy scent.

Gently scoring his claws down Koga’s strong back, Inu stared accusingly into his wolf’s indigo pools and playfully sniggered, “I think you just love me for my hair, wolf.”

“Puppy, if I could fuck your hair I would,” he chuckled. “But since I can’t I’ll have to be content with swimming in it,” and sank both hands into Inu’s scalp, pulling the hanyou’s head forward and slid his mouth over one furry ear.
