Author's Note

Hi there, everyone. I just thought I'd write a really quick AN to assure you all (if you didn't already know) that I am NOT stopping work on this fic. I am on vacation---in Detroit, MI.

For those of you who have not watched the news (like those of us here with no TV), the Niagara-Mohawk power grid went down on Thursday…and so did half the eastern seaboard, southern Ontario---and southeast Michigan. That would be me. Yes, we were the LAST to get our power (and water…no plumbing-ewww) back--- on Saturday. So. No computer=no writing. No writing=no updates. Gomen, ne, minnasan. Don't blame me, blame whichever idiot fried a circuit or whatever junk story we'll be fed as a reason for the outage.

Anyway, there it is. Going to be a little longer than I had originally anticipated for the next chapter. It doesn't help that MM.org is taking about 7 minutes to load each page (what's up with that?). And for future reference, roughing it like a third-worlder has given me a completely new appreciation for modern amenities---not an experience I care to repeat! Count your blessings, everyone!
