Well college is a pain, tests, tests, and just for the fun of it more tests. Ahhhh and people are so perky and happy here; all I have to say is what the hell are they high on. Ok well I know you all want me to shut-up so, I don't own Inu-Yasha don't sue and on with the fic.

**********No major change just saw a mistake and I'm trying to get over some writers block any comments/ errors you find and point out would be helpful. If anyone wants to make a suggestion for the fic feel free, no grantee I'll use it but it might help my writers block.

Chapter 20

Father and Son talk

The group returned to the steps to think about what had just happened. Notice almost at once some of the servants were rush up the stairs or were rush down and past the group. After about 12th servants, Inu-Yasha could take it no long and yelled at the closes one, which happened to be a poor elderly maid.

"Hey what's going on up stairs that you're all rushing around for?"

"Inu-Yasha, Sit Boy! You scared the poor old women nearly to death are you happy now?"

"It's alright dear. He and Sesshoumaru are just like their father when they get in a mood, want to know something, or things just aren't going their way they throw tantrums and send this whole house into chaos. However, I do thank you for whatever you did… That's what these two boys will need in the future someone who will put them in their place every now and then."

"Feh!"

All eyes once again turned to Inu-Yasha as he pulled himself from the floor. However, before he could get completely up their came a thunderous roar from upstairs.

"Inu-Yasha!! Up stairs NOW!!! I want to have a word with you!"

Everyone except Sesshoumaru and Inu-Yasha jumped back in fright, Inu-Yasha slowly got up and started up the stairs. Kagome look up and watched him walk away unable to thing of anything to do. Once Inu-Yasha got to the top of the stairs, he turned left into his father's wing. He had only been in the wing about ten or fifteen time scene coming to live with his father, this was due to his father's work schedule his schooling and just never having a desire to see his father.

Well that was not completely true. He had at one time wanted to know his father, right after he had come to live with his father and half brother, but some how it quickly vanished. He know from the memories he had just received that his former self had never know or was close to his father that gave him some comfort but not much.

As he pasted down the hall, he saw huge beautiful painting on ether side of the walls on one wall Inu-Yasha's mother. The other he could only guess was Sesshoumaru's, she was beautiful, Sesshoumaru's elegant face but with two changes her hair was an almost golden chestnut brown and her eyes had a light to them that Inu-Yasha had never seen in her son's. In addition, he noticed while his mother's pictures where casual and in everyday places, almost all the painting of Sesshoumaru's mother was in the wilds, forests and meadows.

"See loved nature and the environment, helped that cause as much as she could."

Inu-Yasha turned his head quickly away from the painting to see his father in the hall outside his office door waiting for him. Inu-Yasha his dad was about to start yelling but he kept talking.

"Before she meets me she had dreams of traveling to Africa or going whale watching and studying them in all the great seas and oceans… She even said once about taking Sesshoumaru to see the northern lights and then traveling down the Americas. A very adventurous woman, she was… Then your mom, I had so hoped thing would turn out different this time so you could have had us both."

Nodding at first Inu-Yasha had not realized what he had said but then it hit him like a ton of bricks.

"Wait what did you say?"

"Come with me son I need to tell you something."

They walked into the office and had a seat, Inu-Yasha waited for his father to take a sip of tea then he cleared his throat to speck.

"Inu-Yasha, now please try to understand what I'm about to tell you… A long time a go when I was a young man about the age Sesshoumaru is now I had a vision in my sleep that kept coming night after night I couldn't sleep, it reached the point where I was afraid I was going crazy… Every night a voice from the blackness would call out to me to meet a girl Izayoi, telling me that she was waiting for me, that I had to be with her she was the one for me then I saw it the last night the dreams came I saw my past. I saw what had happened to me, then I saw her Izayoi, as I had seen her last in my past life she was holding you, and I know the minute I saw her and you that you were my son and that I was suppose to find this women so that you could be born… However, I was young and stupid and did not listen, I was at the time very much in love with Aiko, Sesshoumaru's mother, so I ignored it and after a while, it went away… I got married to Aiko but was not happy and then like an angel who fell from heaven just for me Izayoi appeared. I tried not to fall for her but I could not help myself then Aiko died and all I wanted was Izayoi by my side. By this time she had already had you and we wanted to marry quickly, now I wish I had waited maybe then she'd be alive."

Inu-Yasha sat in shock for a minute; he was beginning to see his father in a completely new light. Then a thought hit him.

"So you know this whole time…Everything?"

"No I didn't know about the coma, that girl, your new friends, or even that Sesshoumaru was involved… All I know was that there was something special about you, that you would do something truly great."

There was a pause and a moment of silence where both were lost in thought, then Inu-Yasha's father broke the silence.

"Inu-Yasha I'm not sure I understand what's going on, but if you need any help just ask. Also I have a feeling what happens in this fight with Naraku will effect a lot more then just our live, so no matter what stop him."

"I will father thank you for everything, oh and one more thing…"

"Yes Inu-Yasha, continue you've never been a shy one."

"Well you said earlier about that girl, her names Kagome and… What do you think of her?"
