Jing could feel the darkness trying to shallow him, trying to not make him breathe and it was working. Some how air wasn't going in his lungs and worse he couldn't run away from the darkness as it started to grab hard again. His soul wasn't feeling any better; it was getting weaker by each second.

 

How did he never got in to this mess? Now he remembered.

 

Three days after he saved that girl from those guards.

 

(Flashback)

 

“How long is it?”

 

“Just a little farther Kir” Jing look out the boat's window and saw it, Batafurai, land of nature.

The markets in Batafurai City were not only busy with citizens but it was under the roots of trees bigger than the mountains, Jing was in the markets with Kir on his right shoulder. “So this is the capital of Batafurai, Batafurai City” said the pervert albatross. He looked around with uninterested. “Hey Jing, lets leave, this city is sooo”- Kir couldn't finished his sentence when he saw three beautiful women walking down the markets wearing skimpy outfits.

 

“Sooooooo heavenly” said Kir while Jing gave a `this is a little disturbing' look. Kir flew to the beautiful women and swings one wing on each woman's shoulders and yell “bye Jing, see ya at the inn ok?”

 

When Kir was going away to some bar, Jing sigh `I knew this will happen, Batafurai has the most beautiful girls in all countries and besides...' He look at a tree-like castle and smiled “it also has the mysterious Butterfly Heart, the one they say shows the true meaning of nature, why it's actually here in our world.”

 

Jing walked down the markets seeing, mostly teenage women in skimpy outfits and pervert men trying to grope them, this is a city of sluts and perverts for sure. `I wonder why there aren't no guards or police some sorts in the streets?'

 

“Ah let go of me please?”

 

“Shut up and take it off” Jing turn around see three ugly guys who were guards of the empire trying to take off a girl's dress off, seeing he just got his answer.

 

“Ah C'mon sweetie do it.”

 

“No!”

 

“Hold her!” The two other guys hold her, when the third guy was about to rip the dress off her, Jing kicked him in the face making him lose conscious. “What the hell?” the guards look at the daring lad before them “you son of a bitch why did you did that?” Jing smiled at the guards, one of guards raised his sword at him “bastard you're now arrested for harassment of an officer of justice.” The guard charge straight to the Bandit King and end up being hit in the stomach after Jing dodge his attack. The guard fell to the ground with anime swirls in his eyes. The last guard got so afraid; he somehow picked the guards and ran off.

 

Jing look at the girl who was on the ground, she wore a long-sleeve purple dress that almost reaches her ankles, the dress also shows all her curves. He couldn't see her face because her face was cover by a purple cloth except her Caribbean green eyes, and some of her hair came out showing it was white with black ends. To tell the truth, she's the first teenage girl who wears something decent ever since he entered the city.

 

He soon saw a light green beaded necklace with a blue butterfly gem on the ground. He picked it up, walked to the girl, and helped her up. “You ok?”

 

Instead of an answer, she grabbed the necklace in his hand, bowed to him, and ran. Jing looked at the girl, noticing in her eyes was fear and confusion.

At that night, Jing lay in his bed, looking at the ceiling, thinking about the girl until Kir came in. “Hey how was your day?”

 

Jing looked at him “Fine, it was alright.” Kir soon noticed the look he gave “hey what aren't you telling me?”

 

Jing turned around “nothing Kir, it just nothing.”

 

He was now getting frustrated “I know you're lying Jing so telled me”-

 

Knock! Knock!

 

Kir went to the door and when he opened it. It was very beautiful girl at the door, Kir smile and eyes turn to hearts. “Hello my lady what's”-

 

“I'll like to see a boy here; I heard he's staying at this inn” said the girl, Jing turn around and saw the beautiful girl, he realize it was the same girl he saved because she was wearing the butterfly gem necklace. He could feel his heart skip a beat when he saw how beautiful she was but didn't understand why his heart would do that?

 

The girl noticed him and went to him, she kneel down and put on a serious look “I came to see you so I can say thank you. I'm glad I didn't get rape by those perverts and I'd like to thank you, so thanks”. She soon bowed to him and Jing was little shocked, no one bow to him before but he didn't like it. He kneeled down lift her head by taking her chin by his hand. “Please don't bow ok? (Small giggled) I'm not royalty.” A pink blush came on her pale white cheeks; Jing looked at her and smiled. “A-ah...no...I...couldn't...”

 

“Huh?” He gave a confuse look when she stand up, nervous. “I'm sorry did I scare”-

 

“NO! It's just...please don't meet me again or you'll be in deep trouble” with that, she left. Jing looked at the door, what was wrong with her? And why does he...

 

Feel this girl was in trouble in some way?

 

“Ahhhh now I know my answer” Jing's eyes widen in shock, he forgot Kir was here. He looked at the albatross, who smiled wicked “never thought I'll see this day. You...King of Bandits...in love! I've always thought you were neither going to died an lonely old man or fall in love with a man...” Jing punched him in the beck with the last statement. His face blushed.

 

(Flashback End)

 

Jing finally got out of the vines of darkness, only to get bruises on his wrists, waist, and ankles, one big bruise was on his left cheek while a cut was on his right cheek. Bigger cuts were on his upper arms, left side of his neck, thighs, and chest. This means he didn't look too good.

 

He saw a black door and went to it. When he opened it, he was in a dirty hallway, wall was dirty light brown, and floors were boarded dark brown. A lot of black doors were on both walls of the hallway. Garbage like paper, cans, died up leaves and flowers were on the floor, broken up boxes were also on dirty floors but what made this place scary is that it was very dark meaning there was no light.

 

Jing wasn't scared though, he has seen scarier places than this but he was tired because he lost a lot of blood and was hurt. He walked through the hall, also noticing skeletons bones were here too. As he walked he left a trail of blood. He got so tried, he felled. He got up into his knees and pressed his back against the wall, breathing heavily of the fact he couldn't hardly breathe and his soul was losing its life.

 

He knew all this was a dream but...

 

It felt so real.

 

He thought of the girl, two days after he saved her. He met that woman in the bar.

 

(Flashback)

 

He sat in the Suiyou Bar, looking down with arms crossed together on the dark brown bar table, thinking of a way to steal the Butterfly Heart. Kir was at somewhere else with women so he was alone. “Something bothering you kid?”

 

He turned to his left to see a beautiful woman in her early twenties. Her hair was chest-length dark blue hair and wore a black dress that reached her knees and a jean jacket. What made her look unique were her eyes, one was purple and red. Jing looked with uninterested but at same time curiously of what she want “nothing wrong, just sitting.”

 

She sat next to him “I'll buy you a drink.”

 

“I don't drink” the lady looked at him “ok; I guess you aren't those sixteen years old boys who just want to have that kind of `fun'.” He nodded.

 

“Hey bartender two glasses of Zephyr fruit juice ok.” She looked at him with a smile “its juice, not alcohol ok.” When the drinks came, he decided to get to the point “What do you want with me?”

 

She smirked when he drank his drink “easy I just want to greet the King of Bandits.” He choked a little when he heard her called him by his title. “Who are you?”

 

“All can be explain dear if you follow me” She got up from her seat and walked out the door. Jing didn't want to follow her; something in his mind was telling him she was trouble but he had to follow her to see how she knows who he was.

 

He followed her.

Jing followed the woman to the Hoshi beach, during the time he felt a little nervous because her eyes were scanning his body. When she reached the part of the beach where no one hear or see anything. He felt really nervous but didn't show it. Her eyes scanned his body once more before she spoke.

 

“My name is Kijo. I'm a witch and I'm 21 years old. I've brought you here so no one can witness my...captured”

 

Captured? Ok time to leave. Before Jing could even turn around, he felt himself weaken. He felt like he didn't sleep for days. Kijo walked to him and picked him up bridal style. She smiled as she somehow put his head on her shoulder. “I drugged your drink so wouldn't escaped King of Bandits. Now sleep my Darling, you need it for our `fun' at least for me” Jing's eyes slowly closed as he stared at Kijo.

 

(Flashback end)

 

He looked down in shame on what happen after he woke up.

 

But

 

He didn't know someone was watching him.
