No, I am not going to do any diffrent because this is how I have been taught to write... Now you know... you do not have to tell me...!

Well... now that I have said that...

Sango stood on the top of the mountain, her eyes laid on the small village below. She scanned the area for demons but none could be found. She sighed and fished up a small leather pouch, she did not have much money left, but it should give her a room at the inn, a meal and a hot bath. She began the walk down the mountainside, thinking about the past. "It has been five years Sango, five years. Your brother gave you his life to save yours, leaving without any kind of blood relative. You were too restless to stay on with Kagome and the boys; you just had to move on. You have only your self to blame for this lonely walk of life." She cursed when she felt hot tears trail down her cheek; once again she had let the memories make her weak and vulnerable. She cursed the fact that she had been to weak to protect her brother, she was the older sibling, they were suppose to care and protect the younger ones, not seeing them die before your very eyes. But deep in her heart she knew that she never could have saved him, she had been too wounded. She had been lifted from the battle field in a white lightning. When she finally awoke inside Kaede's hut, the old miko told her that it was Inuyasha's brother, Lord Sesshoumaru, which had carried her away from the battle field. It surprised Sango; never would she have guessed that the Lord would have done that to save a human's life. But she had been grateful for his help, but she never had the possibility to thank him for his kindness. As soon as she was healed she said good bye to her friends and began to travel over the land.

Sango used the back of her left hand to wipe away the tears that was falling again. She had roamed over the lands during these five years, alone, never staying more than a few days in one place. She missed the fire cat Kirara, but she had fallen against Naraku's hordes of demons. The little youkai with the power to transform into a large cat demon had an honourable place inside the shrine at Kaede's village. A bronze statue watched over the village.

A few depressive hours later Sango lay all the way up to her nose in hot water. She felt how the water did some serious magic with her tired limbs. She cleaned off all the dust and mud, something she had put on herself. After a couple of months after she had left she realized that she would be travelling with more freedom if she pretended to be a young man. So she had cut of her waist long hair and she used mud and dirt to disguise her even more. She had stopped wearing the slayer suit; instead she wore black baggy pants and a black haori. She wrapped her breasts, making them smaller than they were in reality. This had been a difficult transformation, but the result was FREEDOM, she did not have to worry about being flirted with, groped or molested on the road when she travelled.

Her eyelids dropped and she sighed, content for the moment inside the bathing house, the light scent of the cleaning herbs and the hot water made her drowsy and she knew she would be sleeping soon if she did not came up from the tub.

Sango made an ugly face when she felt a tremor inside her soul. "Fuck, Fuck!!" she swore silently and heaved her body from the bath tub with one fluid movement. She knew exactly was the tremor was - trouble spelling youkai. She wiped off her body and took on her clothes with an impressive speed and took her two swords in her hands, not bothering wearing her shoes. Her old weapon, the giant boomerang called Hiraikotsu, had been destroyed in a battle a couple of years ago. Now she used two short swords instead. And she was good at it too. She looked around and smirked cynical as she saw the beetle demon. It was no big deal for her.

With a graceful jump she landed on the youkai's back and stabbed her two swords into its neck, making the killing less messy and within seconds the beetle was choking on its own blood. "Disturb a demon slayer in her bath and you must pay the prize." She thought and removed her swords and jumped off the black shining body and landed with a soundless thump on the ground again. She hurried back to her room, not taking note of the cheerful claps and shouts coming from the villagers. She had taken a chance when she killed the demon, without the breast binding and the dirt, she looked like a women, with short hair. But it seemed like no one had noticed the slight bouncing shadows over her black chest area. She closed the sliding door behind her and moved to the futon. She laid down and a few moments later she went into a very light sleep. She had to get moving early in the morning, she did not want to explain anything towards the villagers.

When the first rays of the sun coloured the sky pink she was long gone.

But what she did not know was that a rumour had started, it talked about a black clothed young man who helped villagers to get rid of pestering youkais. And when she reached the next village she was greeted like a small hero.
