The DATE!

The ring glinted at Dib daringly as he stared at it. Zimsera was sleeping in the other room, or at least what passed for sleeping as Irken’s. She seemed so relaxed and he definitely wanted to keep her that way. She had ate the pancakes and opted for a quick nap even though she wasn’t tired, not since her PAK was upgraded which confused Dib a bit. He had told her about the outing he had planned and when he wanted to go but she didn’t seem to excited about it. Of course he had left most of it a surprise but he really wanted to seal the deal before things got too serious around Earth. And before the little one arrived, that was the most important detail and he could flake out now that he had such a fine gem and such intricate design on such a beautiful ring. He would do right by his new family alien or not, he would take responsibility and do thing right. He heard movement and the door unhitching, he clambered to hide the ring quickly enough. Luckily he was able to clumsily close the small case and hide it away in a pocket before meeting the gaze of a very suspicious, yet adorable alien. Zimsera was eyeing him so viciously he almost thought he would burst into flames from their intensity. He gulped trying to pretend he was doing nothing wrong.
“I have decided to join you on this outing,” Zimsera replied haughtily. It was clear she still believed herself better than any human, but he didn’t mind so much anymore. He knew it was all, or at least most of it was, an act to keep her feeling like she was important. And after seeing how her Tallest treated her, he now understood why. Zimsera and he shared many similarities, both were picked on by their own race for having different views. Of course Dib wasn’t sure of the exact reason but it was plain how the Tallest treated Zimsera that thought very little of her and her authority. Of course this did not bode well for his planet or him for that matter.
“I was hoping you would join me, it’s very important,” Dib replied.
“Well of course it is, you’re my life-mate and I can’t let you out of my sight,” Zimsera replied, clearly misunderstanding. “Can’t let those vultures get you.”
“Vultures?” Dib asked.
“Your Hyuman women, Gaz said they’d swoop in and try to take you from me if you go alone,” Zimsera replied glaring at him. “She said they were eyeing you at the mall, that they were planning to take you and… well she didn’t say what they would do but no matter. I will make sure those Vultures-Maggot-Hyumans know that Dib is MINE!”
“YAAAAAY MASTER BIG-HEAD BOY!” GIR screamed as he ran by making Zimsera eye the loony robot with a confused expression.
“GIR!” Zimsera yelled. The robot snapped to attention with a red eyed salute.
“MASTER WHAT ARE YOUR ORDERS!” GIR replied monotonously.
“Protect the apartment while we are out!” Zimsera ordered. The robot tilted his head with his tongue hanging out.
“O-o-okie-Dokie!” He replied suddenly the laughed maniacally and ran off in his excitement. Zimsera let out a sigh before heading back into the bedroom leaving a very confused Dib sitting on the couch. He then stood himself and checked himself over. He had chosen his best black trench coat with a nice dark tee underneath and of course his usual black slacks. Heck he even shined his shoes that morning before he cooked breakfast.
“Gaz, what were you thinking?” Dib asked no one in particular. His phone made the message dining sound and he looked at it, it was from Gaz simply saying ‘you’re welcome, idiot’. He sighed, how did she know he even said anything, or would say anything. He just didn’t get her, at all.

It was almost an hour before Zimsera was finally ready. Dib’s jaw hit the ground so hard when she was ready though. The lovely little red number hugged her in all the right ways. A slit that showed halfway up her thigh causing all his thoughts to sputter to a halt despite the cute baby bump that had obviously grown. All he could do was follow the hot red line up to her flawless life-like breasts to that tantalizing strip of neck he wanted to nibble on. Those lovely new contacts made her eyes more of a honey brown and the dark green lipstick really made her lips pop. Plus her hair was pinned up save for two curling braids that hid her antennae fairly well, after all they had to be too long for the wig by now. Zimsera’s lip curled up as though she were expecting such a response.
“This must be enough to keep away those vultures now,” She replied in a sultry voice that made Dib’s mouth water. He wanted to devour her so much that he almost lost his composure and stalked her into their bedroom to take her right then and there. He suddenly remembered his surprise and halted after the first two hungry steps, and since when had it become their bedroom? He took a breath and muttered a bit trying to find the words.
“You’re so beautiful,” he stammered, breathless. Zimsera’s eyes shone with delight at the compliment, it was an unexpected reaction but he definitely wanted to tell her how sexy and strong she was as well but the words fled him before he could even speak them. Zimsera approached him and ran a hand down his front making him gulp before walking away toward the door.
“Well…?” she asked turning slightly to peer at him over her shoulder. He shook his head to clear it before heading to the door and bowing as he held it open for her. He caught a glimpse of the smile but thought nothing of it as he caught up with her and held out his arm which she took once she stuffed something into the little red purse he hadn’t noticed at first glance. He didn’t even think twice about it however as he played the gentleman.
He opened the door for her when they finally reached the restaurant the led her to a fancy little cushy booth with red velvet seat covers. Or at least that is what he had hoped it would look like. Those tall candle illuminating the table the mood lighting the hot and sweet subtle music that would match the mood. But he supposed it could be worse. It was an upbeat little restaurant that played good old fashioned country the ones about love, pain, and other emotions he could never grasp before the song was over. The seats were clean cool leather, the table was immaculate cleaned spotless it seemed. The menus placed just so with the dessert menu tucked into a metal holder that kept it standing on it’s thin edge to display both sides. Their condiments and packets of sugar, salt and pepper shakers all arranged neatly off to the side.
Even without mood lighting there was still a mood to be had and he wanted to catch her off-guard with this, he wanted her honest decision. She had obviously been dropping him hints calling him her Life-Mate even though he had no idea what that term meant. He reached into his pocket only to find it empty. He bit his lip checking his other pocket, he hoped he hadn’t dropped it.
“Looking for this?” Zimsera asked accusingly. He felt his face heat up when she presented it to him. “Hah you were! What’s in it? A doomsday device? A trap? A mini-nuke?”
“None of those things,” he replied. The moment was ruined for the most part but he was going to try and salvage it as best he could. “It was supposed to be a surprise, you can open it if you are still suspicious of me.”
“Hmm,” Zimsera was giving him a cold suspicious glare but she slowly opened the box closing one eye as though she expected it to explode. When the lid was halfway open her eyes widened in surprise. Dib thinking to salvage the moment walked around to her side and grabbed her free hand in both of his.
“Zimsera, it would be my honor and privilege to remain at your side as your life-mate, will you marry me?” Dib asked, his face felt like it was on fire, he had not expected to have everyone in the restaurant's eyes on them. He didn’t even dare look around to confirm but he could see Zimsera’s eyes looking around.
“Is that like becoming life-mates for humans?” she whispered.
“It is,” he whispered back his face feeling somehow warmer. He had guessed that life-mates remain together for all of their lives, kind of like how marriage is supposed to be: until death do us part.
“I accept,” Zimsera replied off-handedly. He could tell she was happy however as a bit of color came to her cheeks. He took out the ring from the box and slid it on her left hand it was a perfect fit, he didn’t question how his sister had known her ring size. Applause erupted around the restaurant which made them both blush even more. Zimsera stared at the ring a while with a smile on her lips.
“May I get you two anything?” the waitress asked as she approached finally. They made their order Zimsera getting something sweet and he getting a steak with an order of red wine. Zimsera and Dib both showed their ID as requested before she congratulated them and headed off to fill their order. The chatter picked up after that as everyone got back to their own conversations.
“So how does human marriage work?” Zimsera asked low enough to not be overheard.
“I can explain after the movie,” he replied.
“Movie?” Zimsera asked. The answer had thrown her off completely, he was definite keeping her guessing or so he hoped.
“Yea, don’t worry no more surprises,” he replied.
“I suppose a movie is better seen after eating, the popped corn would have just spoiled dinner, and the surprise,” she smiled at him then. “So because you have given me such a rare gem I will have a surprise for you as well.” He didn’t like the look she gave him, it made him suspicious. The tanzanite gem glinted in the light as she grinned at him. She leaned in and motioned for him to get closer, so he did but instead of revealing her plan she kissed him. When she pulled back and he sat back u he noticed a few people taking peeps and smiling obviously caught up in their happy moment. He decided to make idle conversation until the waitress returned with their drinks. With the movie theater in walking distance he wasn’t too worried about having a glass of wine. He also couldn’t help but notice something bother Zimsera, it was written all over her face.
“Zim, whatever is on your mind, let it go for tonight,” He told her softly. She glared like she wanted to scold and looked like she would but she stopped and began to chew her lower lip. “Zim this is our night forget them and have fun.”
“Fun,” she parroted. “Yes,” she smiled suddenly. “Let’s have the most of this ‘fun’ tonight.” He smiled back noticing she sounded more like a queen then anything else.
It wasn’t too long before the food arrived and they were able to enjoy it. Of course he had had better steak but it was pretty good and went nicely with the side of potatoes. Of course he had to pause to watch Zimsera with her mini-mountain of ice cream, he definitely did not understand alien biology but at least she was enjoying it. She even stole some of his potatoes but decided she didn’t like them as they were too salty. They laughed and chatted between bites, mostly about the meal avoiding their worries.

Zim decided she liked their little outing and of course she hadn’t forgotten about her promise. She would have to present him with something equally rare, a stone or gem maybe, yes she would have to crafted it out of the things she brought with her but it would be worth it to see his surprise. But to put his mind at ease maybe she should seduce him. She grinned as she unlocked the door to the apartment, he gave her a confused look as she pulled him inside with her closing the door and pressing her fake breasts against him. The reaction was nearly instantaneous, his body seemed to warm up beneath her hands as she quested for his erogenous zones. She grinned as his lids drooped sensually and his lips parted coming down to meet hers in a passionate wet kiss. She loved being able to light him up like a hot blanket and wrap him around her in the heat of the moment. He toyed with her neckline a bit teasing the sensitive skin as she began to help him out of his trench coat. He gently lifted her up to prevent her from removing his shirt as he carried her into the bedroom nibbling her neck along the way. He set her down once he toed the door closed and let her remove shirt and he in turn attempted to remove her dress but she backed away and grinned and him removing her shoes first the she reached down and slowly began to lift the dress. She grimaced suddenly as her vision wavered and warped then everything went dark.
