InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Works a B*tch ❯ NOTE FROM ME ( Chapter 6 )
I know some of you are probably confused about Kagome's job, etc, so I'll explain it a little better (I'll try, at least) OK, Kagome works at a jewelry company, basically, called Shikon Company. They have different sections of workers. There are 4 sections.
There are the people that research, and that's what Kagome does. She researches different areas that might be good selling places, or areas that have famous jewelry from ages ago (for example, King Tut's tomb…or someplace in Egypt…you know?)
Then there are the people that work on getting jewels like: diamonds, rubies, pearls, sapphires, emeralds, opals, etc.
Then there is the section of people that make earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and the works with the jewelry.
Then there are the sellers. You have to be very good at this to be a seller. Inuyasha is a seller. This part is important because that's how the company makes the money, by selling the jewelry.
Then there is Kagome's Ji-chan. When he was younger, he used to be a famous archeologist, and he discovered many famous things. He also discovered the Shikon no Tama, but he never told anybody about it (nobody is really sure why…not even me! lol)
Anyways, he decided to give it to Kagome as a gift for her 8th birthday. He told her to put it away and keep it safe, so that's why it was under Kagome's bed the entire time.
I'll say he was really superstitious and believed that there was a sort of curse on it that if you touched it, a giant demon would come out of it and kill you, so when he gave it to Kagome, he warned her never to touch it, but she could still look. What, you think I'd make her ji-chan that mean? lol as long as it's never touched, it's not dangerous (supposedly not dangerous, of course)
Ok, I hope that helped, and now I have to write chapter 6!
