The next day

Kagome was in the police station, before 8:30. When she got there she was wearing black pants, a black shirt, her shoes were the military boots and around her neck was a piece of the Shikon Jewel, that her and her sister had broken, when they were little.

[Flash back to when she and her sister were 8 years older]

Kikyo and Kagome had got a jewel that they were supposed to share. Kagome was holding and looking at it, until Kikyo grab it out of her hand, and put it around her neck.

"Hey I was looking at that.'' said a little versed of Kagome

"No way, it mine'' said Kikyo as she looked at it.

``Uh, uh, Grandma Keade give it to both of us.'' Said Kagome as she tried to grab the jewel from Kikyo.

But when they did that Kikyo pulled the other way and Kagome the other, until it broke into half.

"Look what you did to my jewel.'' Shouted an angry Kikyo as held her piece of the jewel.

Kagome just looked at the jewel, and thought of what she just did.

[End of flash black]

Kagome came back to the real world, when she heard her name from a certain hanyou called.

"Kagome''

She tucked away the jewel and turned to talk to Inuyasha.

"What do you want, Inu?'' said Kagome

`Oh, I don't know maybe I am here trying to save a case.'' Said Inuyasha as he shoved some files into her hands, while he carried a lightly load.

"Hey, why do you get the lightly files.'' Said Kagome as she followed him into his office.

"Because I want too.'' Said Inuyasha as he sat down at his desk; his desk was filed up with papers and more papers.

`He says that I should clean my desk look at his.'' Thought Kagome

Kagome found a clean area, and sat down there, and start to read the files.

The files said the name of the ambassador and his wife.

Husband's name: Mark Kistune [fox demon]

Wife's name: MaryAnn Kistune [fox demon]

Has one son name Shippo currently in the hospital, recovering from injuries. Kagome continue to read, the information that she was given and looked at the picture that was take before the victim's were attacked and after with their dead bodies.

She looked at both of the dead parents photo be fore and after pictures. She noticed that in the first photo before they died the parents had two bracelets on their wrist, which looked like old Japanese stuff.

But she looked at the pictures of when the died, she notice that they were not wear them. Kagome jumped up and ran to Inuyasha and said "Look at these pictures, do you notice anything different about them.''

Inuyasha looked up at her, and then looked at the picture, and notice nothing on them.

"No'' said Inuyasha as he went back to reading his files.

"But don't you see that before the died the women has a old looking bracket on her right wrist and same for the man, but only on his left hand.'' Said Kagome point out between the pictures.

"So what maybe the murder was a pickpocket.'' Said Inuyasha

"Ahh'' said Kagome walking away from him, and go back to her spot on the ground.

After she was done with her work, she had some dinner and went home to get some sleep. But when she hit the pillow, which is when the nightmares came.
